I’ve searched the KB and community and am not finding what I am looking for so I’m hoping one of you geniuses can help😊I’ve been asked to create a survey that adds piped text, either in the questions or the answers, from “data points in a database”. The plan is to use the data base to pipe in the name of support desk representative either in an email sent to the client or in the body of the question pipe in answer options Is this possible? TIA!
Hello - I am trying to understand how a survey with math operations was created so that I can recreate the Dashboard (the original owner/creator is no longer w/the company and their account were removed along with the dashboard). The way that I've always used math operations is to add them to the survey flow, but this survey does not have any in the survey flow. It does have scoring but I still don't understand how the piped text knows what it represents without the survey flow having the math operation and value. There is also a weird issue with the calendar date picker exporting the date twice. Birthday_Orders.qsfAm I better off starting from scratch and adding the math operations as embedded data in the survey flow? Thanks in advance!
Hello - I am trying to end the survey if the title pulled in from SSO Authenticator contains TestUser. It needs to be contains (vs. IS Equal To or any of the other options) because I have titles with TestUser, TestUser Admin, TestUser Owner etc. I've created a survey, created the below branch logic, published and tested using an account that meets the criteria but I am not having not had any luck. Thoughts? TIA 😀
Hello - I need to send the same survey to the same person multiple times. The only difference in each is the embedded data for the vendor category. I am using a contact list that identifies the relationship owner (Survey recipient) and the vendor(s) that they own the relationship. The 17 questions are pulling in the Vendor name as embedded data in the contact list. What I can't wrap my head around is how do I distribute up to 20 surveys to the same person based on the vendor they are responsible for. I didn't want to do loop & merge because each survey is 17 questions and the most a person has to complete is 20 so that is A LOT at one time. The thought behind sending emails is to let the respondent complete the surveys as they have time. Below is a screenshot of how I have structured the contact list to add the embedded data to the survey questions. Hello - In the second survey of a Longitudinal experience, I'm trying to set embedded data based on an answer selection in Q1 so that I can use it in an email workflow.Ex: Q1 asks them to select their name. If they select Captain America, embedded data (their username/login) equals cptmerica. Then I can set the email workflow to come from the user. We have custom from domains set up so I can then use the login as embedded data with our email domain.I do know who the person completing the survey is. However, this is the second survey in a Longitudinal survey. I'm having the 1st survey completed by one person, that triggers a workflow to send the 2nd survey to the email to the address they entered in the survey. The 2nd survey is completed by a different person.I found a few articles that got me wondering if what I am trying to accomplish is possible. On our website, we are using the website / app feedback to display a feedback button (creative). On the page, we would like to have wording that says something like - to submit feedback, click here. Then, when they click "here" the feedback creative opens. I've offered to change the logic on the intercept so that the creative shows on exit (for example) but they want it to stay on the left but also give users the option to click "here" to submit feedback. I realize that when they click "here" it could just launch the survey link/target but that is not desired experience. The only way I can think to accomplish this (without development work) is to hyperlink the creative to the word "here". Thoughts? I've reviewed the support article but my pages never look like the screenshots in the articles so I get hung up. Thanks in advance for any assistance, I appreciate it!
Hello, I have a ServiceNow workflow that is creating an incident and adding responses from at least 3 questions to the ServiceNow description. It's not easy to ready on the ServiceNow side, but if I could add line breaks it would be. I've included a screenshot to show the workflow setup and the output in ServiceNow. I'm attempting to leverage a survey to create a reimbursement process. A team member could have as little as one item they need to reimbursed for, or as many as twenty. Q2 in the first block will determine the number of times block two is looped. What I'd like to be able to do is show the team member their remaining balance as they progress through the survey. I'm new at the math equations, but I've figured out how to get Total - Q3 per block to work but I'm trying to find a way to show the amount left to allocate (if they submit more than 1 item) where it should fall in the loop process. I feel like there might be a way to accomplish this but not sure so I was hoping the brilliant Qualtrics community might have an idea. CURRENT PROCESS (Outside of Qualtrics): The business (15 different people) compiles the same information multiple times a day and sends an email to leadership utilizing a template that they have created. Yes, leadership gets multiple emails per day with the same topic of information, just unique data. PROBLEM: The 15 different people are logging the emails sent and the information in the email in their own spreadsheet if/when they remember. This results in inaccurate/no reporting and inconsistent processes among those sending the emails and compiling the information. They need a consistent process and accurate reporting. Hello, I have been asked to create a survey that team members can access when they need to book a service. Currently, we use a booking tool but it lacks in reporting. I'm sure that this can be done but I'm concerned with the level of initial effort as well as maintenance so I wanted to see if anyone had any feedback, best practices etc. The desired experience is (short version)Q1. Do you need 15 min or 30 min? Q2. Date Picker Calendar Q2a. 15 min takes them down a path with options from 9 am - 11:45 am (12 options total)Q2b. 30 min takes them down a path with options from 12:30 pm - 5:30 pm (10 options total)Once the slot is selected, it is no longer available (quota to be set at 1)Here's where I worry about initial effort and maintenance. 22 options per day x's 5 days a week = 110 quotas to create for ONE WEEK, plus I imagine I need display logic for the date picker (assuming it's possible, if not maybe a matrix style question?). Hello - we are considering Website / App Feedback for our client-facing website. The site is a transactional portal where our clients come to complete the functions required to send us business. The site has a lot of different pages, borrower information, income, fees, disclosures, to name a few. We are currently leveraging a DAP, WalkMe, to share announcements, guide users through changes, and even link off to a Qualtrics survey to gather information. My questions is, does anyone else use a DAP and Qualtrics Website / App Feedback? If so, how? From my research, they seem to overlap a lot but I want to be sure that I am not missing something. My survey is using a contact list that is setup with the Manager First and Last Name, Email, Direct Report 1 - 50 (DR1, DR2, DR3 etc.) that has their direct report name in different columns. When the manager authenticates into the survey with their Email I have a matrix question that shows their DR1-50 along the left (statements) and two text entry fields (scale points). When creating the dashboard I would like to create one field that is called Direct Reports instead of DR1, DR2, DR3 etc. to create a dropdown of the direct report names for filtering. In the dashboard settings, I have the DR1-50 as text sets so I thought about recoding but am not getting the results I was hoping. Thoughts?
