We have a matrix with a likert scale with statements about knowledge on topics covered in the course. Row 1 asks questions about knowledge on topic 1 before the course and row 2 asks knowledge on the topic after the course; row 3 asks questions about knowledge on topic 2 before the course and row 4 asks knowledge on topic 2 after the course, and so on.

Will we be able to use Qualtrics analytics to measure the changes in knowledge for each topic? Or do you recommend we format the question differently to assist us with this analysis?

  1. Yes, you’ll be able to find out what you are looking from using this setup.
  2. A better option would be to use a side-by-side question. One columnn for Before the Course and the second column After the Course.

I am with @ahmedA to use the side-by-side question which will be easier for respondents to answer this.
