Has anyone had any issues with Qualtrics intercepts not firing as their site is showing Content Security Policy errors in the console? We are seeing this and not entirely sure what is driving the issue, but one theory is that our Qualtrics code may be capturing Google Analytics data (we aren’t integrated with GA...). Just wondering if there are similar issues out there and if so, were you able to resolve the issue(s). Thanks!
Hello everyone,We’re looking to program a new survey and as part of this ask we’ll have respondents enter a 6 digit identifier that will represent one of our offices across the country. We have an excel of the data tied to each of those unique identifiers that we’d like to connect into the survey data. So for example:Our location excel sheet tells us that office #123456 is located in Toronto and is managed by John Smith. Respondent takes the survey and says they visited office #123456 In the survey response data the location (Toronto) and the manager (John Smith) needs to be pulled into that response automatically for filtering down the road - this would most likely be embedded data.Now if we only had a few of these to build I could do this manually but our list of offices is 6000 long and there are multiple data points we’d want to capture for each of those locations.What is the best way to accomplish this? Hi everyone, We need to use a specific font for branding and I'd love to find a way to apply this to all questions and question answers (multiple choice, etc), but am having a hard time figuring out the right CSS to use. I tried to inspect the code in the survey to see what the question elements were called and I can't seem to figure it out...I'm sure I'm missing something stupidly obvious. Has anyone used the custom css to dictate question font/sizes etc? If so, what were the element name(s) you used to do this? Has anyone ever tried to stylize the embedded window that displays a survey (when that option is chosen in the Advanced Options of an Intercept action)? If I choose that option the window has a very harsh and heavy black outline and my survey text is larger than it normally would be. I love the option of the embedded window (especially as we'll have to try and hide the URL for a separate issue), but it's very clunky looking: !
Hi everyone, I know you can change the colour of the border of the radio buttons using CSS, but that is more of a global change. Is there a way to have it so that the first column is red, second column yellow, etc... Here is a pic of a test I'm trying (so ignore the text) but ideally each column of radio buttons would be a different colour: ! Not sure if that is possible or if it's a global change and that is that. Thanks! Kristy
Has anyone tried to pipe in a URL from a survey (we ask the user to provide a URL) into an email trigger? When we see a response come in the URL has all of this other junk thrown in with it so this: www.google.com becomes this in the email: https://clicktime.symantec.com/3G7DhGeNfNiJxkGCQrUMjcc7Vc?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.google.com. Is there any way to avoid this or fix it so that it'll show the actual URL? It gets quite jumbled when there are multiple URLs being entered. I tried creating an email trigger via the Action tab, but I run into the same issues. A workaround is just to ask the user to not include "http://www" but users might not always follow the request. We know the main thing we want to measure and we know we want it to be short and sweet, but we want to make sure we're not missing something in the experience. Is there anyone out there in the Qualtrics community with a mobile app survey running? Hi everyone, I'm just wondering if anyone knows whether the topics assigned to a comment are assigned in a specific way (i.e. by relevance, etc) or are they just assigned randomly by keyword? I am doing an analysis on our comments under our "Website Navigation" topic and wanted to see if the "second level" topics were second because of relevancy, or just because they came up second in the keyword check. For example, if a comment had the following topics assigned to it: "Website Navigation, Outage, Page Load", would it mean that the "Outage" topic is more relevant than the "Page Load" one? Hopefully I made some sense in asking this, in the end I would love to provide some insights by showing what topic is paired most often with "Website Navigation". Thanks! Kristy
Hello, We are looking at acquiring the mobile app SDK functionality and had one concern that I can’t seem to sort out with the documentation provided to us (that being said I don’t know much about SDK building…). We are looking to add in a survey intercept on the mobile app, but currently have an itunes rating prompt running, and obviously don’t want to bombard the user with too many ‘rate us’/’leave feedback’ requests. Does anyone know if there is a way we can control the survey intercept around the itunes prompt so that if they see the itunes one we won't bug them with the survey intercept? Looking at the documentation we have, it looks like you can actually build your own iTunes prompt in the mobile SDK itself (https://api.qualtrics.com/v3/docs/getting-started-si-with-ios#section-using-intercept-logic-to-solicit-app-reviews) so if we were to run the iTunes prompt through that mobile SDK, would there be a way in the code to set logic so that one or the other shows (iTunes rating
Hi everyone, Does anyone know of a way to create a topic in Text iQ based on phone numbers? Currently we have to read through all of our comments on a daily basis to flag any with contact information and then forward it to our customer service team, so it'd be great if I could somehow automate this using Text iQ (just the flagging of the comments, not the actual forwarding off to the CS team). Hi everyone, We have a custom HTML creative solution that is pointing to a div container via a hyperlink, and we may have to deactivate the current creative & survey and put a notification through to that div container instead, but I can't seem to find the best way to do it. My first instinct was to create a new Custom HTML creative to point to that div container (and switching the original one off). This creative would just have the notification message and some branding, but wouldn't click to anything. Unfortunately that didn't seem to work, but I'm not sure I'm setting it up correctly. Currently I have a Custom HTML creative set to "Replace target container contents", and then my intercept is set to pull this creative and is set to come up in the appropriate div ID. Does anyone know if this is possible with that type of creative? I know it is possible to do notifications with sliders, etc., but I'm trying to leverage the current set up as this would be something we need to switc
Hello everyone! Has anyone experienced discrepancies between what is pulled via raw data and what is showing in Vocalize? For the past couple of months I'm always a handful of responses off, either a few too many or a few too little. Everything seems to be aligned with dates, survey status (i.e. Finished) and anything else I have set, but I always have these stragglers in the raw data. For example this month I exported raw data for July 1 to 22, and I seem to have 5 less responses in the raw data than what I have in vocalize for the same data range/filtering. Hoping to shed some light on the cause so I'm at least able to explain any slight adjustments in scoring or totals. Thanks, Kristy
Has anyone had to run two active creatives on the same page for vastly different surveys? We have an existing pop-under survey to measure UI/UX scoring with your typical UX questions and NPS question, and use this as a KPI for site performance (we'll call this one Survey A). It has recently come up that we will need another active creative survey for an online chat that would come up as a pop-up and just ask three or so questions about the chat session the user just completed (we'll call this one Survey B ). Now I know I can control who is seeing what and when, and avoid, for the most part, a user being prompted with both surveys, but we're worried about the risk of Survey B affecting our scores from Survey A because the folks being sampled could possibly change. Both surveys will be sampling a random subset of our users so I'm not seeing any way to essentially say "oh these 20 people didn't take survey A because they took survey B". Being a postal website we have certain sections of the site where we get a ton of visitors and therefore a ton of survey responses for our site-wide pop-under customer sat survey (i.e. 9K a month), meanwhile other pages we only get a trickle of responses coming in (i.e. 100 a month). Is there a way to even this out a bit that wouldn't necessarily affect our scoring? The only way I can think of is by setting separate intercepts pointing to the same survey for each of the sections and having their own sample rate dictated. Is there a cleaner/easier way that I'm missing? We're not looking to necessarily have an even rate of distribution but just to lessen the gap a bit. This survey is used for KPI scoring so we are worried anything too drastic might affect our results. Any thoughts or suggestions?
