A customer asks if users can delete the files they uploaded before submitting the form. This might be a case where they uploaded the wrong files or changed their minds about sharing. I don't think this is an option, but thought I'd ask anyway.
Is there Javascript that will submit a block's content, but then skip back to the TOC overview rather than going to the next question? I can trigger a NextButton.click(), but that goes to the next question rather than back up to the TOC. Ideally, the end of the block would have a only a button for the TOC and not a Next. I can easily hide the Next button with CSS. The problem is that the info on that block is never "submitted." I know this question sounds a little nutty. Sorry.
I want to use "Qualtrics.SurveyEngine.addOnUnload" to set embedded data with Javascript. I want to use "addOnUnload," though, so I can compare 2 values from questions in this block. Here is my script. The console.log returns the values I expect to see, but the embedded data is not set. Note: In my survey flow, I have a "Set Embedded Data" block with the defined data before the block containing this script. I tried putting it after the block. I ask my user for a zip code. If it matches any of the zip codes in my Javascript array, then I want to use a branch. If zip matches a value in my array, then go to block 2 when the block 1 "Next" button is pressed.If zip does NOT match a value in my array, then go to block 3 when the block 1 "Next" button is pressed.My question is very similar to this post, but I don't understand what TomG is saying in the second part of his answer. I'm using a Table of Contents with The canned Qualtrics themes "Minimal - Blue" and/or "Blank (For Styling)." I have the TOC sidebar enabled. When users view the survey with large monitors, the sidebar automatically opens after a block loads, even if the user previously closed it. This is disorienting. Is there script I can add that will keep the sidebar always closed unless the user manually opens it by clicking the sidebar (hamburger) button? !
I have a multiple choice question with an "Other" field that allows text entry. If users choose "other," how do I require them to specify? I've looked through validation options, but don't see one that matches. Here's my example: !
I have a button in my footer that is displayed all the time. When it is clicked, I want it to jump to the last block in my survey (or any block I specify). I think I do this by making the button a Jump button. FWIW: I am using a Table of Contents, so I think Jump Buttons apply.
Is there a simple way to add a custom button to the #Buttons div? I'm sure I saw a post with jQuery or Qualtrics Javascript API instructions, but now I can't find it.

I'm building a public comment survey. The public can add essay-style text to a variety of questions in subheadings. I plan to make each subheading a block. Is there a great way to make a sticky menu that will allow users to jump around from block to block? Or maybe I could make an index style page that links to the blocks. I have a popover creative working on my site for website feedback. It is triggered by an html button on my site (a button with a unique ID). It works great, but only once unless the user refreshes the page. I'd like users to be able to open and close the popover as many times as they want. Any help is appreciated.
