I would like to add a header above the left-most column of a side by side item, directly above where the question statements would go. Can this be done?
I would like to add horizontal dividing lines or alternating row colors to my side-by-side question. Does anyone have any code they would be willing to share? Changing alternate row colors in the Old Look and Feel editor did not seem to have an effect. Below is a screenshot for how it currently looks. Ideally I just want something subtle that makes it easier to differentiate the rows. !
I need to create a survey that will be used for tracking call attempts from a phone survey. The beginning of the survey starts with contact authentication and then a question to confirm that they are calling the correct person. After that I have a block where I would like to track all of the call attempt information (date, time, result of call, etc). This is currently set up as a side-by-side item. I need to track up to 5 attempts. The issue I am running into is figuring out how to save the information from the previous call attempts so it is visible each time someone authenticates in for another call attempt, while still forcing participants to go through the confirmation page at the beginning of the survey. Does anyone have any recommendations for how to do this?
Hi Everyone,This Qualtrics support page (https://www.qualtrics.com/support/survey-platform/actions-module/survey-response-events/#Conditions) states that partial responses will trigger actions if the conditions are met (see image below),I have an action setup based on ED and that ED is the very first thing in the survey flow, but these Actions are not sending until the response is completed. Does anyone know how to trigger an action when a survey response is started?
Hello,I am inexperienced with Javascript but by viewing other Community posts my team was able to create a horizontal bar graph that displays survey results from the previous block. The issue I am having is with the backgroundColor section. You can see I have 9 different background colors for the 9 variables and they vary in opacity. I need to find a way of displaying these background opacities based on how 9 different questions are answered. If the question is answered with a 1, I need to display the highest opacity, if answered with a 10 I need to display the lowest opacity. Is this possible to do? I have a math formula within an ED field that I am trying to round to 3 decimal places. Here is how I have it currently setup: $e{ round( q://QID106%231/SelectedAnswerRecode/1 * 2.24146232) / ( q://QID10/ChoiceTextEntryValue * .49 ) - (.017 * q://QID106%232/SelectedAnswerRecode/1 , 3 ) } The formula is calculating correctly and I am not receiving any error message, but it also is not rounding at all. It seems to always say either "unable to lookup your session." or "An unexpected error occurred." It happens infrequently enough that it is near impossible to recreate and Qualtrics support seems to have no idea what is causing it.

I have a check all that apply question asking what region someone is located in. Then for each region, I assign contact information that is region-specific via branching and Embedded data. However, if someone selects multiple regions I would like the contact info for both regions added to the same ED separated by a comma. Does anyone know if this can be done without custom coding?

I have a matrix question with only text entry items and I need to find a way to make a report that is essentially structured the same way as the question itself. See screenshot below. Hi Everyone, I think Qualtrics used to include open-rates on emails but they don't anymore. Has anyone found a solution for tracking open-rates within the Qualtrics mailer? I have a client who needs email open-rates tracked. I also have a Salesforce Marketing Cloud account which does track open rates, so I am seeing if their is anyway to connect them but still send the distributions through Qualtrics. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
I have a long matrix question containing several different choice groups. I would like to repeat the headers, but am not satisfied with Qualtrics options because the repeated headers are being placed in the middle of my different choice groups. Is there a way with Qualtrics or Javascript to control which rows the header is repeated on?
I could have sworn this used to be how the authenticators work, but that is no longer the case. Now when I send out individual links participants are only prompted to authenticate the first time they click the link. * Does anyone know if there is a way (with code or otherwise) to force the authentication prompt each time the link is clicked? * Does anyone know if this is always how the authenticators behave? Is there a way to do this? I want the mobile-friendly view, but not the accordian. My Matrix questions only have 1 statement each so the accordian makes them un-usable.
Is there a difference between an email trigger and an email task set up in the actions tab? Are their certain situations when one is preferable to another?
Or set a minimum column width. Can this be done easily? I have larger labels on the ends of the matrix and I don't like how they are impacting the spacing of the columns.

Our office has 7 different API v2 calls that need to be moved to V3. * addRecipient * getDistributions * updateRecipient * sendSurveyToPanel * createPanel * sendReminder To the best of my knowledge all of our API's are done through posting to the php URL: https:\\survey.qualtrics.com/WRAPI/ControlPanel/api.php with commands passed and parameters in the URI. The V3 migration guide says you can no longer do this. So here are my questions: * Does this mean we can no longer use PHP as part of our API's? * Does this mean we have to rebuild our API calls from scratch? * If we have to build it from scratch, what is the best coding language to use? * What would be the most efficient way of moving these calls to API V3?
