We have a shared Qualtrics account with hundreds of surveys. Most are owned by the shared account, while some others have been collaborated by other accounts. I am not a brand administrator. I would like to export a list of all the surveys owned and collaborated with this shared account so I can assess our surveying activities. Ideally, this export would come with more data than just the survey titles (e.g., creation date, last modified), but the titles would be a great start! At this point, I am prepared to just copy and paste... Thanks!
I would like to share a list of the links for participants' self-assessments with someone, who is inserting them into personalized reminders. Is there a way to export all of them in bulk? I know it's possible on the survey platform, but I can't seem to find this in 360.
Has anyone else noticed the removal of Direct Report from the built-in relationships? This seems like it might have been an unintentional change, and I'm not sure how it affects live assessments. I've posted pictures below. A colleague is submitting this to support, but I'm posting here in the hopes that we'll get quicker insight.
I have a survey set up with a couple of descriptive text items that display/don't display based on some logic and some quotas. I'd like to be able to export this information in the data export. Qualtrics support advised that I check the settings to recode seen but unanswered questions, but this isn't working for me, I think because these are descriptive text, so there is no possible input from the respondent.Any clever ideas on how to set this up differently so that it comes through in the export? I'm also planning to submit this as a product idea.
I poked around in the Qualtrics documentation but couldn't find an answer to this. Is there a limit on the number of embedded data fields you can use in a survey? Is there a point beyond which there are any performance issues?Thanks!
I'm feeling pretty dense here... but it seems like all my notifications in the Qualtrics community recently are random. For example, I'll get a notification that someone commented on a post I don't seem to have interacted with at all...no post from me, no star. I'm wondering if maybe I just viewed these posts at some point? It's making it kind of difficult to keep track of the threads that I'm actually interested in following.
Hi all,Does anyone have any insight on the deprecation of the results section in Qualtrics? I got notice that the results section was being deprecated, and I would lose access to old reports. However, nothing seems to have changed. Furthermore, in working in the advanced reports section, I am finding it to be extremely limited in functionality. I can't even apply a breakout to an open response item. So I'm wondering... 1) When will the results section actually go away, and 2) Are improvements being made to the advanced reports section? At this point, it feels easier just to export the data and create everything from scratch myself.Thanks!
I'd like to send a survey preview to some colleagues but allow them to "mark it up" to request edits. I've used this feature in SurveyMonkey but am not aware of anything like this in Qualtrics and haven't been able to find anything from searching.If it's not a feature, I'll submit it as a product idea, but I wanted to run it past the community first. Also appreciate any clever alternatives you might have. I know the survey can be exported for mark up, but there's really nothing that can replace the experience of actually clicking through the survey.
Hi everyone,We are going to be administering a 360 for two groups of individuals. For various reasons, we would like to run this out of one assessment.However, we need to customize our email messages for each group. My plan is to bring in group assignment as metadata, and then filter email recipients based on that info. I have a couple of questions:1) Is email content fixed once a mailing is scheduled? So, for example, could I schedule an invitation for Group 1, and then before it goes out, replace the email contents and schedule the invitation for Group 2?2) It appears there is no way to apply this to the reminders, without sending reminders to those who may not need it. That is, I can't select people who are BOTH unfinished respondents AND members of Group 1. Any ideas to address that?Thanks!
We've been running 360s on our platform for nearly 10 years, so we have over 40,000 contacts in our directory. We just recently had someone raise concerns about the fact that emails are so accessible when nominating someone from the directory. For example, if you enter the name "Michael," the first and last names and emails for ~30 Michaels show up. I don't think this has been an issue thus far, but theoretically, someone could "mine" this information. Is there any way to make this less accessible while still allowing people to nominate from within the directory? One way might be to make it so that you have to enter an email to select from within the directory... If there aren't any current solutions to this, I'll submit it as a product idea.
Is there a way to release reports to a designated person for each participant, without assigning that person as a manager? We use 360s for a coaching program we run. Our participants collect feedback from their actual managers, so we don't want to assign coaches to that category. But, we would like to automatically release reports to the coaches for the participants they will be coaching. Any way to do this? If not, I'll submit as a product idea. Thanks!
Hi, I'm looking for opinions from other users and/or Qualtrics staff. I love the 360 platform, but definitely get the impression that it doesn't have as large of a customer base as the other Qualtrics platforms and is therefore slower to develop. Much of this is actually evident in the community, where most of the input comes from just a handful of users. Can we count on 360 being around for awhile? What is the long-term plan for support and development?
I just administered a survey and am wondering if there was a more elegant way for me to design it. I had six blocks that needed to be selectively displayed to respondents based on embedded data (i.e., if Block_1 is not empty, display Block 1). This would be easy to do using branching. But, I also needed to randomize the order that the blocks displayed. That can be done with a randomizer, but I couldn't see clearly how that would play well with branching. My solution was to use a randomizer for the blocks, and then set the display logic for all the individual questions in the blocks based on the embedded data. It worked, but it was a little tedious to set up. Are there other recommendations?
We have a subject who was invited to participate in two different but identical 360 assessments in our account. (We set it up this way, because the second assessment is for reviewing progress. The first assessment stays open, because some people are still using that one.) In her portal, she accidentally invited her evaluators to the wrong assessment, and they completed it. What is the best way to transfer those responses to the other assessment? We don't mind doing manual data entry, if necessary. At first, we thought we would just add the evaluators and enter the data ourselves, but this would trigger email invitations to the evaluators who have already completed this task. We also considered adding the evaluators but using one of our email addresses, but weren't sure if this would confuse the system, since we are all existing users. Any other ideas or reassurances that one of these approaches would work?
I have more than once observed a respondent seemingly reading a response scale backwards — they will provide effusive, positive comments, and then select "strongly disagree" to all of our positively worded items. The most obvious way I can think to prevent this would be to color code the response options, where the most negative response option is in red and the most positive in green. Are there any data quality issues to consider with this approach? The worst thing I can come up with is that red-green in particular is a bad combination for people with colorblindness, but I'm not sure that would have an effect on their responses. This is probably also not something I'd use if I were doing serious research like scale development, but we are mostly just doing small-scale program evaluation surveys.
