I am setting up an in-store survey where I want to get respondents to take photos of pictures/products etc. as part of the questionnaire process:Example:Please take a photo of the product that stands out the most (PHOTO) Please tell us why you selected this product (OPEN) Please take a photograph of the complete product display (PHOTO) How would you rate the product display? (RATING) Why did you give the display that rating (OPEN)etc.Is there a way that this can be done smoothly (from the respondent perspective):Answer question Take photo Answer question etc.Any help and advice is appreciated!
I have a survey with several grid questions and I would like to be able to display the responses in one table, more or less the same as the grid looks in the survey (statements in rows, options in columns, answers as %) I have tried all the table options within dashboard and can’t seem to make any of them work in the way that I would like. The only option I have at the moment is to show them as individual charts, one per statement, which is rather tedious. Does anyone have the knowledge I seek? Thanks in advance!
Hi thereI much prefer the ranking option in ‘Pick, Group, Rank’ as it is more likely (IMO) to encourage respondents to give a faithful ranking of choices than the other ranking options available in Qualtrics. The challenge is the inability to pipe the response (usually the choice ranked first) into a follow up question such as ‘Why did you choose [Item ranked first] as your most preferred flavour?I have looked around the help files and the community (and also discussed with Qualtrics support) but I can’t find a way to identify which item was ranked first.Can anyone please help me?Thanks in advance.
At the moment there are 4 options for a ranking question:Drag and Drop - nice for respondents, but you only have to move one item to get through the questionRadio Buttons - can’t skip without ranking everything, not great on mobile if there are 10+ optionsSelect Box - again you only need to move one item to get through the questionText Box - clumsy for the respondent but can’t skip without ranking everything (this is the one I tend to use) I have seen another way to set up this question (in Alchemer) which is to have 2 boxes and the respondent moves items from one box to the other in rank order (which can still be changed in the second box), it is easy for respondents, all items need to be ranked and it doesn’t take up too much screen space (especially on mobile). I would love to have something like this in Qualtrics and my questions are:Has anyone created some code to display the question as outlined? I am conducting a survey in several countries and in different languages. I have hidden the language dropdown and have been using Q_Language=EN (for example) in the survey link to set the language for each country.Canada is part of the survey and I want Canadians to choose English or French as they wish so I have added in a question at the very beginning of the survey (visible to Canadians only) which asks which is their preferred language.If they choose (for example) French I have set up a branch and set the embedded to Q_Language = FR-CA.Trouble is it doesn’t work. The survey continues in English even though I have added a French Canadian translation.Any idea why it doesn’t work - can Q_Language be changed once the survey has started?Is there another way of achieving the same result, i.e. Canadians (only) having the ability to choose English or French?Many thanks in advance.
I have a survey in 3 languages and in one question, I show 2 images and ask which one is preferred. The images have text on them so I have translations for each, making 6 images in total:Image 1 in English Image 2 in English Image 1 in Spanish Image 2 in Spanish Image 1 in Italian Image 2 in ItalianI have imported a translation for each language but I am only able to add in 2 images to the survey builder (the English ones), I have not been able to find a way to add the relevant images to show in Italian and Spanish. In the translation view, there is no place to add the images with translated text.Can anyone help please?Thanks in advance
I have a looped block which has a maximum of 9 loops (each loop is asking the identity of a family member, the answers are mother, father, brother etc.)Ideally I would like to show all responses on one page so that they can check they have done the whole family (some loop responses can be the same - multiple brothers or sisters etc.)Can I display all the blocks on one page?Thanks in advance!

I have a survey where it's important for (panel) respondents to read something (its a proposition they need to express opinions on).I have set up the question as Text with a timer of 20 seconds. The countdown is visible at the top of the text and respondents are told that it's important for them to read the text and that the 'Next' button won't appear until the 20 seconds are up. The text itself is only a couple of sentences.I have been reviewing the number of clicks on this page and the average, median and mode are all 5, meaning that the average respondent clicked the page 5 times even though there's a countdown and the Next button is not visible!15% of my sample have clicked 10 or more times!My question is:Has anyone used the Click Count as a way of checking quality and engagement?Any thoughts on the more general issue of engagement?(My survey takes about 7-8 minutes and is not 'boring')
I do a lot of multi-country studies and when asking about income, I set up individual questions for each country and use display logic such as Country=USA etc. to show the correct currency, e.g. USDIn Switzerland, there are 3 spoken languages (IT, DE, FR) and I want to give respondents the opportunity to answer in their preferred language and see their currency (CHF). The study is also being conducted in Germany and France where people can answer in their chosen language and see their currency (EUR).My challenge is to allow people to choose their language and see their own currency questions in their own language. If I set up 3 currency questions for Switzerland in IT/FR and DE, if I make all languages 'visible' how do I know which language someone has chosen to do the survey in so that I can show the correct language for the currency question?Alternatively, is it possible to ask Swiss people which language they would prefer and use this choice to a) deliver the survey in the chosen l
In Builder I can only see question numbers but when piping for example, there are also QIDs - is it possible to see both in the Builder?Also, on the translation export, only the QID is shown and not the question number. Is it possible to see both on the export?
The straightlining tool detects respondents who have straightlined several matrix questions in the questionnaire. However, it's a bit of a blunt instrument in that it evaluates all matrix questions, even those where straightlining would be a valid response.My question is 'Is it possible to select which matrix questions are used in the straightlining evaluation?'
