I am guessing the Video is on one page and the next question is on a separate page? One suggestion is to place a timing question on the same page with the Video question. The timing question will not be seen by the respondent, but can be set to auto-advance after a period of time. Just set the auto-advance time to include the length of the video plus a few more seconds after the video ends. The auto-advance will move the respondent to the next page which has the question. This could save you from having to write Java.
If you are trying to apply the format across multiple text boxes, you may have to use an array statement followed by the 'new Cleave' syntax, placed under the onLoad section for the question. ```javascript var inputs = jQuery("#"+this.questionId+" .InputText"); inputs .toArray() .forEach(function(' .InputText') { new Cleave(' .InputText', { time: true, timePattern: ['h', 'm'] }); }); }); ``` I haven't tested this and am typing off the cuff, but hopefully it will give you a little more to work with.
You will need to add JavaScript (jQuery statement under "addOnReady") for the question that changes the color of the radio button when not selected (q-radio) and when it is selected (q-radio.q-checked).
I'm not sure the timer script could be applied to a particular block, just within the overall "Look and Feel" menu or to a specific question. Someone else had a similar issue. I have them too. It is likely a disconnect between survey flow and in-survey logic. Personally, I ignore them. I've tested my surveys to the n-th number of times and they work just fine. Realistically, it should be something that is reported as a bug and at least allow development the opportunity to see what the error is and fix the error statement ("invalid display logic") to better describe what is really happening.
I have not seen a demonstration by Qualtrics of performing a final conjoint analysis and then piping the "ideal" choice within the survey. From what I can see, this functionality is not currently possible - in survey. It is possible on the analysis side - post survey - but not IN survey.
In a matrix, you should be able to adjust the column widths, which may increase the drop down widths. (Perhaps not ideal for mobile given the amount of text in each option.) If this does not work like you want, there is Select2 java script that can be used. Try here, and adapt to your needs: https://select2.org/appearance#container-width

A slight indent should already exist for on matrix style questions (maybe 1 or 2 spaces). The question text may already be larger than the matrix options as well. It is hard to see what the intent is without a visual example of the present state of the question and the goal state. Here are some ideas based on your description. * One simple method might be to increase the font size of Q.1. * Anther option is to play with the formatting of Q.1 and a-c within the Rich Text Editor. * A third option might be to "Create a New Question" of "Descriptive Text" and place that above the matrix question. Add in the text for Q.1 to the Descriptive Text area but leave the area for the matrix question blank.
Your ability to have a custom font depends upon your Qualtrics license - which is a for-purchase add-on. Look here about 3/4 down the page under Theming for information on fonts (see the Q-tip). More information on Branded Themes can be found here.
We are attempting to do something similar with our inflight crews. The inflight crew fills out a Qualtrics "form" which informs the provisioning team (using Tickets or automatic emails in Actions) what they might be short on. When the aircraft lands, provisioning teams can replenish the items. Our provisioning team also has access to dashboards which help them see when certain items are trending on requests and we can adjust provisioning kits accordingly. We organised the form by Block. So in your case have a block for all of "group A" and another block for all of "group B" etc. Each block will list all items that belong with that block. You may want to have a matrix with open ended comment boxes that allow the individual to enter in the number of items (as you described above). It is then a matter of understanding how the data is structured on the back end in order to build your dashboard.
Documentation on options for exporting data can be found here. Another option is to load the data directly into your stat analysis platform. If you are using R to analyze your data, look into the qualtRics packages as it links directly to Qualtrics and does not require you to download the data using their export wizard. I'm not sure if this options exists for other stats software packages. Lastly, with large datasets, it might be beneficial to have a conversation with Qualtrics to see if they can automatically transfer/upload data to your own server that you can then query against.

This looks like a bipolar style question. Without creating some significant JS, an option might be to create a bipolar question with 9 scale points and hide the middle radio button. ! To hide the middle button, use the following JS in the screen shot shown below. ! What you end up with is a question looking something like this: ! Note that this code is hiding the button for one statement only. You would need a separate line of code for each statement. The location of the radio button that you want to hide can be easily found with Inspect in your browser.
