Widget showing text question completion rate?

Hi! I need to create a widget that tracks the completion rate for a specific question on our survey. The question is a text field, and I want to be able to track how many customers are answering that question over time. Basically I want to track the percentage of customers that have entered something (anything) in that field over time. My gut feeling is saying this should be super easy to do, but I haven't been able to figure it out on my own. Any suggestions?

Fresh New Features for Vocalize & Stats iQ

For our Vocalize fans, managing your dashboard users has gotten a whole lot easier! The new User Admin tab allows you to manage all your users in one place. Instead of just adding users one by one, you can now import a mass CSV - wow! Managing Roles is much easier, too, now that they have their own section of the product. And while I'm making all these hyperlinks, here's a page on User Attributes that has all the info you need to succeed. ! For my fans of Stats iQ, I have a question: have you ever wished you could share a Workspace? It's nice to hoard all those pretty statistics to yourselves, but sometimes when you share a project with somebody, you want them to have everything, including the work you've done in Stats iQ. Can you assign different permissions for different pages of a dashboard, for the same user?

I have a dashboard with sensitive data and want my user to only be able to see what pertains to them (and not other managers). However, I also have several widgets set up to show the sample vs. population profile, which everyone is allowed to see. These are on different pages. Is there a way to set the permissions so a single user can see 'all rollup' data on one page, but only their data on a different page? Thanks!

Response rates for surveys distributed from "action" tab salesforce link

Hi everyone I'm a new Qualtrics user looking for some very specific help! I have a transaction NPS methodology in our business and there are 14 surveys triggered based on specific events or interactions - these are all triggered via workflow rules in Salesforce which link to actions (setup on the action tab of the relevant survey). I cannot find a way to be able to report on or create a dashboard to show the response rates either per survey or overall. The distribution reporting in dashboards appears to only be based on distributions set up from the distributions tab on the surveys. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks James

Vocalize integration

I hope I'm able to ask this question in a way that makes sense! For our account, Vocalize was just recently integrated into the core platform. Not sure whether others ran into this issue, but this created lots of "messy-ness" with the organization of my projects in their various folders and in particular with where dashboards show up in the overall organization. My main question, though, is that some of my dashboards don't show up at all in the core platform. For example, if I look in the "all projects" view and sort to put dashboards at the top of the list, not all dashboards are listed. But if I click on any dashboard (taking me into Vocalize mode) and then look at the dropdown list of all projects, the missing projects show up there. So I can get to all dashboards, but there is an extra step for getting to some of the dashboards that I want to work on (or look at). I would love to figure out how to get these missing dashboards to show up in my overall project organization folders. T

Can we find average of the time stamp and display in widget?

Hi Community, I'm uploading Historic data...in which I've a Embedded field named as "Waiting_time" which records the time a customer was waiting until s/he was served by a customer care representative. The time is stored in the below format... 0:12:56 0:00:22 0:04:28 0:01:30 0:32:52 0:00:10 0:07:46 0:03:08 1:04:58 What should be the Field Type of this Embedded data field so that I can calculate the average wait time? Ticket Data Recode Workaround?

So the bummer of Ticket Reporting is that you don't have the option to recode values like you do in the Dashboard reporting. Has anyone found a workaround to this? For example I had one team absorb into a new team. We want to display the data from the previous team in the new teams counts. How do you mesh the two together for Dashboard purposes?

A way to create a widget or page in Vocalize that would allow a client to download in CSV format

We have clients request their survey data via CSV all of the time so that their respective data analysts can evaluate and manipulate their respective data. We are looking for a way so that the client would be able to download that info without reaching out to us to get it. I am referring specifically to the raw survey data that includes all the questions and not answers, not just what is displayed on the dashboard widgets.

Sharing Vocalize Dashboards with Non-Qualtrics Account Holders?

We have multiple stakeholders who I would like to share our dashboard with, but the majority do not already have Qualtrics accounts. Is there a way to share the dashboard with them without asking them to create an account first? They are all senior leadership with limited time. I don't want their first impression of it to be restrictive and admin-based, I want their first impression to be, "wow look at all the information I have at my fingertips!" Am I missing something? Or if not, has anyone else found a good way to have their time-sensitive users signup?

Download options for text responses

We use Vocalize to share course evaluation dashboards with faculty, but the comments are creating a tricky situation for me. I have the comments displayed in a response ticker widget, but when faculty try to export their vocalize comments page as a PDF, it only shows what is visible on the screen. As a workaround, I instruct them to download the _widget_ as a CSV and then save it as a PDF, but they are not liking this multi-step process. Has anyone found an easier way? Would another widget work better?

Is it possible to display a image captured using the file upload question type in Vocalize

We have a form where a user can report a found animal which includes a file upload field for them to include a photo of the found animal. Is it possible to display that image in a Vocalize dashboard (or any other report)? I don't even see the ability to add the filed in the data set when setting up the dashboard in Vocalize...

Creating groups within a field?

I have a number set field called "Course Number" and I want to group them together based on the first number. For instance, anything between 1000 and 1999 should be grouped into the "1000's" group and 2000 to 2999 in the "2000's group", etc. Is this even possible in Vocalize? If so, how can I accomplish it? Maybe by using javascript? The course number is an embedded data field so that may also be important to consider...

We currently use Tableau for all of our survey dashboards and data visualizations. I would love to hear from anyone that has experience using both--what are the pros and cons of each? If you made the switch from Tableau to Vocalize (or vice versa), why?

What is your favorite 'Widget'?

I typically use tradition vertical or horizontal bar charts since that is what most people who consume my reports are used to. However, I really like using the 'Breakdown Bar' either horizontally or vertically, depending on the text that is associated with each value. I like these because not only are they a little different, but you can use them in thin slices on your dashboard that help break up the screen for your consumers. In a sea of boxes with vertical bar charts with a series of 5 point scales, it's nice to have something that might cut across the entire screen or along the side that makes you stop and see what's different about this data. Keeps readers engaged, I think.

How are people handling response rate tables?

I know that they have recently added functionality in Vocalize so you can show some basic response rate data for individual distributions, but I need to show at the survey level, divided by our fiscal quarter. So I am still maintaining response rate tables in Excel and then importing to Vocalize and displaying as an image in my dashboards. Have to replace the table manually every week. (Doing this manually also allows me to exclude emails that came back undeliverable . . . I just subtract the # of bounces from my total sent.) Wonder what others are doing to accurately display this key data to stakeholders in the way that works for your company.

Combining scale points on dashboard

My CX survey has a matrix table question that asks clients to rate a couple of different factors on a 5-point Likert scale. I'd like to have the top/bottom box values for each of these statements displayed together in one widget on my dashboard. What's the best way to do this?

I have an "Other" option where I allow text entry, but when I tried to map my test responses over to Vocalize, I wasn't able to find a way to select the text entry box in the data mapping. Is there any way to get that data into my dashboard?
