Is there a way to detect users who "cheat" and instead of resolving their assigned tickets, they proceed to delete it? One way would be to disable the option to delete tickets, but apparently Qualtrics doesn't have this basic functionality, and with hundreds of people being assigned tickets, it becomes quite complicated to track them one by one to see if they are deleting them. Has anyone faced this issue? and how did you resolve it?
Hi, I'm writing an email for a survey distribution, and I want to use a font called DIN, which is not listed among the default fonts. Is there a way to download it and use it in the email? I read similar threads with this issue but they were about adding the new font to the survey itself.
HiOne of our customers unfortunately on a CX survey uploaded to Qualtrics embedded data with a number of fields with wrong values. The customer asks us if it is possible to implement a process to change all the wrong embedded information uploading to Qualcom a CSV file with the answer ID / answer date / corrected field value. We opened a ticket on Qualcom support and the answer was that this is possible only for an EX survey but not for a CX survey. Is this so? This is not a feature for a CX survey? How can a customer correct mistakes on one or more fields of embedded data, if the error was done for a big amount of answers in a CX survey? Many thanks!
Is there any advantage to setting a field as Embedded Data instead of as Transactional in the "Data Field Mapping" part? As far as I saw, from the Survey Flow you can add Transactional Data as if it were Embedded Data fields, so it doesn't make a difference in that aspect.
Hello, I have the following situation: I have 50+ users, all with the same permissions, who have access to several surveys and dashboards. The problem is that this user base keeps growing every week, and it's becoming hard to manage. How do you deal with that? Do you create one account that is shared between many people? or is there any way to automate the whole process? So far I have been able to automate only the creation of the users by using the API, but I have to manually add them as collaborators to every survey and dashboard.
In our surveys we need, for each respondent, the date in which the survey was sent to them (not the date in which they started it). For this, I have an API call in the survey flow which brings me the transaction date. Up to that point it works fine. The problem is that the transaction date comes in the format "2020-02-27 21:46:20" and I need it in "27/02/2020", so I added a javascript code to our first question that does the following: var str = "${e://Field/transactionDate}"; var parts = str.split(' '); parts = parts[0].split('-'); year = parts[0] month = parts[1] day = parts[2] let newDate = day + '/' + month + '/' + year; Qualtrics.SurveyEngine.setEmbeddedData("DATE", newDate); This works fine 99% of the time, but it sometimes fails to execute and DATE ends up empty. I added UserAgent to the survey flow to see if this happens with older mobile devices but it also happens with newer ones. Does anybody know why this could be happening, and how to solve it? Thanks!
Qualtrics automatically generates Start Date, which consists of the date in which the respondent started the survey, but I need the date in which the corresponding email was sent. Most of the time the start date and sent date will be the same, but if the respondent answers the survey the day after it was sent, they will be different. The easiest way would be to add a field to our databases with the sent date, but suppose that isn't an option at the moment. Is there a way (using Javascript for example) to get the date in which an email was sent when a respondent starts the survey?
Hi, I have the following scenario: we have a Simple Table which has a ranking of users and their associated NPS. This table is for managers, and we want the users to be able to see, in another page of this dashboard, their position within this table (e.g. if user A is in row number 4 in this table, there should be some widget saying that he is in position 4, or that 3 other users have a greater associated NPS than his). Is it possible to do this?
Hi, I'm new to HTML, and I have the following problem: I've been given an HTML for sending Email Distributions. The email looks fine when opened in Gmail, Hotmail, cellphone, etc., but it looks bad when opened in Outlook This is how it looks when opened in Gmail: ! And this is how it looks in Outlook: ! Basically, the email appears bigger, like if it was expanded horizontally, and some parts of the design (not shown in image) don't show up well. It's basically broken. Did anybody encountered similar problems with Outlook in particular? How did you deal with it?
I have an NPS question, for which I added CSS to it's buttons so it has a gradient of colors like this: ! The CSS code that I used for the first button is: label#QID1-0-label.SingleAnswer{ background-color :#B61C1E !Important; color: white; } Before, when I clicked any of the buttons, a box would appear around the button, but now it doesn't appear anymore, so the person taking the survey can't see what they have selected. How would you do in CSS to add box around the button on click? Thanks
I have the following issue: on the one hand, I want to create Ticket Task and dynamically assign it to a Qualtrics user via Q_TicketOwner. The problem is that the database to which the survey is sent doesn't come with the Qualtrics user of the person to whom the ticket will be assigned, but instead it comes with a number in a column I will call Col1, for which I have a mapping to the corresponding Qualtrics user. For example: "04" --> "john_doeAt...". At the moment I cannot add this mapping as a new column to the database, so I have to do this mapping internally inside Qualtrics, but I haven't found an easy way to do it. What I did was to create a separate Directory, and created contacts such that firstName is "04" and it's Email is "john_doeAt...", then in the survey flow I created a web service that queries the Directory (using this API call: https://api.qualtrics.com/reference#directory-contacts-search) for contacts that have whatever comes in Col1 as firstName, if succeed grabs
Regarding user creation and management at a large scale (500+), and assuming I have used the API and have programming experience: is there still any advantage of using SSO for managing user creation? What are the pro's and con's of SSO vs the API?

Hello, I have the following problem: I have responses from a daily survey where each respondent belongs to one of several categories (more than 60), and I want to know what is the response rate for each one of this categories. For reasons I don't understand, the Distributions Table widget ignores all kinds of dashboard filters, so I only have the general response rate. I created a new column which is a group by and count of each category, so if in a particular day there are 20 rows with category A , 15 with category B, and 30 with category C, then the new column looks like this: rowNumber cat count 1 A 20 2 A 20 3 B 15 4 C 30 5 A 20 And so on. What I wanted to do is to create a Custom Metric consisting of the sum of all the respondents who finished the survey divided by whatever happens to be the count for that category that day. How do I do this last part? In the divisor I can only specify a Count, Min and Max or aggregate measures like Average. Is there any way to create this metri
Hello, I'm new to XM Directory and I have the following issue: suppose a client uploads a file daily to an FTP server with people to whom I have to send a survey. To do this, I have to do 2 automations: one to upload the file to a contact list, and another automation "concatenated" to that previous automation that takes those contacts and sends the survey. Suppose that before sending the survey, I want to do a random sampling of those new contacts. Is there a way to do that inside the automation? All I can see is an option that says "Which contacts receive a survey invitation?", which allows me to filter contacts with some criteria, but not to perform a sampling. Another option is to upload the contacts, then manually perform the sampling on the list, and then send the survey to the sample, but that would make the automation almost useless, because it would involve manual work every day.
Hello, does anybody know how to make a graph that shows how many people, from the people who have started the survey but not finished it, have responded each question? For example, 83% of the people made it to question 2, 57% made it to question 3, etc. Thanks.
I'm trying to create a new Contact List from a CSV file of 400.000 contacts. When I upload it and enter the contact list, in the bottom it says the list has only 339.788 contacts. There are many repeated emails, but I checked manually and there are 388.363 unique emails, so even if qualtrics if consolidating them automatically, there are still 48575 missing contacts. Does anyone know what are the possible reasons for these behaviour? Thanks.
