Web intercept action set containing form token clause

I am trying to program a web intercept survey for customers.   I’ve using an old survey intercept that was created at our company by a former employee.  They have a clause in their action set that says Current URL does not contain form token.    Does anyone know what this might mean?  On our website, we have both a pop up and feedback button survey available.  I’m trying to figure out how to stop the pop up if someone has taken the feedback button survey and how to keep the feedback button active even if the pop up survey is taken. I wonder if this form token clause might be the reason???Thanks!

Changing color of the arrow in next buttons

Hi everyone ! Does anyone know how to change the arrow color in the next button ? I need to change it from black to white. I tried some CSS codes posted by the community in other posts, but none of them worked. I have customized the background color of some next buttons and I don’t know if the script for the arrow color is overrided by the background one.

Slider without anchoring. Handle appearing on click

Hi there! I want to implement a slider without showing the handle until the handle bar is clicked on to prevent any anchoring. Based on several posts this seems to work just fine. However, I do get it to work. Any ideas why?  Thanks a lot!

JavaScript Multiple Price List Question

I have a multiple price list question in Qualtrics. The question type is a matrix table and the matrix type is bipolar. I  have a list of choices where the respondents first have to choose between 10 cents or the product, then between 20 cents or the product and so on until 2 euro and the product. This looks like this: "The product" or "€0.10",  "The product" or "€0.20", "The product" or "€0.30", ... and so on until "The product" or "€2.00". So 20 rows in total. QID16 is the question ID. I want to edit the JavaScript to make sure only 1 switching point is possible and to make sure that when the respondent chooses for the money, the rest of the following choices will be automatically also for the money. So when the respondent chooses for the product for the first row, nothing happens, but when the respondent chooses for the 1 euro in the 10th row, all subsequent rows will be automatically selected for the money. Custom Code to Hide Scale Options in Side by Side Matrix

Hi, I have the side-by-side question below with both the statements and column options being based on display logic from responses previous questions that were “select all that apply” (which solutions have you used, and which options did you use the solutions with). Solutions listed in the statements (ABCD), and the options they use them with (1234) in the columns. A respondent may use solution A&B with options 1, 2, &3, but they only used solution C with the option 1. How can I hide or disable the radio buttons highlighted so that they don’t see or aren’t able to select for those?

Adding Time Delay between API Call retries

When we make API calls from Qualtrics to other services, is there any way to add some time between retries? For example, when the call fails, it will automatically retry, but within a few milliseconds of each other. This generally results in continued failure. It would be great to be able to build in a long delay between automatic retries. Is this possible?

Passing Ticket Data via URL Parameters

I am using tickets to distribute a survey (after the ticket changes status, it triggers the distribution of another survey). For example, Ticket A has 15 ticket data fields. When Ticket A changes status, it triggers the distribution of Survey A. I need to pass the values of the 15 ticket data fields from Ticket A into Survey A as embedded data. I am adding the data fields to the Survey URL in the invite as I should be, but for whatever reason, only about 30% of the ticket data fields from Ticket A populate in Survey A.  Here is an example of the survey link from my email invite: ${l://SurveyURL}&JourneyID=${tck://kv/JourneyID?format=urlencode}&BrandName=${tck://kv/BrandName?format=urlencode}&ProductName=${tck://kv/ProductName?format=urlencode}&ProductForm=${tck://kv/ProductForm?format=urlencode}&totalWeeks=${tck://kv/totalWeeks?format=urlencode}&ConditionPhrase=${tck://kv/ConditionPhrase?format=urlencode} Does anyone know why I cannot pass values for all the tic

Qualtrics Support Format / Language?

Hi there!Does anyone have an idea of what platform/language the Qualtrics Support pages (i.e. https://www.qualtrics.com/support/getting-started-qualtrics/home/) are written in? Like - how could I replicate the format of this easily? I am trying to develop my own support documents for various tech products that colleagues use and the layout of these are so easy to use and navigate. I’m hoping it’s something pre-built and/or easy to learn!

CSS Stylings No Longer Working

I have a Qualtrics survey written mostly with custom JS. Throughout, I use CSS stylings to manipulate the background colour of the page body. At some point in the last week, my CSS stopped displaying properly (having worked correctly since January). Below is a minimal example of my code; the issue is that the html, body{ } chunk doesn’t affect the page body (i.e., it’s white rather than black). I’d be grateful for any suggestions! My script: <!DOCTYPE html><html><head><style>html, body {  height: 100% !important;  margin: 0;  padding: 0;  background-color: black !important;}p {  color: white;  font-size: 18px;}</style></head><body><p>Some text</p></body></html> EDIT: I’ve tried altering the background colour inline, to no avail.

calendar picker with only month and year

hi all, I want to provide a calendar picker for month and year only. I tried with the code below:  jQuery("#"+this.questionId+" .InputText").flatpickr({    dateFormat: "m/Y"}); The outcome did give me just month and year, but the calendar that pops out has day.  how to display only the month and year in the calendar picker?

