Hi @Sachin Nandikol - Thanks for your reply. You told the right way, but remember that the participants are coming from Prolific and I need to get their both the survey marked closed as per Prolific policies so that they are paid for the attempts.

@oopssori3, You don’t need to do any ‘hard coding’ if you use the Qualtrics Conjoint module. You enter the attributes and parameters and it does the rest. It is very locked down so you can’t change anything even if you wanted to. Think of it as ‘Conjoint for Dummies’. It is possible to do conjoints without using the Qualtrics conjoint module and without ‘hard coding’ using a database and web services. We’ve been doing it for a long time (before Qualtrics had a conjoint module). We continue to do it this way because it provides the flexibility we require that the Qualtrics conjoint doesn’t provide. @TomG - Hi, can you please throw some light on “using a database and web services”? I want to know how can that be done.Thanks.
@rochak_khandelwal Qualtrics doesn't allow pasting images from the clipboard directly into survey questions to ensure data security and efficient survey performance. It’s a on cloud platform so it doesn’t save survey in a static document where you can paste the image directly. It have to host image in the Qualtrics Graphics Library for better management and optimization of images. It also reduces the risk of potential security issues associated with pasting images directly from the clipboard. Hey, thanks for the reply. However, I still believe that such a feature could at least be made optional. For people like me working with enormous number of images, it becomes very painful to go through the process for changing image every time.

Check this support page, which will help you to delete all the preview responses at once. Hey, like I mentioned I am in the middle of survey and hence don’t want to delete “all” of the responses at once.

I am a researcher who make use of Qualtrics for the work I regularly perform. Over the last year, the community has helped me a lot in many ways, such as: New Features and Enhancements: I have gotten to know new features which in turn have helped me in improving experience with Qualtrics. For example, I have learnt to use quotas and Javascript in my surveys.Solving the issues that i have faced: The community has been very helpful in solving my queries whenever I have encountered them. As aptly pointed out by @gingersauz , I realized the true worth during the transition period. Thanks Qualtrics for providing this platform 😀

I think you could solve this by adding the scenario blocks multiple times to the randomizer. Basically you would have something like this: Randomizer: - control - Treatment1 - Treatment2 - Treatment3 - Treatment4 - Treatment1 - Treatment2 - Treatment3 - Treatment4 This would, I guess, only be 1/9. Another solution would be to use the Random number generator. At the top of your survey flow you could assign an Embedded Data field to a random number between 1 & 10 using the ${rand://int/1:10} piped text. Then have a branch that if that value = 1 to put them to show them the control. If that number does not equal 1 then put them in a randomizer to see one of the remaining 3 blocks. I will try this and get back to you.Meanwhile, I also got to learn about quotas and was able to restrict the number of responses for each question using them. What do you think about that idea? (Obviously, I need to start with the total number of responses to begin with, which is something I know as I plan to run the experiment through Qualtrics.)

If you use JS or a web service you can control it any way you wish. For example, you could create a quota for each group and randomly assign on a least fill basis to ensure you get the desired distribution. There is no guarantee of getting an even distribution using random numbers. @TomG - I am new to this. Can you please explain by some example how can that be done?Thanks for letting me know that the distribution won’t be uniform with random numbers. That certainly saves me!
