I figured out an easy workaround for this. I created a column in my imported data project that stated the provider was already processed and then in my survey flow, if that column was empty because they manually entered a new free response, then it would tell me that I needed to review that response.
Is there a way to ensure everyone who has access to my survey results, can have this screen as their default? See below. Mine looks like this every time, but several collaborators do not and they either get confused at what they are seeing or have to switch to the new view every time they access the results page.
JoycaV Sorry for the late response on this one. I just did a test of copying my survey and it DID copy my workflows to the copied survey.

Does anybody know how to keep a filter sorted when using the Records View widget? In the old reports, I could sort by a date and it would keep the most recent responses at the top. Now every time somebody uses one of the pages, they have to filter manually. Not a huge deal, but it would be nice to have this feature.
rondev How would I change the javascript to center a form field question? The code above worked for me when doing a drop-down but didn't work for a form-field text entry question.
Scratch that. I saw that I can embed a custom link through embedded data options in the content editor.
mklubeck So if I was to do a branch logic of "not empty" on a text entry box, would a click in the box still register as empty? I will do some tests on this, but thought I would ask in case you know. Also, do you know what regex code I would use if I decided to do that?
I will 3rd that. One of the most annoying features of Qualtrics. No matter how many ways I adjust things, I can't fix this. Also adding 1 non-global filter for Custom Pages would be a gamechanger for us!!!!!

This worked great, but how can I preserve formatting? I'm not too great with javascript but was trying to add some version of '.val().trim().replace(/\\n/g, "");' with no luck. Any suggestions.
ahmedA vI should have clarified that I don't want that text to be an answer option, I just want the text to be in there as as part of other things participants put in that text essay box. I realize that what I am trying to do might sound counterproductive and I could do this a different way, but its a bit of a unique case scenario where people will sometimes need to copy/paste some information from that box until I get a better API solution.

nicocastillo04 I have a similar question and was wondering if it is related to the upcoming release you mentioned. I have created custom links in my survey within embedded data based on a partcipant's stage of a survey. I display this in the Results web report, but it would work far better if I could use that link with different text displayed . Is this possible?

MattM I don't think it is possible to export a survey and have any action items copy anywhere, but if you simply duplicate your survey, in the recent months I have had success with actions copying over from the original.
Thanks so much everybody on this thread as well as TomG . All of your suggestions were very helpful. Here is what I found that worked best for this issue:PraDeepKotian_Ugam 's UTF-8 suggestion was key for this. Also TomG recently recommended the date optioned field ${date://CurrentDate/c}. This was important because when it comes to reporting it recognizes the timezone correctly. ${date://CurrentDate/DS} works as well, but didn't adjust the timezone. Here was the main thing for me. When looking at the dates in Data & Analysis it will just show the date "Oct 6, 2020" without a timestamp but if you want to use this in reporting or on export, whenever I added that it gave me the correct timestamp as is shown like in Start Date, End Date, Recorded Date which is also filterable. ${date://CurrentDate/DS} didn't adjust the timezone. The drawback is if you want to filter by timestamp in Data and Analysis but at least you get a filterable field. Thanks again everybody!
TomG Always looking out for me Tom! I appreciate it. I also was given ${date://CurrentDate/DS} as I ended up going to support on this one. It looks like the one you provided also shows the timestamp. For the one you provided, I am getting the correct timezone, but I used CurrentDate instead of Current to get that. Interestingly enough though the filter is actually a day behind, even though the timestamp and date match my timezone (Mountain) correctly.
Akdashboard How do you pipe Recorded Date into an embedded data field? I try to pipe it in survey flow but Metadata is not an option for me?
