Correct uploaded embedded data for a CX survey. | XM Community

Hi

One of our customers unfortunately on a CX survey uploaded to Qualtrics embedded data with a number of fields with wrong values.  The customer asks us if it is possible to implement a process to change all the wrong embedded information uploading to Qualcom a CSV file with the answer ID / answer date / corrected field value. 

We opened a ticket on Qualcom support and the answer was that this is possible only for an EX survey but not for a CX survey.  Is this so?  This is not a feature for a CX survey?  How can a customer correct mistakes on one or more fields of embedded data, if the error was done for a big amount of answers in a CX survey?

Probably you can set up a process in survey flow using authenticator, where you can set conditions for your survey to redirect to the response submitted against a survey link. And hence the submitted response can be edited and re submitted against the same response ID.


Hi! I suggest exporting the answers, correcting the data and then uploading this new answer filee maybe in a copy of the survey as this duplicates the responses. I also beleive you can use this api call to update the embedded datahttps://api.qualtrics.com/2ced5de7dc638-start-an-update-embedded-data-job
