You’ll need to use either the API or web service calls to get this one.With limited seats, one issue you’ll face is that quotas take some time to update, therefore, towards the end, you may have more confirmations than seats.
Yes, you’ll be able to find out what you are looking from using this setup. A better option would be to use a side-by-side question. One columnn for Before the Course and the second column After the Course.
A simpler option would be have the question text as an embeded data. Use branch logic to set the value of this ED.
In your current dataset, the only valid responses (based on what you’ve described) are those who have answered reserved.To identify which question they have answered, download your data set and see which of the four blocks has answers in it. If none of them had any inputs, then you’ll have to view each response individually (from the data and analysis tab) and see which question was shown to the respondent.

In this setup all your values will be overwritten except the onces circled. So at the end of the day you will have only one value. Also, please read the support pages on Piped text and check how the different options work before launching the survey. QuestionText is your question text. ChoiceDescription is the text for the choice and not the choice made by the respondent. That will be selected choices. Given your setup: This condition is always FALSE. That's why all you see if reserved. Even if a participant selected extroverted, they would be shown the options for reserved.

I would recommend looking at the support pages of autheticator.If you can add the values in the XM directory, that should be enough.
Its pulls the HTML code of the choices, so this is the expected output.
Try uploading without the headers or renaming columns 12-15 and 18 to not have any spaces/colons.Prior to that, also use the TRIM function in excel to remove any whitespace.
Have you added an ED with the exact same name as your query string parameter? If it still doesn’t work, maybe you could update your survey responses via API and then add them to the dashboard.
Loop and Merge fields are referenced by number, so the code will be of the form: ${lm://Field/1}, ${lm://Field/2} etc. If you are using embedded data it will be referenced by fieldname: ${e://Field/image} It would be better to store the image url only: So image = https://LINK_TO_IMAGE Then: <img src=”${e://Field/image}”>
Another option would be create a backend service on something like Lambda. After they complete the relevant block, send it details like the response ID, embedded data and email address, and send the email using this backend service.
This is sometimes an issue when the server has high load. I would recommend refreshing your page and retying after a few minutes/hours.
If you're comfortable with Javascript then one option would be to use something like datepicker. There are multiple answers on the community related to it. The other option would be use piped text, in the survey flow you can se an ED to values around the current date. You could pipe these in, instead of static choices.
You could do that, but then you’ll have the student id and record id both stored in the Qualtrics survey and the data. If that isn’t a concern, then you can ahead with your solution.

Your requirement that nobody but the database admistrator has access to the student id, makes this a little more complicated. For using internal Qualtrics functions, you’ll need to store the student id in the survey, this will mean that it will be available in the data and analysis tab.To get around this, you’ll need to call a server from the frontend, sending the student id and getting back the record id. I don’t think that will be possible using your default pdf embeds. You’ll probably need a use an external library like PDF.js or adobe pdf.
You could have two versions of Q7 on the same page. One forced response, the other optional.In case an individual answers Q6, show forced response Q7. In case one doesn’t, show the other.Since only one will be answered, you can collapse the responses to one field, in either the survey flow or field editor.
