Update to the Website Feedback and Adobe Analytics Extension

BackgroundQualtrics Website Feedback currently supports a 2-way extension with Adobe Analytics, which allows for both the targeting of intercepts (and ingestion of embedded data) based on Adobe Analytics variables as well as the exchange of Qualtrics experience feedback data back to Adobe.The extension for sending experience feedback data back to Adobe is currently based on Adobe data connector technology, and Adobe has announced an end-of-life of the data connector technology for extensions effective August 1st.What is Qualtrics doing in response to this?To ensure a high quality, seamless integration update and limited impact to customer deployments, Qualtrics is working closely with Adobe. On October 27th, we will roll-out an updated extension for all clients. While new data connectors cannot be created after August 1st, Adobe has assured us that existing data connectors will continue to function even after August 1st, through at least November 30th.Using Adobe Analytics for the targ

Update to Embedded Data Handling in Website Feedback

What is the change?Qualtrics is updating our Website Feedback capabilities to enable embedded data to be captured and sent to the Qualtrics XM platform without being stored in the visible survey URL. The embedded data will now be passed to the survey in the request body (POST method).This has a couple of benefits:1. Removes the limit on the amount of embedded data that can be captured and sent to surveys from websites.2. Eliminates the visibility of the embedded data within survey URLs (as query strings).After this change is made, your intercepts, surveys, reports and dashboards will continue functioning as before, with no additional action required.*Note: This update will have no impact on the way embedded data is currently used in the survey flow.What action do I need to take?We expect this change to be completely transparent to your usage of Website feedback intercepts, and you will not need to take any action or change any configuration. You will still be able to pass embedded data

Upcoming Improvements to the Simple Chart Widget

Starting March 31, we’re updating the visual design of simple chart widgets for all dashboard users. We want to ensure consistent information design and begin to add accessibility compliance so that we can eventually meet WCAG 2.0 AA. The first stage of accessibility is improving the colors and contrast ratios of the default charts.Here are a few of the changes we’re introducing:Line chart updatesPoints are removed and will only be rendered on hover and when data needs a special indicator; for example, statistical significance, grouped for anonymity (EX), or low sample size (this last one is an upcoming feature). This reduces visual noise in the line chart. BeforeAfterWe’ll also be introducing direct line labeling, a visualization technique based on the Gestalt principle of proximity – namely, the idea that viewers will perceive objects that are in close proximity to each other as being more meaningfully grouped or connected. 2020 XMI Customer Ratings Benchmark Data is Live!

The results are in!We are excited to announce that the Qualtrics XM Institute recently published 2020 data for two popular CX benchmarks. The benchmark data is available directly in the product and exists in two forms, Overall and Consumer NPS. The Overall Ratings are a composite metric of customer experience delivery, assessing consumers’ feelings of success, effort, and emotion when interacting with companies. The Consumer NPS Ratings measure the Net Promoter Score first championed by Bain et al. Both benchmarks are a cross-industry, open-standard benchmark of customer experience and measure the performance of over 300 organizations across several industries.
