I'm new to DirectoryXM but my understanding is that, assuming I indicate email was a field by which to identify duplicate contacts, differences in names wouldn't prevent Qualtrics from identifying them as duplicates to merge.
Liz_Franklin To the best of my knowledge there is still no way to allow dynamic filtering of public reports. The Qualtrics Dashboard feature can do it, but everyone who accesses a dashboard needs a Qualtrics log in which makes that not viable for many situations.
The documentation for public dashboards includes "This service is only available for State & Local Governments and Academic research products." So... it isn't available to the rest of us for some reason. 🙄Also, why can't we make password protected URLs for dashboards like the public reports (in the non-dashboard reporting function)? A ridiculous oversight for those of who want to allow clients to track results.
You could set up display logic on one or more follow-up open ended questions. Carry forward is not a great option for your particular situation (with multiple triggering conditions: "disagree" or "strongly...")If you wanted a single follow up question regardless of how many items they selected "disagree" for, you would set the display logic for that follow up to display if "disagree" or "strongly disagree" was selected (there's an option to set this logic for those response options across list items, just if they were selected at all).If you wanted one follow up question for each list item they select "disagree" for, you could either make a single open-ended question for each list item (using display logic to display that open end if they selected "disagree" or "strongly disagree" for that particular list item) or do the same kind of thing via a form question in which the form question itself would have display logic to display if "disagree" or "strongly disagree" was selected at all,
Reviving this old thread. Does anyone know a way to change the authenticator error message when someone tries to authenticate for a second time? (Not how to change the more general message when someone tries to complete a survey they've already completed without a survey flow authenticator.)

I find Qualtrics routinely works poorly in Chrome (usually from the survey implementer side, but sometimes from the respondent side). Then sometimes I hit an intermittent error with how Qualtrics runs in Microsoft Edge (like it not loading the survey preview page, for example) that I can bypass if I run it in Chrome.My advice when Qualtrics won't work in Chrome is to use Edge. And when it won't work in Edge, use Chrome.
Thanks, @AdamK12 and @MatthewM. Adam, I'm glad you found a work around! Matthew, I'm also having trouble implementing this solution in Reports. I'll post if I figure something out in reports and will keep this other approach in mind if my organization starts using Vocalize.
Assuming you're using the reports feature... Would it work to use a visualization of type "bar chart" rather than "NPS?" You could have the data for the bar chart be the NPS categories of your NPS question, and set the chart to use vertical stacked bars.
You actually have 64 photos (comprised of 32 pairs), and you want respondents to randomly see one photo from each pair, yes? If so, your survey flow looks good. Once you get it programmed, do a test using the Tools / Review / Generate test responses function. With enough test responses you should see a nearly even distribution of responses to "Photo 1 green" as to "Photo 1 blue," etc.
@Vitorrm, no solution that allows for dynamic filtering that I'm aware of (aside from the related work around mentioned earlier in this thread). Good luck!
I've been experiencing this issue for over a year. I sent Qualtrics support a message about it a while ago, apparently without much impact.

Try assigning an embedded data variable the value of the score at that point in the survey, then use branching based on the value of that embedded data variable. !
Hi @fleb, Thanks for the idea! Sounds like a very useful approach. Unfortunately I have absolutely zero skills with JavaScript. Using your code as it's written, should the manually defined embedded data fields be called "my_field0," "my_field1," etc.? If I'm off base with that, I may have to just hang on to this idea for a time at which I'm familiar enough with JavaScript to make use of it!
I experienced similar lag time last week when loading the basic survey response tab. There were only about 90 responses but Qualtrics hung on the loading screen for multiple minutes. I contacted customer service, they said that kind of lag is within their spec and so technically acceptable. Not great, but there you have it. FWIW, load times have gone back to normal for me, maybe your crosstabs load time will also improve, @BruceK.

Thanks, jpardicusick! That's definitely the back up plan, but it falls short when it comes to formatting, hyperlinks, etc. My first choice is to have a whole block of HTML display (or not display) based on embedded data values. Conceptually, very simple! But tricky to pull off in Qualtrics.
Resolved! I neglected to add these embedded data variables in the survey flow. Surprisingly, they still sort of worked then I set their values via URL (as described above with the Google link opening but only via a new tab).
OK, I meant not a "single personal," but a "single personal link." Oops?
