Hi all. I'm trying to set embedded data from a question that I have added variable naming to the responses. In short, I want to include the variable names as embedded data, not the values or the answer text because it has HTML encoded in it. Is this possible? I thought I had set embedded data up this way by selecting "insert piped text - selected choices recode" which means in my survey flow the embedded data = ${q://QID2/SelectedChoicesRecode} But this just adds numbers to the embedded data which is worthless. I've gone through my embedded data and it turns out this hasn't been working for a while when I'm sure I had it working a few months ago so I'm at a loss as to what to do.Am I doing something wrong? Did Qualtrics change something? Is this a bug? Hope someone can help. Thanks :)
Hi everyone. I seem to always struggle with this issue but I actually think Qualtrics is broken. I'm trying to create 3 different end of survey messages for a survey to help us identify the right pool of people for product research. I have the following survey flow which should work according to this KB. The problem is every time I test the survey, it's not working and keeps using the default end of survey message. SO THEN I updated the end of survey message with a customised message and when I tested it, it showed the Qualtrics default end of survey message, not the new one. Is this a problem I can solve or is it definitely a Qualtrics issue cause I'm going in circles and it's very frustrating. =) Thanks in advance!
Hi everyone, I have a bit of a unique use case. I manage our product research program through Qualtrics and when our users sign up we've linked the data to a dashboard. This helps us find how many users use x products and so on really quickly and easily. I'd like to be able to survey our current program members with a new survey to update the details we have about them as this hasn't ever been done in a few years. I know how to update embedded data but is it possible to update dashboard response data? At the moment if I link the new survey to the dashboard it shows up as a new user but I don't want to create new response, I want to update an old one. Are there any solutions which means I don't need to manually go through deleting response data from the old survey? Hey everyone, I have a question I'm hoping someone can help I have allowed a text box entry for a question with "other" as an option. This is for a multiple choice, single answer question. When I preview the question, the textbox appears under the whole list and I'd only like it to show if someone selects other. Is this possible?Thanks for your help. :)

Hi. When trying to import embedded data from the contacts list in the survey, all my embedded data is undefined. Is this something support needs to fix or is it a bug? Thanks =)
Hey everyone. I'm trying to create a screening survey for usability testing. If a person doesn't match the requirements, I want to take them to custom 'end of survey' message as a "sorry you don't match" so I want this message to be different to the people who do match the requirements.I know I can do this through skip logic or survey flow. I tried this once with survey flow and skip logic combined and it worked. But this was a simpler survey, and the way how I did then, isn't working this second time around. I'm wondering if I'm doing something wrong and if the first time I tried this was a fluke? ha. Hope someone can help. :) Thanks
Hey folks, I hope someone can help. If you didn't add embedded data to the survey flow when building a survey, how can you add in attribute / embedded data after you've collected responses to analyse the responses in Stats IQ or in the Dashboard?Thanks :)
