@Salim , Add “useLabels” parameter to API body and set it to ‘true’. This helps to export the answer choices in text values instead of recoded values. By default “useLabels” will be false.

It can be used only if the user has not generated a API token before.Instead, you can follow the below steps:Step 1: Retirve the API token of different users using get user API token by passing the user idStep 2: Get the list of surveys using the API token retrieved from step 1.
@four77 , We have multiple ways to edit the response.Edit it manually and Publish the changes from Data and Analysis tab Edit the answers to survey question using the retake link Edit the responses (Embedded data values) using “Survey response Update API”. Using the Qualtrics API, survey responses can be updated in bulk as well. API to update single response API to update responses in batch
@dbull , Try mapping the survey id is of each account with some common value in dashboarding mapping. Example, Create a field “Accounts” in dashboard mapping and map the survey id to the field. Then, if there are 4 surveys distributed from A account, map all 4 surveys to a common value say “Account 1” in dashboard mapping. Similary for all surveys from different accounts. Then Create a widget with Response rate as metric and Accounts as X Axis/Data series.

@LeslieS Even when we export using API, the user defined question id’s will be exported. The exported file using API and manual export from Data and analysis tab will have same headers.As you can see in the below image, Q1 is the user defined question id whereas {"ImportId":"QID2"} is the internal qurstion id. (This is export file using respomse export API)
@cmagg Add a new block with 2 questions, one Timer question and another text/graphic question.Place this block at start of survey. Set the timmer to 0.01ms in timing question and write a script in text/graphic question to hide the next button. So that this block will not be displayed to the respondent. This helps in recording the survey response without answering any questions while using anonymous link. Note: Response will be recorded only if the option to record the incomplete survey response is enabled in survey options » responses. Let me know if this works for you.

@Erikahuer Create the embedded field in survey flow and publish the survey.Then export the responses from data and analysis tab. Delete the fields that is not required and just keep the field to be updated and the response id.Now, use the batch Survey response update API “api.qualtrics.com/2ced5de7dc638-start-an-update-embedded-data-job” or run update single response api api.qualtrics.com/daed82306b1ea-update-response in postman collection to update all the responses.
Create a Yes/No question and set “No” as a default choice. If the customer has consent to follow up then they can update it as Yes and submit the survey. If not by default the survey response will be recorded as No.

Whenever you trigger the survey to teacher, include the Response ID as a query parameter in Teachers survey invite link. Then, store this response id of student survey in teachers survey. Configure a workflow webserive task in teachers survey to update teachers survey response to student survey response using “api.qualtrics.com/daed82306b1ea-update-response” API whenever a teacher completes the survey. So, teachers response can be viewed in the students survey itself.This will be a one time configuration which will automate the process going ahead.
@Neha Tank , Enter the client id, client secret and access token url in postman and click on get new access token. Then a pop up window will open, click on process and then another pop-up window will open, click on use token. This will automatically add the token to your api call. Then just run the API.

Hi @klein_71,Try using the below 3 API’s in sequence which will help to import the contacts to an existing mailing list and distribute the surveys only to newly created contacts. api.qualtrics.com/ca5ad8bbec6fb-create-transaction-batch - create a transaction batch as 1st step on daily basis and pass the batch id from result in next api call. api.qualtrics.com/bab13356ac724-create-transaction-contacts-import - create contacts in a specific mailing list daily and also add these new contacts to the batch created in 1st step api.qualtrics.com/573e3f0a94888-create-distribution - using this API create distribution to contacts in batch id. Here in the JSON body, the receipient should have only transactionBatchId.Let me know if this works
Hi,Try using postman to run the API. We do have an option to run the API automatically for all responses using postman collection. Create the API call “api.qualtrics.com/daed82306b1ea-update-response” and wherever the value should be dynamically passed, write the field name within curly brace like {{ResponseId}}. This should exactly match the column name in csv file. Then save the collection and run the collection by selecting the csv file with all data.
