Hi Rod,What possibly may work is to create a new Embedded Data Field. Then fill this Embedded Data Field with the information of its original Text Field. Normaly the CR's are then removed autmatically and should you be able to update the original field.Can you give this a try?Kind regards,Nico Leussink

Update_Embedded_Data_Field_using_Web_Service.qsfHi Rod_Pestell,Of course I can try to help you. As fas as I know you can only add/amend Embedded Data Fields.I have created a short survey where you can test if this is what you want. A few things you need to change:Create a new survey from file and use the attached survey-file.Navigate to your account setings, click on Qualtrics IDs and find your API token. Copy this API token. Check the Qualtrics support page for more details: www.qualtrics.com/support/integrations/api-integration/overviewOpen the new created survey, navigate to Survey Flow, scroll down to the Web Service element, delete the fake X-API-TOKEN and paste your own X-API-TOKEN.In the URL address bar you can copy your SurveyID now and paste this into the field containing a fake surveyID now.Save this Survey FlowNow test this survey. You have to give in your own Email address because I have added an Emailtrigger. The content of the email contains a socalled 'Retake link' where

How to store data into a downloadable csv-file?

Hello Mishraji,Thank you for your response.In my opinion for export to a .csv file I have to take 3 steps. regarding the API documentation. The information I found using the link below:'https://api.qualtrics.com/guides/reference/responseImportsExports.json'Up to now I can't get it to work in my environment to get a csv-file containing all the responses of a project.So if you have a more detailed instruction this would be welcome.

Download responses using webservices in 3 steps. Please help me setup the right settings.

Thank you TomG for this quick response. But this doesn't help me further directly.I know to download responses I need 3 steps. When I use the 'Try it' button in the API Reference pages it works, I get 3 times an OK message. But two questions remain:Where can I find the file after the 3rd step where it say's OK?How does the script look like in Qualtrics Survey Flow?Can you help me futher with this?

Quotas

An option is to use branches. 1. Setup your question 2. Setup quota 3. add displaylogic to all options 4. Add branches in the Survey Flow tab After the respondent submits setup a branche where you check the quotacount. If quota has been met display the same block again. Because the displaylogic of each options is set, the option where quota has been met is not visalbe. So the respondent has to choose in what's left over. If you check more than once there's a very little change you get more than the quantity you set in the Quota. Below some screenprints: ! ! You can use the demo survey using the link below:

store Filename and UniqueID uploaded file to Embbeded Data Field

This is a bit complicated. Anyhow, I'm using the option 'Loop & Merge' in a second blok where in a first block I can choose out of 20 options. Each time when I choose an option, answer the questions (including the one with file upload) within this loop I want to go back in stead of futher. When I go back all answers are stored into Embedded Data Fields (using JavaScript) I'm having this page with 20 option in my screen. Now I can choose another option or I can quit this form. All given answers in either loop are then stored in a contactlist. An email is send to the respondent with a link to this form. Because I'm using External Data Reference which belongs to a specific respondent I can start the form again where at the start from this form first the contactlist is read and all Embedded Data Fields from the contactlist are prefilled into this new response. I could not think of a better opion having respondens choose their own order in filling in the form. Hopefully this is helpfull f

How to use retake and replace links without creating a new ResponseID

Hi @markmeadows, Maybe this is an idea: Store all answers in Embedded Data Fields. Then set a contact list trigger and store all Embedded Data Fields into a contactlist. Also create a random number and link this to the field External Data Ref in the correspondenting Contact Field. Also set an emailtrigger and send the respondent an email containing a retakelink including a unique external data ref. Upon opening the survey by using the link you can validate on the external ref. If the respondent makes changes in the survey the changes are written to the contact list. At the end you can analyse on data stored in the contactlist.

Color transition in slider bar

Thank you @Shashi, One last question on this which just came up to me. I have a section where respondents can set a value to the sliders. In a second page (the previous button is turned off) I would like to display the result in the same questiontype, set the default value to the previous question and set this to read only so the respondent can't change the value. How can I set this question to read only?

Thank you @Shashi, This helps a lot, but is it also possible to set this by each individual bar? In some situations I would like to have it from green to red and in some situations I would like to have it from red to green.

Change width sections in contstant sum question

Tried this. And in the build-modus this works. However when you preview the survey the width is displayed as default. And also when you use the anonymous link the display is as my screenshot. So there must be a different way to fix this.
