Hi all, One of my users is getting the expired link error when clicking a personalised link. The link isn't due to expire until 2099, and the survey is not showing in the recorded responses list or the responses in progress list. When looking at the distribution list again, there is no Response ID next to the link, so I would assume it hasn't even been clicked yet. However, that is definitely the link that they have. I've tried it myself and get the same error, so I don't think it's a browser issue. Any advice would be much appreciated!
Hi all,I've created a matrix table question where users input the time a store opens and closes (below) I'd like to be able to show them in a question underneath "you indicated that you are open for X hours a week, how many of these are staffed?" What is the best way of being able to total the open hours? I'm assuming js of somekind but not sure where to startmany thanks in advance!
Hi all! I've got a survey that respondents will wish to fill in over time, and they won't necessarily have the answers to all the questions at the beginning. Rather than force responses on all the mandatory questions, I would like them to be able to progress through the survey, but then get a validation error if they try to submit without filling in the mandatory questions. What would be the best way of doing this? Many thanks in advance!
Hi all,I've distributed a survey using personalised links. One of my respondents now has two session IDs - one that is half way through the survey, and another that is at the start. He's just emailed me to say that he inputted some data, went away, then returned to carry on inputting data but all the previous data had gone. How has he managed to start two different sessions? Is this a browser cookie issue?The survey starts with an authenticator, if that makes any difference. Many thanks in advance for any advice!

Hi there, I've got a very large survey that allows respondents to miss questions out within a block, and return to them later. I'd like to have a descriptive text question at the end of each block that lists the questions which have not been completed (this is preferable to a pop-up msg) Currently, this is built with 5 other questions, each highlighting a missing mandatory entry, and uses display logic to show the respondent the appropriate ones. This happens at 10 different points within the survey (one for each block). There has to be a better way of doing this with JS that would allow it to happen all within one question per block, rather than have 50 questions to do this job! Am a newbie to JS, but keen to compile it myself - Could someone give me a nudge in the right direction, or let me know which functions would be most helpful? I'm assuming it has to look something like this: IF (question 1 is blank) then { "you need to answer question 1" } ELSE {}
Hi all, I'd like to change an answer button to the next button for one question. Am currently using the code below, but it's not working. The next button is hidden, but it doesn't next when the answer is clicked. Qualtrics.SurveyEngine.addOnload(function() { this.hideNextButton () var that = this; this.questionclick = function(event,element){ if (element.type == 'radio') { that.clickNextButton(); } } }); It's a multiple choice question, with just one answer. Hi all, I'm trying to apply custom validation to the below side-by-side table so that for each row, the option selected in column one cannot be the same as column two. (i.e. the primary and secondary artform cannot be the same) ! I would have thought this was fairly straightforward, so have created the below custom validation using ${q://QID61%232/SelectedAnswerRecode/1} as the reference value for "does not equal", adjusting the last number for each row. ! However, this correctly validates the top row, but none of the others. I've scoured the validation for any obvious errors that I know of. I'm wondering if the reference values i'm using are incorrect? How would you all go about this? Any advice would be much appreciated. Many thanks!
Hi all, This is a bit of a strange one. I'm trying to do some custom validation to ensure that an entire row is completed in a side by side. However, the option for Event 10/Content of Activity appears to be missing. It is just on this column, event 10 is there for type of activity and format. I'm super confused. Has anyone experienced this before? ! !
Hi all, I've created a side-by-side table with 5 drop down lists. Some respondents might have enough locations to enter all five, some may just enter one. Is there a way (probably custom validation) to validate it so that the first column has to have an answer against each statement? Hope that makes sense. Any help would be much appreciated! !
