Weekly Product Release Notes - September 30, 2021

The following feature was announced prematurely and will not be available in the platform starting October 6, as originally stated. We will include this feature in future release notes when we have more information on its availability.Creating Workflows: When creating a new workflow in a project, users will be brought to the Catalog where they can create a workflow from scratch or use a premade template.

Hi Chaps85 ! I looked through the history of weekly release notes and saw no announcements for a new Google Sheets integration. However, we have had this feature for a couple of years that lets you export response data to Google Drive as a sheet.

Classic Reports Deprecation

Hi JoycaV ! These emails are going out to two different people: users who actively use classic reports, and brand admins for licenses that still have those active users. So it's possible you may not have these reports if you are a brand admin.One way to check whether a survey has classic reports in it by going to Reports -> Reports -> the dropdown that shows the names of reports -> and look for the "View Classic Reports" option in the dropdown, as displayed in the screenshot. For additional questions, I'd recommend reaching out to the support team or your Customer Success Representative.

Classic Reports Deprecation

Hi mklubeck! Classic reports are being deprecated in waves. We are now in Wave 2, which ends October 31st. Relevant Brand Admins will receive an email and affected users will receive an in-product notification when their wave starts. Relevant users will receive notification when their wave starts.

bmcgrath Your assessment is correct! Members of a team and members of a group could both have access. If you aren't the member of a group, but you're part of a team assigned to a ticket in that group, you can still access the ticket. For now, one feature isn't going to replace the other.

Weekly product release notes are moving to Wednesday mornings

Eric_A Thank you for the context! We need to make the change in cadence from Mondays to Wednesdays based on internal needsuhrxx005 Good question. That page is still in use! We are updating it soon to reflect that it's more of a roadmap, since it gives a list of features that are upcoming, and to clarify that updates are monthly. It's not as detailed on what launched as the weekly release notes here in community, but it has more detail regarding what's currently in preview & what's coming down the line

Hi Eric_A - Qualtrics does not have a pre-determined release schedule. Our Engineering teams continuously update our production systems, running through thousands of test cases across multiple stages to ensure quality. We make a case-by-case decision for when to release new features

TomG uhrxx005 Thank you both so much for your responses. I have raised your concerns about updating contacts, and we are working to close this gap before contact list triggers are deprecated. If necessary, we will push back the deprecation of contact list triggers to allow for this improvement to be introduced to XM Directory tasks. I will communicate here if dates get moved as a result!