You can make edits to any question label in Qualtrics by selecting the label, going to the drop down and selecting the Rich Content Editor. You can also provide the exact font size you might want using HTML by typing the HTML and the label right in the label box (instead of going to the Rich Content Editor in the drop down). ! Or are you trying to reduce the font size of the corresponding numeric values?
Sometimes when using loop and merge, branching, etc. there will be an error with the back button or the back button may become disabled when navigating between blocks. See the Qualtrics content on loop and merge. Qualtrics does provide a warning on their loop and merge content page: "You cannot use Loop & Merge to go backwards in the survey. You can only use it to go forward in the survey, or repeat a block over and over." One option you might want to consider is providing a Table of Contents which will allow your respondents to jump around in your survey - which I am guessing you are trying to allow respondents to do?
@Laureen To address your question, you will need to do 2 things. 1. To change the font color for "nicht beurteilbar", go in to edit the column label and paste in the following: `<span style="color:#c0392b;">nicht<br /> beurteilbar</span>`. You can also do this through the Rich Content Editor. Unfortunately, I'm not exactly sure how to make the entire column a separate color. 2. To add some extra space to the final column will take a little work with JavaScript. You will need to adjust the width of each column (minus the question column). To the left of your question select the "Advanced Options" gear icon. Then select add JavaScript. @melissa_b One idea might be to ask a question, "Which region of Germany do you live?" and give the options - Bavaria, Berlin, Saxony, Macklenberg-Vorpommern, etc. Then have that question branch into one of 16 questions that contain the post-code drill downs for that region. If that is too many regions, is there another way to group areas of Germany that respondents would understand - and correctly select?
The option to show both together under one question is currently not available within Qualtrics. We had a similar need for one of our surveys. We ended up showing two questions on the same screen/page - one question was open-ended asking for more information and the second question was asking to upload an image. You can create a forced response for both if you are needing respondents to answer both before moving on.
It may not be beneficial to use the side-by-side - unless you are trying to get respondent perception of the word as well as if they know the meaning of the word? If you are not trying to understand both, stick with the matrix. For the labels of "Extremely negative -3" and "Extremely positive 3", insert html breaks. For example `Extremely <br/> negative <br/> -3` Insert breaks in "I don't know the..." where appropriate as well. Another thing you can do is adjust the widths between the columns, by placing your cursor between columns and dragging to the desired width. Tinkering with this may not reflect what the respondent would see. So you will need to go back and forth between the Design view and the Survey Preview view. It should end up looking something like this: ! Finally, if you are really particular about the space between the values, you can presumably use JavaScript to set the widths for for each column.
If you have a multiple answer matrix table, you may have to create Custom Validation for the different scenarios respondents may select within the matrix. ! For example, this is one part of Custom Validation for what you are describing. ! You would need to create another Logic Set within the same Custom Validation for if the respondent selected 2 on column 1 and 1 on column 2, a set for 3 on column 1 and none on column 2, a set for 1 on column 1 and 2 on column 2, etc.
It's hard to understand the issue without seeing an example of the html or a screenshot of what you are describing. Can an example be provided (minus client identifying information)? Without seeing the code, check your angle brackets, opening and closing tags. We have done this, to some extent, with a few of our surveys. Could you not allow your respondent to go through the survey and depending upon their responses, provide one of two end of survey messages, "Sorry, you don't qualify." (fail statement) or "Congrats, you qualify!" (pass statement) ? For example, if I had a 5 question survey: 1. What is your gender? Male or Female 2. Question 2 3. Question 3 4. Question 4 5. Question 5 At the end of the 5 question survey you have 2 separate blocks. Each block has a Timing question and a Descriptive Text question. One block contains the "Pass" criteria. The second block contains the "Fail" criteria. For example, the respondent gets the Fail block if they select Male on question 1. The Timing question records if they saw that screen for that block. If the respondent selects Female, they get the Pass block and the Timing question for that block records if the respondent saw the screen for that block. In either case, the respondent then
