I'm a bit confused by the apparent changes in how we can visualize distribution in CX Dashboards.First I read this: Distribution Reporting (CX) (qualtrics.com). But this method seems deprecated:Attention: The XM Directory Respondent Funnel can accomplish the same analysis as distribution reporting with an easier setup. After August 31, 2022 users will not be able to add new data sources or create new dashboard pages from the Directory Respondent page template. Additionally, we are currently not enabling distribution reporting for any new customers at this time. Hi! We utilize a dashboard template for creating new dashboards within Qualtrics CX. This template consists of numerous pages and widgets, and I have translated it into Dutch by switching my account settings from English to Dutch.The problem arises when I make a copy of the template. Text that was originally in Dutch reverts back to English. This issue has occurred previously, and although I have ensured that the template is correctly translated in both Dutch and English versions, when making a copy, various widgets display text in English despite my platform settings being in Dutch.It seems that the reversion may be related to text modifications made on the front end rather than within the translation file. Strangely, exporting the labels from the correctly translated template results in them appearing correctly in the Excel file. However, when making a copy of the template, the first page defaults to English. Importing the Excel file of the template doesn't resolve this issue.I need

I have a global survey that collects data for 200 stores and a Dashboard with all the results I have list of 200 email addreses that each should get a user account All these users should only be able to see the Dashboard, not access the rest of the XM Platform Each user is linked to a particular store, and should see only the data filtered for that storeHow do I do this without manually adding each user and limiting their rights? Hi! We currently have several (CX) dashboard templates containing numerous widgets. With the recent implementation of the data modeler feature, we're interested in transitioning from using the auto mapper to the data modeler. However, both our own observations on the platform and information from the support page indicate that once a builder type is chosen for a dashboard, switching to the data modeler isn't an option. This limitation seems to persist even when we attempt to make a copy of a dashboard, strip it of all its sources, and then load a new dataset.Is there a method that allows us to maintain our existing widgets and custom metrics on a dashboard while transitioning to the data modeler? Rebuilding all our dashboard templates from scratch would be extremely labor-intensive. Hi everyone!I'm trying to find a way to share the Response Report though a workflow rather than the Response Summary.In the End of Survey blok in the Survey Flow, one can generate a Response Report and display it to the respondent.Is there a way to push the URL of the Response Report into an Embedded Data field which I could then use in a workflow?

Hi! I'm aiming to create a Workflow in Survey1 that distributes Survey2, to a particular contact from a Directory contact list. The email address of this contact is stored in an Embedded Data field within Survey1.My problem is finding a way to find a match within a directory using values in Survey1, then updating that contact and distributing a survey.To elaborate: Survey1 is distributed to a group of respondents and is managed by a Project Manager X, The email address of Project Manager X is stored in an Embedded Data field in Survey1. Once Survey1 is closed, Project Manager X should automatically receive an evaluation survey, which is Survey2. This evaluation survey should contain references to the name and other variables from Survey1.I've tried to achieve this by triggering a Workflow within Survey1 using a Survey Definition Event, and then distributing Survey2 using a Directory XM task. Hi! I'd like to send a thank you mail to respondents in a Directory List that finished a survey after the data collection has been paused. I'd like to send a different mail to respondents in the same Directory List that did not participate or complete the survey.Since the thank you mail does not work with an inactive survey, I thoug I'd do it with a workflow. Perhaps with a time trigger (that I then trigger manually) and a WebService task tha gets the List ID from the Directory.Is this the way to go? Or is there an easier method? Is there a way to shedule a thank you mail after closing a survey?
Hi! I'd like to suggest an improvement to the Dashboard Viewer that I think deserves more attention. The idea is to create a user type that is restricted in everything except using the Dashboard Viewer. This would only allow users to only see the dashboards that have been shared with them within the Viewer app.If you see the benefits of this, please upvote the idea EV-2403 on Evolve.The best way to do this might be to create a User Type that is restricted in everything, except using the Dashboard Viewer.Support repeatedly said this is not possible. I made a User Type with all permissions deselected, except “Use CX Dashboards” and "Use Dashboard Viewer-app.” In the Dashboard users environment, I made a role for these users that limits them to open the dashboard and export it.The first problem is that when the user logs in, he can choose between Dashboard Viewer and Qualtrics platform. This should not be, because these users only need to view (and export) dashboards from the Viewer app.T
What are some best practices for testing surveys and workflows in Qualtrics? We build many surveys and dashboards, and need to test the connected workflows with real email adresses. We also use the Respondents Funnel in dashboards, and of course Qualtrics cannot discern between respondent and test.Is it necessary/best to have a dedicated Testing Directory?Does anyone has alternatives, e.g. an extra embedded data field to filter out test=1/0?

