I need to pipe some text from a previous question into an essay text box question input area and am having a hard time getting it to show up. I know the piped text is correct because I have tested it outside of the essay box question in the same section. Are there restrictions on doing this?

I'm not entirely sure what you mean. But if you are looking for "pre-populate" the text box with some text. Then default choices is the way to go.

+11ahmedA vI should have clarified that I don't want that text to be an answer option, I just want the text to be in there as as part of other things participants put in that text essay box. I realize that what I am trying to do might sound counterproductive and I could do this a different way, but its a bit of a unique case scenario where people will sometimes need to copy/paste some information from that box until I get a better API solution.
