Possibly because you're on a trial. I have the fully licensed and I can manual change the subject title when creating a email trigger or I can create a subject header in my messages library to auto generate into emails.
Do you happen to have access to the template subject message? Everything else you're doing should work, so I'm thinking it's the template you're using. If it's a shared template among many staff it might have been altered or something was left out of it.
Your inline positioning is correct. It's your CSS that is causing the weirdness on your survey. I've done a test of this and it works on the Outlook side - so I think the issue is with the saved email subject from your library. This is how it should look: ! How does your saved subject compare?
I have found that the validation for emails isn't 100% effective because the computer logic is only looking for characters before the @ and the . after it. So an email like bacon@bacon.com will be considered valid even though as humans we know this could be a dummy email. The warning will pop up in preview if you entered: @bacon.com because there is no characters before the @
I often use this: "This survey and any files transmitted within it are confidential and intended solely for the use of the individual or entity to whom they are addressed. If you have received this survey in error please notify the system manager. This survey contains confidential information and is intended only for the intended individual. If you are not the intended participant you should not disseminate, distribute or copy this survey or its contents."
This might be a 'cache' issue? Ask one of the users who can't see the changes to clear the cache of their browser, ask if they can see the changes when they go back in now.
You could play around with the survey flow to force end the survey with a custom message. Ex. Respondent is asked: Are you currently considering harming yourself? and have a yes/no response. If they select yes than it ends the survey with the phone number to call a helpline. Is that sort of what you were thinking of?
Often survey preview does not update with each edit you make to your questions. You might even see the yellow banner run across the top saying ' Changes won't be live until you publish', which holds true for the preview function too. The only way to see the most up to date survey preview is to publish and then it will show you the live preview version.
@TomG thank you for this! I'm wondering if there is any other way to house this data with the email addresses. The idea of manually typing for 100+ individual staff and their emails is an administrative burden for sure. Is there some way to have this data filter in from a contact list or similar found on the files part of my account? Is something like this possible through Qualtrics?
Would this still require assigning a staff email address manually to a specific name? For example if the drop in has Jane Doe and Bob Smith. If they choose Bob, then I would need to house the record of his email address in the question itself right?

So it's not possible to hide the student side when the instructor does the retake then? If that's the limitation of qualtrics than I can certainly try a workaround. But I am still having issues with my retake link - despite the embedded data, it doesn't display the retake only questions at all. Can you take a look at my earlier screen caps and see if I missed something?

@Akdashboard thank you for the retake links info. I am still confused to how to build this into the survey flow. Currently, I have a block that has questions with display logic that ties into the student block but using the retake link didn't work and the block doesn't display. I figure the display logic needs to apply to the whole block not the individual questions and the survey flow is the way to do this but I'm unsure how. Can you provide more information on how to set this up?
