I’m disappointed there’s no response to this in a year! I, too, need to take a field that is ingested as datetime, and record it in a separate field as just date since Dashboard filters can’t use datetime fields.

you can also surround the response option with to keep it all on one line (no break).
I would use custom validation for that, with "is not displayed" for the hidden fields.
npetrov937 I don't suppse you have resources showing more on how this is done? I have a similar scenario where I need to 'translate' an abbreviation into a full name and this seems like the most plausible solution. I'm afraid I'm not sure how to go about initiating it. Thanks!Kate
Yes - the addition of the time stamp is new - though I don't think it's been fully ironed out, just yet. Baby steps :)
Turns out that capability isn't available at this time (I just opened a ticket for it); the time stamp can be present when viewing the "show full response" of a record, but you can't see them listed like you're proposing.I've added to the CX Dashboard Product Ideas for time stamps to be usable within Dashboards - give it an upvote! ;)
When I was doing this in POSTMAN, I had to create a 'header' with the X-API-TOKEN key using the API Token value found in Account Settings and Qualtrics IDs; if you don't currently have an API Token listed, you can generate one with the provided button.

dkennedy sorry, misread your question. The .InputText:eq(1) indicates the SECOND item on the form to have the dropdown; likewise the (2) indicates the THIRD item on the form. Be sure to also indicate with the S1 and S2 you see throughout the code, as well.

I have a follow up on this - it seems that once the page containing the form/drop down question is submitted, the selection disappears. If using a back button, or even on a summary page at the end of the survey, these lines are blank. How do I keep them without using embedded data? (i.e. it needs to populate on the summary page)
rondev Thank you - I do think those additional factors, like number of questions, branching, etc, will make that solution a bit cumbersome. By way of "work around", we're doing a response count at the end of the survey to indicate whether any answers are missing. Definitely not ideal, but should work for now. Thanks again!!Kate
rondev Perhaps I'm confused; are we not referring to the pdf that is generated from the response summary? I'm not seeing how script at the question level will be applicable to page breaks in the resulting pdf once a survey is completed. By way of example, these are the types of page break issues I'm looking to correct:

rondev Using a back button, or even ToC doesn't help in this scenario as you still can't move between blocks (or even pages) without answering the required response questions. The idea here is to be able to move between pages/blocks withOUT having the forced responses complete, but receiving an error if there is an attempt to submit the survey with the required responses not present.I also need to be able to do this on a survey, so would love more information.
jflowers1 I'm also looking for a solution to remove an uploaded file. While I can't find a way to do it within an active survey, I wonder if, in your case, you could use js plus some logic to do it. If there is js that can load the question 'empty' (which I assume there is - something in the 'onLoad' probably?), then you specify when to execute that (using the url containing or not containing ?Q_R), that should provide a fresh upload question on the retake.Hopefully that wasn't super confusing - and sorry it's only a partial answer since I don't know jscript well.
Geraldo are you still having this issue? I've run into that same error pattern occassionally, myself. Seems to save the questions okay, and then if I log out and back in, I'm good to go.
