I'm not sure if I'm just missing it somehow but how do I end a survey to prevent people from taking it? Am I able to schedule it ahead of time or where do I go to click end? I've tried to search this question on here but haven't found an answer. Thanks!

Hello, I'm interested in working on a survey in Qualtrics CX to get feedback on an existing website. We do not currently subscribe to Qualtrics' Website/App Feedback product, so I'm wondering if there's a way to embed a webpage in some sort of i-frame in the survey that respondents can interact with? I was thinking of having respondents click on the link to the website and set the "target" to a new window, but then I'm relying on respondents to actually go back into the survey and answer questions - and I'm not sure that would work out as we'd hope. Is there such a capability? Maybe a custom Javascript? The other option would be to only use static images, but what I explained above would be much more useful. Interested to hear any and all options! Thank you.
Hi all,I'm wondering if it is possible to redirect someone from a Qualtrics survey to another web site (in this case, so they can complete a task on that web site that would not be easy to incorporate into the survey) and for them to then be redirected from that web site back to the same survey. (I would also need to send an ID code from Qualtrics to the other web site, but that's a separate issue.) Any information would be helpful - thank you in advance.Chris Dickinson
Hi,Can somebody please help me with helping me to re-open an expired survey. I have several people who haven’t yet completed the survey and when I checked the link to the survey to resend it to them again for completion the link took me to a page that said the survey had expired. I have gone in to ‘Survey’ then Options and I’ve changed the date of expiry and then tried to create a new link but it still sends me back the expired survey page. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. tks
I have been asked to fill up a survey and I am concerned that it is not anonymous as being informed.Is there a way for participant to know if their confidentiality is really protected? Or we do it by blind faith?

Hi all,I'm trying to insert a consent form (PDF) into a survey and I was wondering if there was any way that I could make it so that the survey as a whole shows up on one question block as a scrollable PDF instead of a link that leads to the form? They don't need to be able to click/edit it, just scroll through it.I've tried inserting it as PDF, picture, and as an RTF file to no avail.Thank you!
Hi!I have uploaded a video into my Qualtrics presentation (not from YouTube, but simply uploaded from my computer) into a 'descriptive text' box. My presentation involves randomisation both within and between blocks, which has created some issues. I need the video to autoplay, but I haven't been able to do so yet. The questions answered on this topic seem only to relate to videos embedded from YouTube, and the custom codes don't work for me. I am wondering if someone has ideas of how I could achieve this?I would also like to remove the play/pause buttons from the video (same issues as above). Further, I can't get questions to autoadvance (from the look&feel motion section) since the randomiser is in place. Does anyone have tips for this?Thanks in advance!
I have a question about Qualtrics capabilities. One of our surveys will be an eligibility screener that includes a consent form that gives the research team permission to access the respondents' administrative data. We need a signature for consent, and just having respondents read the consent language in the text of a question on Qualtrics and then sign if they agree does not meet the consent requirements. We need them to view the form and also get a PDF of the signed version after they sign it and complete the survey. I think that through Qualtrics API and Docusign's API we could pull everything but the signature from responses to previous survey questions (this consent is not for the survey, so they will take the survey first whether or not they decide to consent to admin data sharing) into a Docusign form embedded in Qualtrics and have them sign the Docusign form, and the completed form could be emailed to the respondent through Docusign. I would rather not go this route if possible
Dear all,I am completely new to Qualtrics and the community. I have developed a survey that will only be used by Desktop users (mobile compatibility is irrelevant). When looking at the preview, I realized that my horizontal 7-point Likert scales are not displayed entirely (16pt font size for questions and answers). Instead, users would have to scroll to the right to see the 7th answer choice. Obviously, I would like to avoid that at all cost. So far, I have tried the following:1) Reduce the font size of the answers - Solves the problem, but I would like to be consistent in the font size across questions and answers.2) Use of Custom CSS in the Look & Feel section - I did preliminary research on my question and pasted different lines of code into the CSS editor, but they all did not have an effect on the width of the survey interface or answers, e.g.,:.Skin, .SkinInner {width:100% !important;}.Skin .QuestionOuter.Matrix{ max-width: 100%; }Therefore, I would really appreciate your help in
Happy new year to everyone! I have a bunch of questions where I want the participants to answer ("forced response" option enabled). As I want the error message to be a little more prominent (i.e., color red and bold), I would like to customize the error message that appears on default for "forced response"-questions. Unfortunately, I am only able to receive the standard error message: ! I am only able to use the edited message if I use the "custom validation" option: ! Is it somehow possible that the standard error message (picture one) can be edited that it looks like the custom validation message (picture two)? I am a little too lazy to it via the custom validation option (>100 questions in my survey...). Best regards walli

