I would look at the XM Directory task, which includes the ability to send an email distribution. This is what I use to send out emails daily. We use API to pull in our customer data, but then I have a workflow that creates a Sample based on certain criteria and then an XM Directory sends email invites to that generated sample. It has worked seamlessly so far. With the task you can send to an individual contact, a list, or a dynamic list depending on your business use case. Hope this helps!
I would suggest using the Side-by-Side question type. This allows you to have multiple columns of questions, each with their own set of answers. Looking at the example you provided, I think that is the behavior you’d like to have replicated. Below is a quick preview of what it would look like. You can have the choices as either radio buttons or drop-down selection (High School, Current). There may be a way with JSON to have the radio buttons display vertical instead of horizontal to try and condense the spacing. You would then need to set display logic on your statements (column 1 in your image) to show only if that option is selected in the previous question.
Very strange. Sorry it didn’t work for you. I tried something similar but instead of a SFTP was loading the data into an Import Data Project and it worked as expected.A couple troubleshooting questions:The second image in your post - is that referencing the SFTP task or the Extract responses from survey task? I ask because when I view the latter task in my workflow, I can see the csv file that was created. Were you able to use the Extract task as the option for the file to upload to the SFTP? Have you looked at the API documentation to see if there is a call that might be able to create this solution?
This is possible! You have to create a filter in the Data & Analytics section of the survey program you are trying to export nightly. You can create the condition you would like to have. Below I used the Finished metadata set as True. Once you have this filter added, it will appear in the Extract Survey Responses task in the Workflow. Hope this helps!
Thanks, @Sachin Nandikol. I was thinking more along the lines of an email sent to the respondent rather than internal Qualtrics users.
@Sachin Nandikol - I do have that option selected, and then the results do shift on my other widgets as expected. What I would like to see however is the difference between that filtered result and unfiltered result on the gauge NPS widget. So where it says No difference vs. Overall NPS (69.52), I’d want it to say ^ 6 vs. Overall NPS. I’m not sure if this is a feature yet, or if it is in the roadmap for Qualtrics. But I think it would be really beneficial when looking at some key comparison metrics.
I inherited our post-visit survey program for our guests at my museum back in 2017 and had very little background in survey methodology and research. The XM Community has been such a great support system in learning how to grow this skill set and especially when running into problems with Qualtrics platform, there is a built in place to find answers. For a few years our organization moved off Qualtrics to another provider, and I am so glad to be back to a system I find incredibly user friendly with a great network of power users willing to help!
Thanks, so Winter and Holiday are two separate seasons. We have Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall, and Holiday. I've also added Year after the fact since I'm using some historical data here. Is there a way to show the change from Winter 2019 to Winter 2020 or just have the numbers side by side?
Thank you so much for your quick answer!
Thanks! @bansalpeeyush29
