Hi @JoycaV, Qualtrics wouldn't be able to send reminder emails since it would be referencing the status of the dummy survey rather than your actual survey. To work around this, you could create an email template for reminders and separate mailing lists based on respondent's completion status. If doing through the Qualtrics platform isn't necessary and you have access to Outlook, mail merge is a pretty powerful tool for bulk emails. Cheers, Elliot V.W.
Hi @Pei_2009, Personally I've never had an issue with respondents losing their place in a survey when they haven't cleared their browser of cookies, but I don't have enough of a technical background to say it's impossible. To get a firm answer on this you'll probably need someone on the engineering team. You can call support using the appropriate number on the contact page (https://www.qualtrics.com/contact/) and they can reach the engineering team or may be able to answer themselves. Hi @JoycaV, Survey director is definitely a very useful tool in this case and manual distribution will get the job done. If you have a large sample and don't want to manually email the invite, I think you can work around the limitations of the survey email distribution feature. I'd create a dummy survey with email invites that hide the dummy survey link (as you've seen you can't send an email without a link to the actual survey) and insert your survey director link. You could hide the dummy survey link by making its font super small, changing its color to match the background the email, and placing it at the bottom of the email. Cheers, Elliot V.W.

Hi @JoycaV, The survey director can only generate links and isn't integrated into the survey email distribution feature. You can essentially treat as an anonymized survey link, so you could post it on a website, social media page, or integrate it into a web intercept project. Hi @Richurlex, So you already tried creating separate blocks (12 blocks total) with 4 questions for each poster (poster inserted into the question text) and the questions within each block were still randomizing? When you set up each new block, did you make sure that question randomization was turned off? I would also add page breaks between each question to ensure it displays separately. Hi @Richurlex, So using randomization within a block loses you the ability to present anything else in order in that same block (as you've seen). I would instead separate each poster into its own block (display poster question, Q1, Q2, Q3 repeated across each block) and randomize the blocks through the survey flow (https://uploads-us-west-2.insided.com/qualtrics-us/attachment/a4_cu0qp901d16x.png). Alternatively, you could use embedded data and piped text to show the displayed poster within a block of follow-up questions, but parsing which poster was shown to whom when you're reviewing the results would be more difficult. Hi @PeeyushBansal, This is a bit complicated using the base features, but I think it can be done. JavaScript would be a more elegant solution if you have those skills. If you have to implement the double click format, I'd suggest creating a second version of the question with display logic (If X is empty would be the condition) and a custom warning message in the question text. However, if you're comfortable with a slightly different format, I'd make use of the request response feature (https://uploads-us-west-2.insided.com/qualtrics-us/attachment/8g_wtz9qaiozvf5.png). For the email and phone format validation, it can change a lot depending how you're formatting the questions and what text type you're using. Hi @Dawn, I don't think this is possible to make a slider bar like this without custom code. The slider options are base 10 so X'10" or X'11" couldn't be entered. If you don't want to go the custom code route, you could make two separate slider questions, one for feet and one for inches. To restrict the choices, you'd set the min and max value to 4 min and 6 max for feet and min 0 and max 12 for inches. Cheers, Elliot V.W.
Hi @Trae, Great to hear it's going well! This isn't a very straightforward use case, so a bit of struggle isn't unexpected. Looking back I now realize I misspoke. I should've said the condition should populate the embedded data label if it DOES equal zero (https://uploads-us-west-2.insided.com/qualtrics-us/attachment/sn_eb0qoe5nr91z.png). The reason we need this condition is to ensure that only "empty" options are being filled. So the current set of conditions you have set up for the embedded data (If A is equal to 0 AND your choice at the selection was X THEN make A equal X) can't just be copy pasted for B. You need to add an extra condition which stops repeat value from being populated. For example, If B is equal to 0 (so it's empty) AND your choice at the selection was X (so the respondent chose something) AND A doesn't equal X (so B isn't going to populate with the same thing as A) THEN make B equal X (https://uploads-us-west-2.insided.com/qualtrics-us/attachment/aj_rjw1e3mx7iez.
Hi @dito, Here is a link to the restrictions they place on trial accounts (https://www.qualtrics.com/support/survey-platform/managing-your-account/trial-accounts/). Unfortunately, API is explicitly included in the list of extra features which you do not get access to with a trial account. If you're unsure if you have the textIQ feature, look for a text tab under the data and analysis menu of your survey. Depending on your license, it may not be included. I would also suggest checking in with your Brand Administrator or Account Executive to see about getting a demo or trial version of those features. Hi @Trae, From the look of things, you'd like to start with a multi-select question with 4 selections and then use the 4 selected options to populate 6 head to head preference questions. Normally I'd suggest using the carry forward or loop and merge functions, but I think embedded data is your best bet as this requires dynamically changing options. Using the survey flow, you can create a number of embedded data labels for the options that need to be filled in (A, B, C, D) at the start of your survey with a default value of 0. After that, you would create branches in the survey flow which will populate that embedded data (A, B, C, D) with the choices from your multi-select question if the embedded data doesn't equal 0 and the other options don't already contain that value. Finally, you can create all your head to head questions using piped text based on your data labels. Hi Kof, There is no way to get images to automatically appear in your reports at this time. I've experimented with the results page and met with some success (https://uploads-us-west-2.insided.com/qualtrics-us/attachment/b2_50shreqawvwj.png), but it doesn't seem reliable enough to share with any stakeholders as the formatting doesn't update consistently. Hi hrusem5, You can use the timing question type and click the "show timer" box to get it to display. The timer will always restart when the page is opened, so respondents quitting or refreshing the page can reset the timer. Potentially custom code could work around this, though I'm no expert. Hi DDS, Is this a survey that is integrated into the website through a pop-up, or is this a stand alone survey that you follow a link to? If it's a standalone survey accessed through a link, I would check off the "prevent ballot box stuffing" under survey protection in the survey options menu. Hi Núria, Qualtrics doesn't have the ability to automatically generate images for you. Assuming there is a finite number of results that need to be inserted into the graphic, you could use branch logic to display different versions of your graphic to your respondents. Best of luck, Elliot V.W.
Hi JFCHEN, Did you collect device and browser data? I don't have much experience with this issue, but that would be the first place I'd look. This article - qualtrics.com/support/survey-platform/survey-module/editing-questions/question-types-guide/advanced/timing/ - says the auto-advance timer resets if the respondent exits and reopens the survey or navigates to a different page and then returns to this page, so maybe the recorded time includes total time across resets?
