But what I need to know is how to pre-select the options on the survey based on the query string parameter. I mean, when I click Yes or No from the email, it’ll take me to the survey with that value in the URL. How can I preselect that option in the survey so the user don’t need to select it again?

Hello @Tom_1842!It worked perfectly! thank you :D Something else (that now I see that I should have added to the question 😅) we also need to show/hide some of the options with display logics. But when I do that, the drop down list is not hided, it is just added to the third option. Here an example: I put the logic to Field 3 and when the logic is met, this is what I see: But when the logic is not met, this is what I see: Field 3 is not shown but the drop-down list is appliet to Field 4. Also, when I respond the survey the drop-down values are assigned to the question that it is related to in each scenario. Is there a way to fix this? Thanks!

In this case we need a form field because we have around 8 fields that the user has to fill, in this scenario, 8 individual text entry questions would use a lot of space. Also we have around 10 similar surveys that my team have to build, so using this aproach would be very time consuming.
Hello @nonufrie you can manually update the piped text for those options. Let’s say that the text entry value piped text for your first field is ${q://QID32/ChoiceTextEntryValue/1}you just need to replace the part “ChoiceTextEntryValue” for “ChoiceDescription”. So it would be ${q://QID32/ChoiceDescription/1}. Hope this helps!
I have found a lot of value in the XM Community because I really like to learn new things constantly and this is the perfect space to ask and discuss and understand the different ways to solve any problem. Particularly I enjoy reading discussions and I feel amazed with the amount of knowledge that I can find in each one of them. I try myself to contribute a little bit but most of the time I’m feeding my curiosity and learning new things both from the participants’ question and the XM Community activities. In general what I take the most from the XM Community are the custom codes to do some things that we can’t do natively. It has solved many needs on my company.

Hello @Juan Torres!First of all you should be sure that your responses are from a distribution related to that transaction. If so, transaction data behaves similar to embedded data. That means that you just have to include them in the survey flow as embedded data for them to be part of the Data & Analysis tab, and therefore, part of the export responses file. Something similar is explained here: Importat to note that if your distribution is not realated to the transaction, it won’t identify that transaction data.Hope this helps :)

Hello @Kubson. Regarding the submitted date, you can check the metadata field End Date within Data & Analysis. You will also have the field Registered Date in case you save partial responses after some time.
When you say “individual links with embedded data that comes with it” you mean that you are using query string to embed the embedded data in the URL? If so, since this is static info, there’s no way to identify the correct person. On the other hand, if the individual links takes the info from the embedded / transaction data stored in the contact list, the authenticator would help you with that because when you authenticate you are technically asking the survey to get your information, so you would still be able to get the embedded data from your list for the authenticated contacts. It may add one step on your survey but the data would be more reliable.
Hello @Iolanda!One workaround to this scenario would be using authenticators. Preferably Single Sign On authenticators. That way you could just send an anonymous link that authenticates based on the directory and everyone will register their responses. Also, whoever is not allowed to take the survey (is not in the directory/list you are using to authenticate) will not be able to authenticate.

Also the color of the border (in hex code) And the border radius (just change that 6 for the radius you want)Hope this helps!
Hello @Jyang4!Have you tried math operations? you could perform the maths operations you need to get your result and then with branch logic you could define the nominal result and save it into an embedded data field (something like the appended screenshot) so you could show that result to the user. Yep, totally. The thing with this task is that it is designed to add new registers (rows) on an existing Gsheet. It is not able to create new variables (columns). But if you create a new column manually into your Gsheets (you just have to put a name in the first row), Qualtrics is able to identify it in the task.For example here I just created the field “New_Column” in my Gsheed that is updated by a task that I created like 5 months ago. And below you can see that I can map that field in the task. Now, It happened to me only once that the task had some kind of bug and I wasn’t able to edit it. So I had to create it all over again. But you can still add the new column in your Gsheet and use exactly the same Gsheet you have been using and it will start updating from the las row. Hope this helps!
Hello @cella80.As far as I understand, there’s no math operation to identify min or max. here you can see the available operations. Yo could give it a try to the JS and try to replicate what they talked on this discussion and talk to your brand admin to activate the JS permision on your user. Otherwise, you could try to do that definition in the survey flow with something like this: Here, you would be doing three things: Declaring your two variables (Dato1 and Dato2) and assigning values to them The second embedded data block assumes that the minimum data is Dato1 and the maximum is Dato2. The Branch evaluates the opossite hypothesis to finally determine which one is bigger. Clearly this approach would work this way with only two variables. In case that you have more than 2 it would get more complicated so I would consider using JS. Best regards :)

hi @vnall If this is a one-time survey you could wait for your survey to close and then duplicate the project and upload all your responses with those fields created as embedded data fields into that new project. Otherwise, I don’t see lots of options. Did you already tried contacting Qualtrics Support?

Hello!Dutch is actually in the list. The code is NL.If you are ok with the default messages (“survey already answered” or “unavailable”) you don’t have to do anything because Qualtrics already have translation for those messages.Now, if you want to customize those messages, you need to follow the instructions here to translate them to the languages you need. For that, you need to create the original message in French (FR) and then add the translation to Dutch (NL) and then update the messages in survey options. Also, you need to create the translations for other messages like invite, subject, reminder, etc. The process is exaclty the same.
