For well over three years, we have experienced an issue in the Report function. We have gone to Qualtrics a number of times to try and rectify the issue to no avail. Scenario one:Start a report Insert question visualizations Adjust visualizations to meet the need for the data (e.g., bar graph, breakdown bar) Insert the next question visualization, etc. When the report is finished, it is downloaded to a PDF When viewing the PDF there are some questions “missing” Go back to the report, and find that the questions that were “missing” are hidden visualizations and need to be expanded. However, the settings for the question are gone which means the question needs to be removed and inserted again. Scenario two:Start a report Insert question visualizations Adjust visualizations to meet the need for the data (e.g., bar graph, breakdown bar) Insert the next question visualization, etc. When the report is finished, log out Log back in later that day or week to find questions are missing in the r
We are having a significant issue with our report visualizations. Here is the issue: click on "report", "insert" question, adjust the visualization to meet the need for showing the data, continue to build the report by inserting visualizations. Between each page, add a "page break". The system saves and when going back to the report, some visualizations are "minimized". The user does not adjust the size of the visualizations - only the way the data is shown (so stats vs. bar chart). This has caused us significant delays and has made our process inefficient. For each time our user "fixes" the report, when they go back to it, it happens again - but to other questions. Has anyone run into this issue? If so - what is the resolution? Qualtrics has been looking into it, but without success. See the image below - there are 3 questions that minimized after having inserted those questions, adjusting the visualization to be a bar chart, and going back to the report after it saves to see this.
Hi,Recently, I have been experiencing issues when sharing an advanced report to PDF. I build the report, and then select, share-->download PDF and when the PDF populates not all the visualizations or text appear. For instance, this morning, I built a report and downloaded the PDF, and the question text did not appear on the first question. So I closed that PDF, and tried it again. Now the question text appeared, but the graph on page 2 did not appear. So...I closed, and tried it again, failed. Again. Failed. Finally, since this is an internal survey I sent the link. However, if this was for a client, they need to have the PDF. And this continues to happen. I have cleared cache, use incognito in Chrome, my Adobe is up to date, and still continues to happen. Anyone have issues with this? And if so, what was the resolution? Thank you!!Natasha
We set up a 103 question survey and the respondent is getting this response when trying to click forward "You have added text into a unselected answer choice. Please select the answer choice or remove the text" and he cannot move forward in the survey!I am going to make the assumption that he did not select the button next to the "other" with the text box in the multiple choice. But before I make that assumption, I wasn't sure if anyone had this issue?Thank you!!!!
Hi everyone,We are looking to build a question and visualization to show a network map. Kind of like the typical social networking map graphic. The question we want to ask is "how do you communicate with the most" and "how frequently do you talk with them" then we want to show a radar graph (or a map) to show how information is being discussed among a large group of people. We have the CoreXM platform, not CX Dashboards. Any help would be appreciated.Thank you!
Hi everyone,Has anyone had the experience with someone receiving an individual link (using the email distribution function) NOT be able to restart their survey? I had a respondent start their survey and when they went back to it, they were not able to go to the next question they needed to answer without first answering the questions they had already answered earlier. I looked at the data, and their responses had not been recorded.My understanding is that a respondent does not need to hit the next button for it to record, for the system does it automatically in real time. Now, this being said, they were the only one out of 30 who had an issue. Any insight would be great! Thank you.
We need to apply a weight to each respondent, then we need to show that weight in the advanced report. We have been trying to figure this process out, and cannot.Help?
Hello everyone, we are trying to figure out the character limitations on labels in bar charts through building an advanced report. In testing I came up with 60-75 (including spaces and symbols). Anyone provide any insight? We have a very unique (and long) survey and are trying to shorten our label statements in the report the best way possible. Thank you!

Hi everyone, Having a tough time with font size. The theme that is set is 18 for Question and 18 for Answer. However, when previewing, the Questions are 18, and the answers for Matrix look like 12. Any way to adjust?
Hi everyone, I built a report in the reports tab. Two things have happened and continue to happen and I am using incognito, clearing cache, refreshing, restarting... 1. All visualizations appear on the reports tab, I download to PDF, the PDF does not include all of the visualizations. When I go back into the report on the reports tab, those visualizations have now become an extremely small box that I need to find and expand. 2. All visualizations appear on the report in the report tab. A few days later I reopen the report and all of the visualizations are grayed and the data is missing. Not fun after spending time building a complex report. Anyone experiencing this? Any troubleshooting? My colleague is also contacting support since she is set to deliver a report and the data is missing from it!
Hello, We have a large survey which we would like to combine the strongly agree and agree responses as one data set and combine the strongly disagree and disagree as another data set on a visualization. I cannot seem to do this, and given Qualtrics seems to be able to do anything, I figured I would ask! Thank you all! Example: Currently we are showing: Question A Statement 1 has 100 strongly agree and 12 agree vs. 76 strongly disagree and 23 disagree We would like to show: Question A Statement 1 112 strongly agree/agree and 99 strongly disagree/disagree