Hello - I have found a previous post about using a calendar date picker and was able to get it to work in a free text question. However, I am unable to get the date picker to work with a matrix question. Is the calendar date picker possible on the matrix question? If so, what am I doing wrong? I followed the same steps that got it to work in the free text question.
I recently moved our tracking of vendor outages from an excel spreadsheet into Qualtrics. So far it's great and the business is loving the ease of reporting/documenting the outage as well as the dashboards I created. However, I have two sections in the spreadsheet that I am unsure how to fit into Qualtrics, _if at all_. Below is a short explanation of these two tabs as well as screen shot, I tried to include the formulas for those that speak excel. Until I am able to account for these two tabs in the survey the business is still using the excel spreadsheet. :/ I feel like there is a way to accomplish this but I haven't learned enough about Qualtrics to say for sure. We have a survey that is triggered from an action in a SF case. When we are checking to see if contacts received the survey in the related list (25,000 contacts) we are able to search by email but 5,809 contacts do not have a first or last name. First and last name are required fields on the SF sides so they cannot be blank there. Why would 23% not have first and last name? I don't have a specific date or time to narrow this down and I'm not able to replicate with test users. It's happening randomly but daily. What am I missing here?
Hello Community! I was wondering if anyone else has noticed inconsistencies with embedded data not showing in email actions. We have a survey triggered to be sent based on a specific field in Salesforce (works fine). However, for survey responses, I have multiple emails set up in Actions with embedded data. I can see in SF and in the Data & Analysis section of the survey, so I know it's available but not showing. It's not all of the time but I'd say at least 80% of the time. So some emails have the embedded data and some don't. I do have a case open with support and have submitted multiple screenshots to support the issue but they are unable to replicate. I know I am not crazy (at least on this :D ) Has anyone experiencing this or have you? If so, how did you resolve the issue?
Hello! Without creating a TON of branches/conditions/display logic, is there a way to leverage a list in the library to display options based on a previous answer? Example Q1 - What is the name of the Account Owner? _* This is a drop down question with 600 options _ Q2 - What account did you visit? _* This is a drop down question that would display the account associated to the account owner in the spreadsheet in the library. As of this moment there are almost 12,000 accounts. _ The reason I am trying to provide a drop down list for the account name is so that I can map the response back to SF (free text entry allows errors/inconsistent responses). I have been able to create a drop down list of 8k, but it bogs down the system and is a ton for the user to search. Each Account Owner has 10-20 accounts, if I could display only the accounts that the selected account owners has, the UX would be much better and I would still be able to map the responses. Thoughts?
Hello! We recently started using Qualtrics for our NPS survey. Our previous system automatically excluded false detractors from our score and I am trying to find a way to accomplish something similar with Qualtrics. False Detractor example: Client gave a rating of 0 but in their comments they said that they love everything we do for them but hate competition. I reached out to support and they suggested creating branch logic in the survey flow with conditions that say if a detractor and they comment with specific words such as, happy, love, great, amazing etc. then don't record the response. While this will work, I agree support when they said that there is opportunity to miss real detractors. Real Detractor example: My fiend loves working with you all but I had the worst experience ever. Has anyone run into this, if so how did you handle it? Thanks in advance!
Hello - we would like to create a survey and have the audience interact with it by showing the QR code on the screen(s)/phamplets etc. What is the best way to show the results while the audience is completing the survey? I've looked at the Displaying Live Result article but I'm not sure it's what I am looking for. Maybe this is more of a true Polling system function? Hi All! I don't think this is possible but I'm a newbie so I figured it couldn't hurt to ask. We are using a survey to capture feedback when people willingly separate from the company. HR completes the survey, F2F instead of sending a link, and one of the questions is: Employee Name allowing HR to type in the information. HR is creating their dashboard and they would like to provide access to the respective business units but do not want to show the employee name. The only way I can think to accomplish this is to not create a widget that shows the info and not allow the full survey response to show when clicking into a widget. I've tried restricting data when sharing the dashboard but text questions do not seem to be an option. Plus the restrictions seem to work in a way to only show specific info vs. show everything except specific info. Is there another way? TIA ~Kim
Hello - I have a survey that is currently working with JS for a date picker and Select2 (from my previous picklist question) . I have created a new survey and copied and pasted the JS from the functioning survey to the new questions, as well as the header info. The new questions are the exact same type of questions. The JS for date picker works fine but the select2 will not work. In case it helps I have attached the JS text files. What am I missing here?
Hi All, I am trying to create an inline email for our NPS survey. My marketing team has created the email in HTML for me but I am struggling to link the responses to the specific number in the HTML. Here is an image to give you an idea of what the email will look like. Once the user clicks on their response/number we should capture the response and open a new tab to the rest of the survey. ! Looking to create a unique identifier on a HTML input to be able to hook up a multi select js function.
We have a question that asks users to select their option from a dropdown list of 2,800 options. They can select multiple options but have to hold the CTRL button while selecting. The reason we went with the dropdown picklist is for consistency in reporting. If we allow free text response it gets hard to align the responses because of spelling errors etc. Scrolling through 2,800 options is a _terrible_ user experience. Should we just allow free text responses or is there a better way to do this type of question?