Hide SBS column - (not so) Simple Layout

Hi All,sorry but i have hit my limit. I’m too far in to not use Simple Layout or the SBS for these questions but Simple Layout is, simply, frustrating and/or my JavaScript is way too poor.I have forced response: 1 choice in Col 1, 1 choice in Col 2. But, now i’ve been asked that, if the last choice is made in Col 2, it should negate any choice in Col 1.i have tried editing code from here: and here: and even considered the @TomG code for enabling  the removal of a selection (it would then require their trust to remove their selection in Col 1 if they choose ‘exclusive’, which is not ideal but ok given the limited end-users) - though my understanding is that it doesn’t work for Simple Layout. correct?Either i’m not getting the element names correct or something.My preference is to keep it as just the 2 columns as per top picture, below, but would also happily move that “exclusive” choice to a 3rd column is that’s easier.Also, if anyone has any creative work-arounds that will work in-page

Do responsive dialog creatives impact JS added in the survey?

Hi there! I wondering if putting a Simple Layout survey into a responsive dialog creative, impacts JS applied to survey questions? My development team sees our JS is working as expected in the console, however once the survey is in the responsive dialog, the JS no longer works.Just wondering if there is a relationship between the two.

API Responses works for shared surveys, but not my own

Hello, I get a very strange API error. When I use the responses endpoint to write responses into a survey, I get the error message “survey not found”. However, it works if I change the surveyID to a survey that is shared with me. So I can write responses in shared surveys, but not my own (same brand platform). Even if I copy the shared survey and use the surveyID of the copy, it is not working.Getting the survey response scheme works for all of my surveys. Any ideas, what’s wrong. Is there some setting in the survey that blocks my request?

Accessing and Setting Default Values in Matrix Text Box

My question, in brief: how can I use JavaScript to manually access a text box in a matrix and set its value equal to a particular variable? Additional Details:In my survey, I have a matrix table with embedded data variables as default values. The embedded data variables are based on how participants respond to an earlier question in the survey (which I’ll call “Q1”).Upon arriving at the matrix table, subjects can go back in the survey and update their responses to Q1. If they change their responses in Q1, the associated embedded data variables will update. In theory, what I’d like to happen is for the default values in the matrix table to also update accordingly. However, I find that when subjects arrive at the matrix table the second time (after going back in the survey and updating their responses in Q1), the values in the matrix are exactly the same as the first time around. Sending email during in-progress survey using embedded data in survey workflow

I have found 3 posts, tag below, looking for a very similar request, but none of them include details of how to execute this. As a participant starts a survey, I will ask them to enter their email address. After this block is completed, I want to use workflow to send an email to the participants embedded email address they entered. I attempted to first use the “additional response types” and selected the “included incomplete response” suggested in method 1 below. Unfortunately, I only get the email once the survey is completed.Goal: once the participant enters their email and submits that information. I want to send an automated email to that embedded email address, that includes 1 piece of additional embedded data from earlier in the survey to be included in the email body. I do not want this email to wait until the survey is completed, I want the email to send immediately after submitting their email. I don’t care how I have to execute this, I’m just a novice when it comes to API req

Pick, Group and Rank question - Full time screen and change items dimensions

Hi All,I am trying the best that I can to have a full time screen mode of this question but i have the following problems that I am not able to resolve, any help would be much appreciated.The problems are:Change dimensions of the group box Make items and group boxes of the same dimensions Use full time screen mode and reduce the length of the slide bar on the right, so user can access to full time mode and do not have to bother to use the slider so many times. Survey Workflow, Export response to Excel use workflow task, missing derived fields, NPS group etc.

Displaying a Pdf in a fullscreen mode in qualtrics

Hello, I have been able to embed a PDF in Qualtrics. However it is not being shown as fullscreen. Decrypt files before importing using PGP option not available in workflow

I am configuring workflow ‘Extract data from Amazon S3’ by placing encrypted file in S3 bucket. But in workflow i don’t see option of Decrypt files before importing using PGP . This option is available in Response import automation but not in workflow. Any pointers how can i decrypt files while extracting from S3 bucket through workflow?

Allow extension to run for more time?

Hi @qHubert,I’m not sure where to direct this question, so I’m starting with you :)Is there any way it would be possible to have an extension run for more than the default 45 seconds?In short, I’m building an extension that would need to process a lot of users in a project, and perform various tasks on them. In my current code, I had to build in limits to stop the code from processing too many users at once, as this would mean the code would hit the 45 second limit and then fail.This means that I can fairly safely process 250 users in 45 seconds, but if the server is slow, then I can risk that this would not even work. Running this every hour would give me the ability to process 6000 users per day, but in some cases this will not be enough.Worst case scenario, the solution in that case would be to split this into multiple projects, based on country or similar, and then just set up 8 projects with 8 connected workflows that would then load 8 jobs at the same time on the servers.
