MatthewM okay, will do! Thanks! I wonder if it's just some intermittent glitch that will self-resolve. I think I'll tell the client to keep her eye on it and we'll see what's what.

Automatic distribution of different questionnaires at different time points for participants

Lisa, I'm not sure I know how to automate this completely, but what you could do is set up a Contact List Trigger so that when a person signs up, they are added to a Contact List. You may need to set up a reminder for yourself to send out the emails from that list.You should be able to create the automatic links by using Actions and possibly even sending out the surveys. (https://www.qualtrics.com/support/survey-platform/actions-module/setting-up-actions/)If the participant will be logging back into the same Diary survey each day and completing a new Block for each day (I'm assuming each day is a new block?), you'll want to set up your survey in such a way that the previous blocks don't display so the chances are reduced they overwrite their previous entries. Once the Diary is complete, you can set up an Action to have the next survey emailed to them in the time frame you want them to receive it. Hope this helps. Best Practices with Samples

I don't believe you can send reminders only to a sample. You might be better served by creating Contact Lists by each academic department. This will allow you to customize the email and the reminders for each unit. I try to use the Qualtrics mailer and contact lists whenever possible because it makes the tracking of completion so much easier, not to mention keeping your own Inbox clean. 😋

How to best address some questions in a survey?

@ashwinipn, for #1It seems you have a couple options. You can specifically ask their exact date of birth and then use math operations in an embedded data field to create their age; (Math operations) orThe easier method (although less exact) is just to have them enter their age.I guess it depends on how exact the age data needs to be. For the Powered by Qualtrics issue, I highly doubt you'll be able to remove that since it probably has to do with their branding and trademark. Are you using a template? We have a brand template set up and the Powered by Qualtrics shows up in the very bottom right hand corner, which doesn't seem very invasive. Is it showing up some place different for you?

How many branches is too many for branch logic?

How many of these blocks would the respondent possibly see? The survey may get to a point of being burdensome and you wouldn't get good responses. It sounds like a huge survey.Is there any possibility of setting up separate surveys depending on how they respond to the first one?

dduross as is the usual, rettweber is a genius with this kind of stuff. There have a been a ton of times that I've called on him when I was having issues with my surveys and his advice and experience within the Qualtrics platform was unparallelled! And although he's too modest to toot his own horn, he's a PhD data scientist and is an expert coder. 🧠🏆️

dduross wow, this was a while ago. I was helping a unit with the survey and I'm not even sure which one it was at this point. Did you try rettweber Accepted Answer? Did it not work? Where do you feel the glitch is happening? We'll figure it out together! 😎

Single question in bipolar matrix - loosing response options using a copied question.

Have a co-worker test it out for you and see if they end up with the same results. I wonder if saving your two questions to your library and putting them into a new survey would produce the same results? Like, maybe it is a funny glitch with the current survey, for whatever reason.

Did you do any previews that might have resulted in the responses? I'm wondering if talking with your email administrator might help. 😣 I wonder if they have something set up on your company's firewall that would cause this. I'm spit-balling here - sorry I don't have firm answers. :( Has it continued to happen?

How to set up bulk IP address restriction for log-in?

Hmmm, I see. Are you going to be using an anonymous survey link or a Contact list? If you were using a Contact list, you could add the IP address in as field and then use that as the Authenticator field, I think.The nice thing about Qualtrics is there is usually more than one way to get stuff done.If you're using an anonymous survey link, you could just delete or not use any of the data gathered from other IPs. After your survey is complete, just filter on the IP that they should have used, and deprecate the rest. Just ideas! I hope something here helps! 🤗

On an off topic, have you considered if those with visual disabilities will be able to read your content? Some visual disabilities make it difficult for the reader to access content that is not b/w or visually distinct.

Raymundo are you looking to pipe the responses into a different question or use them in scoring? How are you looking to use them? They will show up in your data set,¿but it sounds like you want to use them within the survey itself?

fayelam , is this for a range of IP addresses? If not, how many are you talking about? Might be possible to use a Branch at the beginning of your survey with the GeoIP set to your range or a Contains option. You could branch those that meet the condition to the survey and those that don't to the End of the Survey.

I think this should be possible using custom CSS. I personally don't know it myself, but found an interesting tidbit in another Community post:https://www.qualtrics.com/community/discussion/3872/formatting-styles-within-matrix-tablesHope this helps somehow or at least gives you a place to start.😁
