Opt-Out Flag gone in Distribution History

Hi donnjak!The Opt-Out status was removed from the Distribution History as we shifted this reporting to the XM Directory view (you can view Opt-Outs in the Directory using filters).If you would like to see this functionality return to Distribution History, the best option here would be to submit a Product Idea to check if our development team would be able to make this happen!

Is it possible to export data from separate blocks within a single survey as separate rows in excel?

Hi NASA_BHP_Lab!The rows on all data exports are set to represent the individual responses by default, and unfortunately at the moment, this is not editable. I'd recommend filing a Product Idea for this, as it is not a feature currently being developed by our team!

Distinguish between "no response" and "not applicable" on slider scale?

Hi cjenkins!Non-applicable responses are given the setting "Exclude from Analysis" by default. You are able to change this setting however, so that the NA response does actually get recorded! I'd recommend following the linked support page for a step-by-step guide on this.

Email tasks only accepting piped text or embedded data 1024 characters in length or less

Hi Rod_Pestell!I've had experience with a similar 1024 character limit in place for redirect links carrying over from stack overflow limitations. Because this limit is exactly the same, my assumption would be that email tasks/piped text have the same limit.With regards to the 20,000 character limit, this is tied to an open text response, which is treated differently as it is entered by the respondent during the survey session, not something set up on the back-end.If you'd like a better explanation than I'm able to provide here, 😅I'd recommend reaching out to Qualtrics Support so that they can check this theory with our internal team.

Multiple Match Handling Quota selection

Hi MacTR!I'm not entirely familiar with this set-up and what's needing to be accomplished, but perhaps it would be good to set the embedded data values separately from the Quotas, but still using the same logic that assigns them to the Quotas.If this is not going to be possible, I'd recommend reaching out to Qualtrics Support to take a closer look!

Adding Recorded Date to Report

Hi Madgator!I'd recommend using a Results Table in order to achieve this! That visualization type can include multiple fields of your choosing, including the RecordedDate field. You may also need to add a new page on your existing report in order to insert the table. The support page I've linked above should be able to act as a good step-by-step guide!

If I duplicate a Survey, how do I duplicate any Dashboards to only look at responses for the Dupe?

Hi SedonaFlute!Copying a dashboard can be done in the two quick steps illustrated above. Once you have the dashboard copy, I would go into the Dashboard settings and map in your ReviewOnly survey copy as a new data source, then remove the original DEV survey source.

Integration of operational 'O' data

Hi Chrisflyer!A CX dashboard can handle multiple data sources at a time in order to report on any number of operational metrics. You'll only have to figure out how to map that O data into the dashboard, which may be best done by using the CSV Import process.We do also have an integration with Tableau in order to display Qualtrics data in Tableau. This may be even easier to set up, although it would likely require an add-on purchase to your existing license.

Language of Export in SPSS

Hi GlockiGlocksen! We are currently only able to export a survey in the language it was created in, which is labelled under the Survey Experience section of the Survey Options. This is the default language for the survey so all exports would be done in this language.If you'd like to see a functionality added in the future to allow for multiple export languages, I'd recommend submitting a Product Idea for it! :)

Email Trigger Limit

Hi gflure! The deprecation of the Email Trigger feature was announced here on the Qualtrics Community site. Starting August 31st, users will no longer be able to create new email triggers and by late fall 2020 we will phase out existing triggers as well. This means now's the time to move your existing triggers over to the Actions tab and learn about using Email Tasks!

Obtaining IP addresses with Anonymize option selected

According to our support page on Anonymizing Responses, the only way to recover the IP address data is in the case that the Anonymize Responses setting was turned on after the responses were collected. Looping through one block with loop and merge

Hi ShiraW! I think a good potential option here would be to use a Survey Redirect Link to send your respondents back to the beginning of the survey, so that they can try out the other options. When used in conjunction with Query Strings, you may be able to pass information from the first survey session to the next ones. So the only current option would be to create the conditions for multiple actions as you described.
