As some of you may have heard, the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) relaxed its guidelines last year about demographic questions and that asking about ethnicity, race, and gender is no longer considered to be sensitive. OMB has also released guidance about asking questions about gender identity: SOGI-Best-Practices.pdf (whitehouse.gov)I would love to hear from other Qualtrics users in the public sector about whether you have applied this relatively new guidance on asking ethnicity, race, or gender demographic questions in your surveys. If you have, have you received adequate responses from customers to be able to segment effectively? Have you received negative feedback about these questions? In preview mode (e.g., selecting “send a preview email” for email distributions, the linked survey requires the user to log in using their Qualtrics account. While it’s easy to create a test list to send the final survey to testers, it would be clearer for this particular use case for a preview email to provide the same user experience as a participant accessing the survey through an email link.This ability is important for our use case because as a US federal agency, we need to be confident that the experience respondents have with our surveys leaves them completely confident that we are who we say we are. My team is interested in collecting experience data from blogs that we run, but are receiving pushback on two points: 1) asking questions on a blog detracts from the overall experience and 2) the comments function on the blog removes the need for collecting user feedback.One might respond to these points by suggesting that the survey can be delivered unobtrusively (for example, using a button invitation instead of a popup), and that while customers typically use comments to respond directly to content or points made on the blog, the larger points about navigability, usability, etc. are generally not addressed within comments.Has anyone in XMPros successfully implemented surveys on their blogs? I've posted this question elsewhere and am also posting it here. For marketing researchers here, do you know of any credible benchmarks for government organizations for Net Promoter Score (NPS)? While best practice is to benchmark against one's own organization and drive continuous improvement, the first question I always get from managers, especially senior managers, when I present on NPS is, "how do we compare with other organizations like us." I have a question from some developer colleagues about *how to exclude Qualtrics code in automated test scripts--most likely Python or Javascript* -- to prevent a pop up from displaying or from Qualtrics running during an automated test. This would save developer time because they would not need to click through a popup in order to determine whether the code was working correctly. I haven't seen any documentation about this, so any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Hello all: my organization, in addition to using Qualtrics to collect customer feedback on digital offerings, uses Microsoft Dynamics as a reporting tool for customer feedback coming from call centers and other types of interactions. In an end state, I could see integrating both under the Qualtrics environment, but in the current state, Microsoft Dynamics is the designated tool for collecting customer feedback outside of our websites.Do any Community members have experience integrating Microsoft Dynamics data with Qualtrics? We just finished our regular check-in with Jake_Stack , and were wondering if anyone in the community has done any research or encountered any findings on multicollinearity between CX measures like net promoter score, overall satisfaction, task accomplishment, et cetera.It would be intuitive that these measures would be related, but given that we don't have a huge volume of data yet, I would be interested in exploring these relationships and seeing what other community members have been able to uncover. We have just received Microsoft PowerBI as an enterprise visualization tool and I've been exploring the use cases. It's easy to connect flat files downloaded from Qualtrics, but I'm wondering if there are better ways of creating connections that can be automatically or manually refreshed. It looks like the only available web connector in Qualtrics is for Tableau. I've seen documentation that suggests using the API, but are there any other approaches (particularly for non-coders like me)? Thanks in advance!
We are exploring using Embedded Feedback to provide page-level feedback to supplement our baseline, organization-wide survey for one of our products. From the documentation I have seen thus far, it appears that the Embedded Feedback project type is independent of a traditional intercept and that the use case does not support randomly assigning a customer to the embedded feedback survey or a traditional survey. Is this correct, and if not, what are best practices for combining a traditional survey with an embedded feedback survey? Thanks in advance!

I've seen documentation on how to do this in TextIQ based on verbatim feedback but can't find any for using an embedded data field in the survey. Any suggestions from the Community? My organization is planning to develop an "escape room" game as part of its outreach and training program. We can see a use case for the Qualtrics survey platform which would involve routing respondents' answers through the questionnaire, with a goal of having them interact with our content. Have Qualtrics Community members used the survey platform for gamification? I would be interested in examples, best practices, pitfalls to avoid, and so on. I've received a question that my organization is interested in expanding our customer feedback/experience survey work to include members of the blind community. We follow Section 508 and WCAG principles as manifested in the "Accessibility" feature in Qualtrics, and all our content must be 508 compliant. That said, I would be interested in hearing from other Qualtrics users who have successfully conducted customer experience research. Are there any best practices or experiences that you can share? Hello all: I'm trying to think "outside the box" for ways to amplify the survey response to intercepts on less frequently-visited Web sites. (We have some Web sites that receive millions of visits each month, and others that receive multiple orders of magnitude fewer than that.)I'm familiar with tools such as adjusting sample display rates to lower the number of responses from a given intercept, and using quotas within an intercept to adjust responses for a given characteristics. But can anyone think of a way to increase (at least potentially) the number of responses coming from a single intercept? I'm happy to discuss this offline with anyone who has suggestions, or want some clarification. Thanks in advance!
Hello all! We have a page on a domain that is serving the intercept creative less frequently than would be ideal. We would like to set an intercept display rate that is higher than the intercept display rate set on the rest of the domain. I've tried creating a new action set and specifying a display rate that is higher than 100% (in other words, to sample at a higher rate than the other pages in the domain), but the system will not allow me to do that.Are there any ideas on how to set an intercept display rate on an individual page (or subdomain) within a larger domain?Thanks,Adam
Is there a formal statement of how Qualtrics protects user data, beyond the Web page titled "Data Protection and Privacy" (link here: https://www.qualtrics.com/support/survey-platform/getting-started/data-protection-privacy/)? We need to update our organization's privacy policy and would like to include the most recent document from Qualtrics. If that is the official policy, it should be sufficient.

Hello! I'm an analytics lead for a Federal agency. Once in a while I get questions about the EX function, which is a challenge for us because the Federal government conducts an annual Federal Employee Values Survey (FEVS) and we do not want to create surveys that conflict with that, and for other reasons related to Federal management practices for staff and contractors.
