Is it possible to insert page breaks within a question?

I am creating a series of sliders to compare different images. The images very large and I am worried about overwhelming the survey respondent with too many images on one page. Is there a way to insert page breaks within a question? Thank you.

Custom programming for slider question - piping forward questions with the highest score

I am looking for some suggestions on how to possibly use Calculations or JS (or any other function) to accomplish the following: Basically, the survey I am creating asks participants to rate how similar or different they find 2 objects to be on a sliding scale from 0 (completely different) to 100 (identical). The respondent is asked to rate 20 or so pairs, all on one scrolling page. They then click "Next", and I am trying to figure out how on the following page to pipe/carry forward the slider question on which they ranked the pair the highest (or most similar) in order to ask them another question about that pair. I understand this would require Qualtrics to internally analyze the responses to all pairs then identify which was scored the highest. My only idea at this point is to used piped text to carry forward each individual ranking from the sliders into a multiple choice question, then ask the respondent to select the highest number from the answer choices. Changing items list in Pick, Group, and Rank question depending on previous responses.

I have a question concerning piping and construction of the Pick, Group, Rank Question.Currently I have a survey design where respondents view an image piped from a previous question. Respondents look at the image and then, with the PGR question, select other images that are similar (the items in the PGR question are all images). My issue is that I need the images that appear in the list to change based on the image that is piped forward from the previous question. The goal here is to make sure that there are no repeat images between the items list and the text that is piped from the previous answer.Any advice is much appreciated.

Pick, Group, Rank Question: How to swap location of items list and grouping boxes?

I'm looking for a way to swap the locations of the items list and the boxes for grouping in the Pick, Group, Rank question. Specifically, I want to place the items list on the right-hand side, and the boxes on the left. Does anyone know how to do this? Thanks in advance.

Spacing between slider and labels

I am trying to decrease the space between the slider scale and the labels at each end, as there is a significant amount of space, which makes the relationship between the slider and the labels unclear to the respondent. Does anyone have any suggestions? Below is a screenshot of what the slider currently looks like for reference. Thanks. !

How to make scroll bar visible at all times?

I was able to insert the following JS to create a scrolling list of answer choices on my multiple choice question: Qualtrics.SurveyEngine.addOnReady(function() { jQuery("#"+this.questionId+" .QuestionBody").css({"overflow-y":"scroll","height":"615px"}); }); However, the scroll bar is not visible until the participant mouses over the answer choices and tries to begin scrolling, making it a bit unclear that this is even a scrolling list. Is there a way to insert some additional code to make the scroll bar visible at all times?

Random Insertion of Stimuli in Pair

So I have 20 total stimuli (images) in my survey. I have one question where I ask respondents to examine a pair of stimuli at the top of a list then go through a scrolling list of the other 18 stimuli and determine whether the pair of designs at the top (Design A and Design B ) are the most similar to each other or if there is another design in the scrolling list that looks more similar to the design at the top (Design A) than Design B. The design in the top of the pair always stays the same (Design A), but I need the bottom design (Design B ) to be randomly assigned out of the list of 19 other stimuli. Is there a way to do this without creating a block with each pair then using branch logic in the survey flow? I am trying to avoid creating 19 blocks for this one question. Thank you.

Scrolling Fixed Pane in Rank Order Quesion

I have a rank-order question with 20 items in it. I am asking participants to rank-order the 20 items by similarity to a reference design at the top of the page (in the question text). The issue I am having is that they cannot see the reference design and the designs at the bottom of the list at the same time due to the length of the list. Is there a way to make a "frozen pane" with the question text and have the 20 ranking items in a scrolling list underneath in order to see the reference design at all times?

Carrying forward a slider question and answers for adjustment

Participants will go through and answer a series of slider questions (formatted all as one question with multiple sliders). I would then like to be able to pipe forward the same sliders to the next page with their answers and ask the participants to go through and check their answers and make any adjustments they feel are necessary. Does anyone have logic or JS to do this? Thanks!

Custom Validation for Drag and Drop/Rank Question

Is there a way to set up custom validation for a drag and drop/rank question in order to prevent participants from advancing to the next question unless they at least click on each item in the list once? I have about 20 items in my list.

Paired Subset Selection with Randomization

Here is what I am trying to execute: I have 2 designs (we will call them A & B ), each of which I am comparing to 19 other designs in paired comparisons. The respondent will rank each pair on a sliding scale from 0 (completely different) to 100 (identical). Rather than having each respondent go through all 38 pairs, what I would like to do is be able to have the block randomly select 10 of the 19 pairs with design A and 10 of the 19 pairs with design B to show the respondent. The thing is, I need the selected A-to-other design comparisons to be the same "other designs" as the B-to-other design comparisons in order to analyze the data comparatively. And, the block needs to be entirely randomized, showing the selected 20 pairs in random order. Is there a way to execute this?

Increasing width of the survey on screen

Is there a way to increase the width of your survey on screen? I ideally would like the images (which are in the "choice text" boxes) to appear to the left of my sliders, but due to the tight constraint of the survey on screen, everything is squeezed to the middle of the screen and the images appear above the scales (see image attached)--It seems there is a lot of wasted space. !
