Issues with formula output in workflow

Hi @tfostersbu I tried to replicate your setup and its the same issue with me as well. But it worked for me when I did a workaround i.e., stored the formula value in an embedded data and then pipe text that embedded data value in the ‘Total’ row in the table.make sure that the embedded data is defined before that particular question block in which the “Total” value will be displayed. This should work.

Randomisation and excluding those that had been presented when showing the block a second time

Hi @da_isyl You can create embedded data to flag the question blocks which were already displayed earlier.If the randomizer selects Group Q1 containing Q1 question block, simultaneously the embedded data value will get assigned to it. You can use any variable name and value of your choice.You can create a branch logic which will only allow to display that block if it wasn’t displayed earlier based on the embedded data.Let me know if it works!

Matrix custom validation force response for all but "Other" option

Hi @mugheeshay you can exclude the selection of that particular choice in your javascript code.Below is a code where the ‘Other’ option is at the 4th place. So the code is customized as follows - it will not increase the number counter if the selected choice has a digit ‘4’ in it. Similarly you can replace the digit 4 by the correct value at where your ‘Other’ option is situated.  @Geny On the left hand side of your question you will find an option to add Javascript, see image below.  copy paste the code here.The code I provided in the above post, you will need to customize it according to your question ID and answer ID. ”QR~QID11~1~2” targets the question ID 11 and the cell of row 1 column 2. If you want to do it for the whole column 2 then you will need to amend it accordingly.

@mmukherji sorry for late reply!NOTE: It will be a lengthy set up.STEP 1: Create 10 blocks for 10 questions which will have a single question in a single block.STEP 2: In the survey flow, create a randomizer which will contain all the 10 blocks in it. Keep the randomizer value as 10 and tick the check box for ‘Evenly present elements’.Each group will contain a block of question with some embedded data.STEP 3: Inside each group create an embedded data which will act as a flag for that particular block.STEP 4: This step is particularly for Q2, Q3. Q6 and Q8.Block Q2 will only be displayed if embedded data ‘displayed’ is not equal to Q6, this will prevent Q2 from showing just after Q6.(Please ignore the embedded data ‘Q2_displayed’, it will be explained in the further steps.)Repeat this similar process for block Q3, Q6 and Q8 as well.  hi @sics_sue_choo The below regex will allow strings that contain only alphabets, numbers, commas, full stops, apostrophes, spaces, and dashes. It will reject strings that contain any other characters, such as smileys or special symbols.