I've got a couple of questions in my survey that have multiple choices check boxes and I would like to implement a "Select All" option so that survey takers don't have to check every box to "select all". See example below:
I’m creating a survey, making a few edits after publishing it but before sharing it with respondents. When I make edits to the questions, they are not refreshing after I publish it.I have tried clearing my browser history/cache and have waited for several hours to see if the survey updates, but the previous version of the survey is still what shows when I access the survey URL.Has anyone else had this happen? When I view my Recorded Responses, it says 0 (43). The number in parentheses is grey. Also, when I hover on (43), it shows this message: "Recently added responses are being processed for speedier viewing." What does this mean and how long does it take before the recorded responses appear in my account? Thanks!
I can't figure out any easy way to have a likert scale question-type. The Matrix question type can do it, but it doesn't make sense if you only have one "statement". And then there's the Net Promoter Score TM, but it doesn't allow me to adjust the number of points on the scale. I want a five point scale. Am I missing something obvious? It seems crazy that a single-item likert type question isn't a default option. Thanks!

Hi Qualtrics Community,I have a block of questions in survey1, and I want to bring those exact same questions into survey2, along with all the logic.I did the following but the logic doesn't come along and the questions get copied in the end of the survey:I copied the desired block from survey1 into a library (using block options-->copy to library).In survey2, I went to the block where I wanted the questions to be imported-->Selected the"Import Questions" option-->navigated to the library where I saved my desired block--> Clicked Import.How should I go about so that the entire block of questions can be imported into survey2 along with the logics? Hi. I am trying to survey the pains customers experience with a certain product and my survey is set up to collect open text responses. As I can't anticipate the number of text entries that each respondent might want to provide, I'm using a form-type question with multiple open text fields. The drawback with this is that it makes the survey experience a bit off-putting since five open text fields can feel daunting. I'm wondering if there's a way to allow respondents to self-determine the number of text entries when they take the survey? Rather than predefining the number of responses that everyone might provide, imagine a button of some sort that the respondent could click to add extra response fields as necessary. Is there a solution for this?
I am trying to add narration to each response item. I have tried to adjust the dimensions of the audio player, but it still shows the other elements. I would like to have participants click an image (either a play button or a speaker icon) to play the audio. I am open to creating the image myself, but I cannot figure out how to enable it to play the audio. Thank you!

Hello, I am completing a survey and wish to clarify an item before going live. I wish to give respondents the ability to have one person go in, complete their section, leave the survey, forward the link to another person and for them to complete their section and so on until the survey if completed and then submitted. What type of link in combination with settings such as “allow respondents to finish later” and “record incomplete submissions” need to be on to allow this to occur. The above is pivotal to the surveys success as we are distributing to 1 person who then is getting multiple people to fill in sections in different areas then submitting. Hi everyone. I seem to always struggle with this issue but I actually think Qualtrics is broken. I'm trying to create 3 different end of survey messages for a survey to help us identify the right pool of people for product research. I have the following survey flow which should work according to this KB. The problem is every time I test the survey, it's not working and keeps using the default end of survey message. SO THEN I updated the end of survey message with a customised message and when I tested it, it showed the Qualtrics default end of survey message, not the new one. Is this a problem I can solve or is it definitely a Qualtrics issue cause I'm going in circles and it's very frustrating. =) Thanks in advance!
