Much to my delight, the "$ " and the " .00" applied only to the appropriate column (#2). However, it only applied itself to alternating rows. In my experimenting, I changed the last number in this line from 2 to 1:for (var i = 1; i < inputs.length; i+=1) {To my surprise, that worked, with one remaining issue. The "$ " and the " .00" are now applied to every row except the very first row. My tinkering has not solved this problem. Do you have any advice?Thank you!
Hello ahmedA,I'm not sure if you are still part of this support community, but if you are, I was wondering if you might be able to help me.Just over one year ago, as you can see earlier in this discussion, you helped me figure out how to suppress some additional previous/next buttons that I had added to the top of my survey from the Response Summary page. This year's version of the same survey isn't using the Response Summary the same way. So, what I did this time is suppress those same buttons from the Table of Contents conclusion page. I was able to apply your suggestion from above into the HTML of my custom Table of Contents completion message to successfully suppress the buttons from this page.But, what I cannot seem to figure out is how to change the label of the next button at the bottom of the Table of Contents conclusion page ONLY (not on other Table of Contents pages). I am using the script below in the Table of Contents Header to change the label of the next button on all Ta
I found this discussion where ahmedA suggests using a mutation observer. My JS skills are not at that level, so if anyone knows how this could be done (to either eliminate the warning message above from appearing or to change the message that it displays), I would greatly appreciate it!

Hello. The code that was provided earlier in this discussion (pasted below) works very well to display one row, with a plus sign allowing users to add more (hidden) rows (and by rows I mean statements in a Side by side question). The only imperfection I have found is that sometimes, when adding a new row, the numbering of the rows is not sequential. I have now discovered the reason why the previous button has disappeared on my Response Summary page. It happened because the End of Survey element, which includes the response summary, cannot be nested within the Table of Contents element. And, here's the part I didn't know, the back button will not show between blocks that have any survey flow element between them.So, the disappearance of the back button on the Response Summary page wasn't caused by any JavaScript errors or conflict, but this still leaves me hoping that someone can find a way, through custom code, of adding back the button. If it cannot be done back to the previous page, perhaps there would be a way to return to the beginning of the survey or to the Table of Contents page (i.e., Section Links).Thank you!
KimothiSaurabh, I do have a follow-up question, in case you can help with that, too. Prior to adding my table of contents, I already had the longer code I included above which hides the navigation buttons from the top of my Response Summary page, leaving only the built-in buttons at the bottom. (We need it that way because we need people to go through the entire page and review their responses and leaving a next/submit button at the top of the summary page makes it too easy for them just to hit submit without reviewing.) Anyway, this all worked well, but since adding the Table of Contents with the shorter code (both in its original state and with the small tweak that you suggested), I end up only seeing my next/submit button on the Response Summary. I don't know why, but the previous button isn't appearing there any longer, which I find puzzling since the short script we are discussing doesn't even mention the previous button. Any ideas?? My issue is that I wish to have the Table of Contents page, which does not have modifiable next/previous buttons. So, if I get the button to say "submit" on the Response Summary page (which I need it to), it will also say "submit" on the Table of Contents page (which is the problem).If anyone knows how to get around this issue via JS or any other tricks, please let me know. Just in case, I should mention that I didn't have access to JS either, but I asked for permission by the system admins and they granted it to me. Not sure if that is an option for you or not. Hi TDykens,If your issue is the same one that JacquelineS began this thread with, I was able to find a fix with the help of Qualtrics support. A simple line of JavaScript fixed the formatting of the PDF Response Summary perfectly for me. Here is what I did (copied directly from what the Qualtrics Product Specialist sent me): 1. Open up the survey that is experiencing this issue 2. Select the gear icon on the left side of the first question in your survey. 3. Select the option that says "Add JavaScript" 4. Highlight the orange text for the middle option " /*Place your JavaScript here to run when the page is fully displayed*/" 5. Paste this code in that location:window.experimental.PDFPageBreaks = true;The window should look like the attached image below.Click Save and your PDF Response Summary should now page break properly on its own without you having to worry about adding any page breaks in your survey for that purpose.I hope that fixes your problems as it fixed mine. Oh! But we were using the EndOfSurvey id to eliminate the buttons from the Response Summary, which is different than the end of survey message. In my survey, respondents get to see the Response Summary page before actually clicking submit, at which point they are presented with my custom end of survey message (this gives them a chance to review their responses before submitting them and making corrections, if they need to). So, when I apply your code from Jan 6, the buttons are indeed removed from the Response Summary page (which is what I was hoping for), but then the buttons reappear on the custom end of survey message (and I would like to remove them from there, too).

ahmedA Thank you for your response. I tried adding the condition you listed above, but I couldn't get it to work. Instead of removing the NEXT button on the Response Summary page, it added an extra NEXT button on every page. This is the code that I added in order to get the extra PREVIOUS/NEXT buttons to appear in the header. Any thoughts on how to incorporate your idea within this?
