Embedded Feedback in conjunction with traditional surveys | XM Community

We are exploring using Embedded Feedback to provide page-level feedback to supplement our baseline, organization-wide survey for one of our products. From the documentation I have seen thus far, it appears that the Embedded Feedback project type is independent of a traditional intercept and that the use case does not support randomly assigning a customer to the embedded feedback survey or a traditional survey. Is this correct, and if not, what are best practices for combining a traditional survey with an embedded feedback survey? Thanks in advance!
