It has for me. There might be some unknown exceptions, though, like perhaps if you’re using CAPTCHA.

FWIW, Qualtrics users can generate a Retake Link for an response submitted via an anonymous link. But the trick will be whether or not you have sufficient information to identify the response to reopen.

Support is Not Responsive

Hi @Dzhrago ,That’s really frustrating. Not that it’s an excuse, but I wonder if the rep was sidetracked due to the X4 Summit occurring this week. Unfortunately most members of the XM Community are regular users, not Qualtrics employees, so they won’t be in a position to help with sales questions or lack of response from the Qualtrics team. But perhaps tagging the admins, @Michael_Cooksey or @AmaraW , can amplify this request for you.

Thurs Apr 18 almost all domain emails flagged Qualtrics as spam

That sounds similar to what happened in my organization. As I understand it, my organization’s 3rd party anti-spam protection and Qualtrics do not communicate very well, so staff who were on the receiving end of a high volume of Qualtrics workflows or who were Qualtrics users and sent themselves many test email invitations in a short period of time would have their email flagged. This happened even though our IT unit did everything they could to whitelist the Qualtrics email servers.In the end, neither side could completely guarantee a resolution to the issue, though it seems to be less of a problem in the last couple of years (fingers crossed!). I did move my alerts to a burner recipient email for my highest volume workflows, though, so I don’t know if it might still be an issue.

How to make it if they answer question X, then question Y becomes mandatory.

Could you show an example of how to do that? I am struggling to follow along? Would I make a 2nd question 7?  Hi @JackP. Why are there more responses than results?

Hi. The first thing I would look at is the Survey Settings-->Responses tab. If incomplete responses are set to record within a short amount of time, that might be the reason why there are 8 empty responses.

Hi. Instead of using Results, try the Reports tool. Use a Data Table visualization and add separate metrics for Choice Count and Percentage of Choices.

Setting up survey form for quarterly reporting, prepopulating previous entries

Hi. If the outcomes questions are text entry, you could prepopulate the data in the next quarter’s survey by adding it to your Directory/contact list for each provider, then using Embedded Data to pull it into your survey.In each survey question, use the Default Choices feature to prepopulate the corresponding Embedded Data field for the provider.Hope this helps!

Affiliation Question for a Social Network Questionnaire

Hi. If you want to set this up to look exactly like the picture you shared, with two columns of text entry questions, use the Matrix question type with “Text Entry” Matrix type. If you want your second column to be a multiple choice question, use the Side-by-Side question type.

How to track progress of one group in multiple surveys

One solution you might consider is to pull the survey links from the Distribution History after you send the email invitation, and send them to each customer by mail. There would of course be a lag between receipt of the email and mailed invitations, but that way respondents would get the same link either way.

Scoring

Hi. You might want to verify whether the issue is with scoring values, or Recode Values. If it’s the latter, you should be able to correct those values in the survey editor and apply the changes to your data without losing any responses. It would require publishing an update to the survey.

Unique Link Resend

You would have to delete the contact from your original email list, then create a new email list and distribution to send a new link to that contact. In other words, you would repeat nearly all the same steps as your initial distribution just for this one contact.If you want to save some time and effort, you might consider generating the Distribution History instead, finding this contact’s survey link, and sending that link to the person outside of Qualtrics. That way you don’t have to cancel the original link or create a new one.

Can non Q-Userdo anything within projects?

No, not really. Those functions require a Qualtrics account.Without a Qualtrics account, non-users could create/edit survey Word files to import into Qualtrics, prepare Embedded data files, or access Results or Reports that have been set up for public sharing by another user. But a an account is necessary to complete any of those functions in Qualtrics.

Grab emailed individual survey link for user to take survey immediately

Hi. Perhaps there is a way to engineer this with the help of a solution outside of Qualtrics, but I can’t think of any way to do this completely within Qualtrics using individual links. Those types of links are not created until a distribution containing the contact is set up, so there would not be any way to pull the link into survey 1.You might look into setting up a batch of Personal Links to use in your survey 1.5 scenario, but I can’t think of an obvious way to call those into a survey either.

Yes, so in your survey, each of the 10 lines would have 3 conditions. The “Yes” condition would be linked with AND to the second column. Instead of setting up a condition for each point on the scale you could use the Recode value instead; that is, where Recode value is greater than 0.

Sure, in the second step of each condition, you should just be able to change “Is Not Empty” to “Is Selected”. Then you probably want to delete the fourth step (“Is Empty”) because respondents won’t be able to deselect a choice in the second column. Otherwise, if you required that the second column not be selected, it would prevent those who pick No in the first one and make a selection in the second one by mistake from moving ahead in the survey.

Hi @VictoriaMonika ,Here’s an example of how you can use custom validation in a side-by-side question. In this scenario, an entry must be made in the Change Description column when “Yes” is selected in the first column. Can you create an Embedded Data field that sets a value for everyone you want to exclude who was in the previous 8 samples, then use that to create your ninth sample?

Customizable Survey Invitation Email

If you’re composing a plain text email, there is no way to hide the survey or opt-out links; those are required attributes in messages that are created in the Distributions tab within a survey.If you are trying to send a message without a survey link for some reason, that can be done through the XM Directory tab instead. But I believe this method still requires an opt-out link in the message.

Customizable Survey Invitation Email

  I am looking to run a test on this with some of our panel members. However, my main question when it comes to distributing emails via Qualtrics is “can I send a customizable email like those in MailChimp?” Additionally, is there a way to hide my survey link within the text instead of using the Qualtrics generated link?       By “customizable”, do you mean the ability to format the look and feel of the email, personalize the content, or both? In a nutshell, Qualtrics can do both. Users have the ability to use HTML in messages, and can pipe personalized data from the contact directory into messages.And if you mean hyperlinking a survey URL when you refer to a way to hide it, that can be done as well since HTML formatting is available.

Tracking Responses Without Individual Links

Unfortunately, this no longer works with some of the new platform updates. I have tried several alternative ideas:  I originally thought I could send an email and replace the individual links with the personal links, but that does not work  What happened exactly when you tried this? Can you provide more detail about the steps you followed? That would be the solution that I would try if this were my project. If you’re still sending the initial distribution by snail mail, the completed surveys would be tracked in the Personal Links, so you could filter them out when it comes time to send the email reminders.

How to Deactivate a Multiple Choice Answer

Hi. Removing a response choice will cause it to disappear from the survey data. Instead of deleting the choice in the survey editor, you can use Display Logic with a condition that will always be false to hide the choice. Respondents will not see the choice in the survey, but the choice(s) will be preserved in the data.
