Some Questions Results are missing after Displaying Results

Hi @kamngr, Few things you can troubleshoot at your end:- Does the questions OR any question before the question with varying counts is using “SKIP LOGIC” functionality. Since with the skip logic, at time, respondent can get pass certain sections OR even blocks of the survey. Does such questions includes any filter conditions (Display logics) which could be contributing this Finally, I would recommend to check if the force response settings are not missed on any of such questions, which may contribute to discrepancy. If everything above looks good, I would suggest to reach out to Qualtrics Support team to further troubleshoot the issues.

Loop and Merge

Hi @AnnaM89, I would suggest to NOT use loop and merge and instead follow below methodology:- Create 2 blocks one with heat-map question and another with follow up question. Here, the follow up question would show the selection from heat map and would ask if they want to change their selection Further in survey flow: Add the branch condition “IF YES SELECTED in FOLLOWUP question” then DUPLICATE the block with heatmap question and cascade it within branch conditions. This will preserve the selection and repeat the heatmap question for the respondent. Hope this helps.

Exclude question label from response summary

Hi @JohannesCE,While I don’t think we can customize the response summary report in such detail, you can always create a “custom message” in the end of survey element, in which you can specify the content to be shown (Question Text) and respective responses.And yes, it is certainly time consuming! :)

Back button - multiple pages

Hi @RElsdon,Is there a way of adding a button or editing the back button to skip back 2/3 pages:- Unfortunately, you cannot, because as in Qualtrics terminology when it says “Survey Flow” it absolutely flows in sequential manner (where logics only flows in “forward” sequence).   count how many times respondents click it? This is within the same block, and I’ve removed branch logic btw. :- As others suggested you can make use of “click()” event over the id “#PreviousButton” to capture the click counts.All the best!

Hide not answered questions in email task with piped text

Hey @JohannesCE,Could it be due to when the pipe text is parsed, there will not be any significance of “${“, thus against the span we should have the actual value of the pipe text.Thus, would it make more sense in the code, if we directly check whether the span contains some value.Hope I’m making any sense here :)

@ScottG  is it possible to use embedded data to automate it, instead of using the custom field creation? I believe you can do so, I would go with creating an embedded variable which by default (hard coded) have the value of “No”, Ex. Q1_ED = No,Which will ONLY be then overwritten to Q1_ED = Yes with the help of branch condition if respondent has selected “Yes”,If respondent has left the question blank OR have answered “No”, then the hard coded value will come in to picture and punch variable as “No”

Turning on "anonymise responses" on an active survey?

Hi @pfly,Turing the “anonymise responses” option while collecting the data should not affect the existing data, however, do note that, Qualtrics “hides” the PII information of existing respondents while for new respondents it simply does not collect.You can find more information about the same on the link below:-https://www.qualtrics.com/support/survey-platform/survey-module/survey-options/survey-protection/#AnonymizingResponses

Hi @JohannesCE,Can you try enclosing individual variable (Steekwoord 1, 2 etc) in a <span> tag Ex.<span id=”S1”>Steekwoord 1 : PIPE TEXT</span>And then through JS hide the id=”S1” if QID1 does not have data i.e., empty.

Record response time for a block

Hi @Linda H.,You can certainly achieve this functionality by using “Q_TotalDuration” embedded variable. Use following approach to capture the block timings:-Create embedded variable Block1.1Timing as set the value as pipe text of “Q_TotalDuration” Create embedded variable which holds the subtraction, say Block1.2Timing and set the value as math operation of pipe text of “Q_TotalDuration - Block1.1Timing” For next blocks, your EDs will be Block2.1Timing and Block2.2Timing respectively.

Hi @Tata C , Instead of adding the script in the JavaScript option add the script as follows: Go to answer option → Rich content editor → HTML view. Paste the below code in all boxes except box 6. <script>jQuery(“label”).hide()</script> Make sure you don't have this code in question level JS option. Hope this works.

Reset button

Hi @yaminaaloui, It could be bit tricky, but below are the methods you can certainly try out: To reset the survey, ideal scenario is to refresh the link, which you can do on the click of Next Button which triggers the page refresh. However, catch here is, the default Qualtrics settings for duplicate response prevention will force the respondent to start the survey where they left. So you need to disable this setting for refresh to work. More details can be found here However, it is not an recommended approach since it could also affect the quality of the data you would be collecting. Hope this helps!

adding space between options in MC questions with Text box entry

Hi @mdaruka,As you have already tried fair bit of custom programming, my suggestion to add a simple “<br>” tags at the end of the option choice.Basically <br> (which means break) adds a new line after your text, thus, may provide some blank spaces between answer options.Ex. If you statement says “Brand I love”, your HTML view of the text should be  : Brand I love <br> Hopefully this works :)

Hey @AnnaHar,Yeah, I believe the lemmatization could be subjective at times, ex., in above case, it was ideal to to tag “thinking”/”thinkers” under “think”, at the same time, we DO NOT want to tag “carpet” under “car”.Hope this makes sense :)

Hi @ar03,Could you please also share the screenshot of the HTML view?Additionally, I would recommend to remove blank rows from the column, as their is high possibility that the blank rows may also get picked in the loop and show nothing in result.
