How to send preview email

Hi, I would like to send preview email to pretest my questionnaire (Pilot study). The Qualtrics support website said that I can send a preview email link via the "send preview email" function. I have gone the function in distribution tab but could not find it. Can anyone here tell me where can I locate this function? Thanks.

Is the individual link work if it was forwarded?

Hi, I will use Qualtrics to distribute my survey (individual link). In some circumstances, some of the respondents may not in the position to take part in the survey. Therefore, they will forward the invitation email to the appropriate person. I know the individual link can only be used once. My question is will the individual link work if it was forwarded to other person?Thanks. Regards, Houston

How to remove "N/A" options for some sub questions (statements) in a matrix question

Hi, I have a question in my survey which contains five sub questions. I am finding a way to remove the “Not applicable” option for sub-questions 3 to 5 (see the picture attached). Could anyone teach me how to do that. Is that possible or I have to split this question into two?Many thanks for your help!

How to force respondent to select a scale after text entry

Hi,I have a matrix question that uses a Likert-scale point system. I have one response that is an "Other" that allows text entry.I managed to create a custom validation which allows this answer option not be forced response. However, I want to force respondents to select an appropriate scale after they entered a text in "other" (in case they move to next question without select the scale). How do I do this?

Responses in Progress disappear!

Hi, I use Qualtrics to collect data. I have 115+/- responses in progress are disappeared from my account for no reason. Could anyone here help? Please....I checked my settings and they are all correct. These responses in progress are supposed to be recorded after 3 months rather than deleted. Also, they are not expired yet. Please see attached.  These responses are very important to me although they are partially completed. Please help. Regards, Houston

How to hide radio buttons in a matrix question

Hi,I have a matrix question. I want to hide the radio buttons in the last raw (as the picture shown). Respondents in the survey are allowed to enter alternative in the text box provided if their answer is not in the list. How do I do it?Thanks.Regards.

Published VS draft version

Hi,I published a survey project about four weeks ago (9 August). I reviewed my questions in the questionnaire for several after publishing but I did not make any changes. And the sign showed "Published" all the time.I logged on to Qualtrics again this afternoon to check responses I have received and reviewed few questions (I did not make any changes as well). When the time I want to log out I found the signal "Published" has been turned to "Draft". I was really shocked as I did not make any changes. I checked the version history it shows that three versions have been saved today (see picture attached). My question is:Q1. Is it normal?Q2. Will it affect the invitations I sent out? What about future invitation?Q3. Why this happened?Thanks!Regards,Houston

Response did no show

Hi, I have a matrix question in my survey. I made it force response since the day I developed the questions (see picture below).I conducted few pilot studies in past few days. I am sure all participants answer this question. However, when I clicked on the "data and analysis" icon and read through the responses I have received, I found that there are quit a lot of participants' responses did not show the answer for this question! Create text boxes in a matrix question for respondents who select "other"

Hi, I have a matrix question which has four lines (statements). The statements have linked to other questions (display logic). My question is how do create text boxes that allow respondent to fill in answer which are not in my list? Please see the picture below. Please help! How to setup autofill for constant sum fields or piping for autofill / “must sum to” fields

Hi, I am looking to auto fill fields in constant sum question to a total of 100.For example in a three field constant sum question, when one filed is filled as 50, second field 30 and then third field should auto fill as 20 (see the attached picture). Could you please help with with this functionality (JS code?)Many thanks!
