Want choice text and not choice numbers in Excel exports

Trying to use Drag & Drop choices so people can rank their preferences. When the survey is complete I would like to get my results in and Excel or CSV and have “human readable” data for each line - but I am only able to get the numbers of the choices and not the actual text. So for example I want to see:   Dave - pizza, ice cream, sushi, popcorn Lisa - popcorn, sushi, pizza, ice cream Ralph - ice cream, pizza, popcorn, sushi   But instead I’m getting: Dave- 1,4,2,3 Lisa - 4,2,1,3 Ralph - 4,2,3,1   When exporting the file under Data & Analysis, I choose “Download all fields” and “Use choice text” (instead of Use numeric values) -- But I still get numbers for each question in my Excel sheet.   Any tips? it shouldn’t be the case. Better clear your history for few days and try it again or try different browser. “Use choice text” option will always give you texts instead of numbers.

Dear Arun,   Thanks a lot for your suggestion and the effort. Unfortunately, I have a very complex questionnaire which already has a very high number of embedded data. Therefore, I am trying to reduce the number of embdded data that I create as much as I can. Do you have any idea about other type of solutions, without using javascript? Thanks again :) Hi @Vi86 , Embedded fields will not impact on your survey you can use as much as you can. other way is using hidden questions. that option is much worse than embedded field. I would suggest you to avoid less questions and more embedded fields instead. another way is that you can use web service and can use json with get and post method to pull and push the information from your survey to database then pick 1 random value from each grocery group and store it back in survey embedded field (still embedded fields will require). But that is more time taking, lengthy process and can slow your project if database service will down. Always prefe

randomising options within a question

You can simply create three randomizer before the question. one for coffee, one for Squash and one for Fruit juice. As per below screenshots.   Then you can apply display logic on each option.Question is:   No display logic on none. you will get all different 84 combination.Output will look like:12 3 If I’m understanding it correctly, you are looking for same solution. In which no need of java script.

Hi @MadhurSingh ,I’m understanding it correctly, you want to hide forward button till last card of carousel. Responses for open ended question not showing up

@Sachin Nandikol has already clarified the resolution. Just to add those have already started the survey before publish will not see that Open end question. it will appear to only those who will click on the survey link after publish.

Should I export all survey responses to another platform like Salesforce or keep them in Qualtrics?

you can use data extract workflow or response export API for that.

Can my collaborators access my surveys when my account is deleted?

Better transfer the ownership of the project and workflow before deleting your account. You can ask your account brand administrator to access your account from user tab under Admin module and transfer all the surveys and workflow at once to themselves or to other responsible person at once.   Else the brand admin can open it user, the click on User  name, the one pop up wizard will open. then click on “View Account Use Info”. Then another pop up window will appear, then he can transfer project one by one from that window. first pop up2nd pop up. It is import to change the ownership before deleting account. else you will lose the access of directory automation.

hi Leo, In page display logic can be applied on Question level only. you cannot apply this on option level. If you can break your matrix row as question ( means, instead of creating multiple rows you can create multiple questions, i.e. separate question for each row) then can apply display logic on each question.Else if you want to do this on single matrix so there no such option available within tool and you will have to achieve this via JS.

Hi  @ArunDubey Thanks for your quick response, In dashboard I hided filters for all the participants but as per our requirement we need to show filters for one particular person. Is it possible? Hi @sahana , yes, you can create group and move that person in new group. And what ever permission you want to assign to group. You can..

Pill button doesn’t work on email invite page. you can create box for anchor tag and customize css to look it like button.  Have you perhaps ever created a pill button that works with the personalised survey links?

If I don’t need the piped text in the survey, but say in a follow up email, I could then move this to the end? Yes, since follow up email will be sent after survey completion. So you can do this.

I can see any anchor tag and a:visisted css in that code. you cannot move it. it is required just after the question if you want to show the piped text in after that multi text question.

You cannot use back button after separating blocks. You can use JS but that will be to complex.
