Thanks for responding. I wouldn't be able to use the Branch if in the survey flow because I have 14 options and it's a multiple choice... Would you happen to know where I can find the Java script to be able to do the other option?
Hi, I'd like to achieve the same thing but with the changes to Qualtrics interface the cog button has been removed. Is there another way we can do this with the current format? Is there a way to do this with the form field, rather than a text entry response?
Heya, I think it's having the double negatives that's breaking the system. I removed everything in the survey flow that I was trying to do and thought I'd try something with skip logics and display logics in the survey itself which required "display if x or x is not selected" and it would show it even if you select x. So I removed one of the negatives and it actually worked. HOWEVER, I need to display if another x isn't selected in a second question and both of those questions should lead to a "sorry..." message. So I've copied the same "sorry" message into a new question and did the "display if x is not selected" but again having two negatives isn't working. Which makes no sense cause it worked before I started playing around with the survey flow! I'm just getting angry at it now. Is this a Qualtrics bug, because it's such a waste of time to have to play around with these things.

Hi David, Since managing a research program over the years, I've always had access to a branded community and I'll include a link at the end of each email for participants to check out newsletters and discuss results or what we're doing with their feedback. I also direct people to the community after they've signed up too.As Qualtrics doesn't offer a community element to research, depending on the type of customers you have, you could use free community building tools, like Slack, a Facebook groups, Discord, etc. Best of luck!
Hi Tom, We're not currently using the core xm product, just the surveying tool so we won't be able to send thank you messages as it's an anonymous url. That does complicate things, doesn't it?
I'm about to start a new job in a new company so my goal is to stay calm and take each day as it comes and not to be afraid to ask questions. Fortunately, a small portion of my job still requires me to use Qualtrics so that's something I won't have to learn from scratch. :)
My favourite place is the Greek island Corfu. Because I've been going there since I was a kid it's a little piece of home away from home. There's this restaurant on top of the mountain that overlooks the village and it's incredibly peaceful, with the sound of the beach and the cicadas. It's just bliss. You can really unwind and clear the brain for new ideas.
That is exactly it, yea. It just continues to the next question. But because I want this to be a custom end of survey message, I can't actually do skip logic in the survey builder, because I want that to be the "great we'll be in touch" style end of survey message. The last time I did this, I used the skip logic if someone said "no" and set up the end survey message as the "no" message. I then used a custom message via survey flow with a different ending for those who successfully met the criteria. I could try doing it this way around for this survey, but there are's a multiple choice question at the end and i think trying to set up this logic in survey flow would be far too complicated.

We're also in a similar situation where we are trying to encourage our product managers to talk to more of our members (customers). What we've tried to do is show how easy it is and try and encourage our PMs to change their mindset and narrow in on the why it's important to talk to customers. At the end of the day, they will actually save time in the long run by talking to customers and testing their products than releasing products that aren't fit for purpose.
