Validate email address against XM Directory

In order to validate the email in the survey questions, you can use content validation -  Email which will help you to take the valid format emails. With regards to duplicates emails in XM Dir, you can prevent it using the Identity resolutions.

You can do Question Randomization (this option is available when you select the block) and using display logic in the question level to achieve the setup.

Question on messages library

Currently there is no option available in the Library however you can include those messages in the survey/invite message and preview the actual messages.

Choices Show Based on previous question Selection

You can use Drill down question type and i think that fits your requirement. While using a drill down, be sure to store the drill down selection in the embedded data in the survey flow and you can also find more information on this in the support pages.

The total responses in my word cloud does not correspond to the total of my response ticker.

That's true. The widget shows the total number based on the page level filters. In order to match the numbers with Response ticket, you can use Advance filter in word cloud and set to not empty for that text entry questions.

hi brad7280 It looks like "View Restricted Data" is disabled for your account, when it is disabled these fields will be replaced with asterisks in the Data & Analysis tab and will be unavailable in any data export.https://www.qualtrics.com/support/survey-platform/sp-administration/managing-users/user-permissions/

Q_PopulateResponse not working when using embedded fields

On Scenario 2: you are trying to set the value which has not yet been saved in the embedded data, and that's the reason you are not able to set the value using Q_PopulateResponse. Here the workaround will be using the custom code (JavaScript) to select the value based on Q1Hist value.