Is there a way to get the Email Sent metric that is linked to a Directory contact after distribution into the Survey Flow / Embedded Data of a survey?In my CX Dashboard, I don't want to use the Rrespondents Funnel because I only need to display Email Sent and Finished. Hi! Is there a way to automatically close all ongoing sessions when closing a survey?When our respondents start a session, they have 1 month to complete it until it's registered as incomplete. When I close a survey, I want all these ongoing sessions to immediately shut down and record as incomplete. Right now, I change the incomplete time to 1 hour right before closing the survey. This means that if I close a survey at 13:00, pausing data collection, if someone started a session at 12:55 they will still have until 13:55 to finish it. It there a way to automatize this? Does it need to be an API (eg. api.qualtrics.com/33d67961b023c-update-a-session)?
About the personal links one generates at survey distribution.Right now, if generate the links, then make some changes to the survey (e.g. the text in a MC option or some styling options), the changes will not apply to those links. Is there a way to generate dynamic personal links? So links based on a Directory List, but that do not "fix” the survey to the moment that the link is generated?
Hi! I made a Dashboard in English. Then I added some translations via Dashboard Translator. However, now I want to remove all translations except the English one (US). I cannot seem to do that, not even exporting all the labels, removing the columns with other translations, then re-importing it. Is there another way, just like with the survey translations?

Is there a way to get the “Email Sent” and “Emails Bounced” metrics from the Survey Distribution into a Dashboard with that survey as data source without using the Distribution Funnel?I have a survey that's running, but I did not add the Funnel from the start, so now it's useless. I still need to get the Email Sent metric in the Dashboard somehow.I knwo I can add a custom metric with the static number, but that won't work with filters.

Is it possible to completely delete (test) distributions?My problem is that I have a CX Dashboard with a Directory Funnel that pulls all the distributions done on my survey, not just the “real” ones. I have done 2 distributions to actual respondents, and many others for testing purposes. Now I'd like to filter out all these test, but the only way I can see is to filter out by Distribution ID. It would be easier if I could just delete the “test” distributions somewhere.

About he (deprecated) Distributions Table widget. I have a CX Dashboard with just the survey data as source, yet I can create this widget and it shows me the distribution. I have no Directory Funnel in this Dashboard.I'd like to use these metrics in another table, but can't access them. Does anyone know how (without Funnel)?

Hi! I have a form question with 3 fields where respondents are supposed to write 3 associations with a brand. The goal is to visualize this as a Wordcloud in a CX Dashboard.In the Survey Flow I merge the results from this page, otherwise the Wordcloud widget won't let me display them in 1 cloud.My issue is that the Wordcloud widgets only accepts single words, so in this case it displays “Not” and “fast” separatedly.Is there a way to replace the empty spaces between words with e.g. a hyphen within the Survey Flow? Hi! I'm trying to create a User Type that can only access the Dashboard Viewer app and within it, the Dashboards that have been shared with that user. Nothing else. I thought it was as easy as removing all permissions except for the use of the Viewer app.But this results in the user just seeing this: Adding “Use of CX Dashboards” and “Core XM” just leads to a User Type that can access both Qualtrics environment and the DB Viewer. Ideas?

This is what I didCreated a survey with several kinds of questions and various combinations of question numbers, question lables, export tags (for Matrix) Created a workflow that copies the responses of the survey to a second survey Created a Dashboard, added the first survey as a data source (all variables in that survey are created automatically) Added the second survey as a second data source (with identical data and variables to survey 1!) And… the auto-mapping fails! Hello! I want to combine the results from 2 question in 1 Dashboard widget. It's not working out, so I hope you can help with a solution or a good alternative :)The first question is a matrix with 7 KPI's, which the respondent can rate on a Likert scale. The Likert scale is recoded to a 10-point scale in the survey (Completely disagree = 0, Completely agree = 10). The second question is a multiple choice with the same 7 KPI's. The respondent can select 2 of the KPI's he/she finds most important.In the Table widget, I want to first show the amount of times a KPI has been selected (2), then average score (1). I can't seem to achieve this. Is it possible at all to achieve this? Or should I structure the survey questions differently? How?
