The widgets built in standard reports won’t work across questions/fields like that - only across respondents/records. Yes- if you distribute through Qualtrics you can download the distribution history to see details such as if the e-mail was opened or if the survey was started (which is a link click and survey load - technically the link click itself is not measurable, this is basically the same thing). If you opt to distribute personal links yourself, you can also tell if a survey was started upon closing the project - it will say “survey started” on that row along with any partial answers recieved.
Thanks for the idea! Turns out, my main issue was the layout I was using. I was utilizing the new “simple” layout, but I needed to change this to “blank” to get any of the code to work. After that, several of the previous solutions started to do something.

I don't think I can trust that as the automated part at the bottom does not indicate anonymous. Only the custom message from the boss. Also, in the Qualtrics form, there is no indication that it is anonymous. I omitted the some data in the link I got. I asked another friend and his url is different from mine in the DistributionList ID. The organization will likely know based on our responses who or which group responded what in their survey. Which in the case where the boss declared anonymity should not be trusted. Any further insights from the community is well appreciated. Really wish that Qualtrics have a verification page to proof my point or at least g
The XM Directory allows for sampling right inside the platform. You’ll need to upload the list - either upload or automation. You establish your sampling criteria while establishing the distribution.

Qualtrics doesn't have this feature - you can delay every message by a few days, but there is no ability to batch-send as you are describing.
Embedded data is on the right track... there is a way to accomplish this, but it's not going to be automatic. You will want to have the answers to these questions in the Embedded data of the survey. So after that block in your survey, have the survey flow capture that embedded data. Because you want to display several months worth of data, this flow will need to be updated each month - you want to capture answers from January (January_TimelineUpdate, January_ActivityUpdate, January_Comments). That data then needs to be associated with that contact. Utilize the "contact list trigger" function: https://www.qualtrics.com/support/survey-platform/survey-module/survey-tools/contact-list-triggers/Then, February's questionaire needs to be updated. Edit the survey project so that the table pulls in that embedded data to display. It's possible- but it will require monthly project edits on your part.
Interesting finding! You may have already controlled for this (I see you have some nice controls set up in the survey design) - but some other things to think about as you assess your findings 1) Did you randomize your test groups? 2) Did you run an actual statistical test to determine there was a significant difference in scores across each statement? The standard deviation between may be yielding insignificant results if you have not tested yet. 3) End of the day, one test is one test. You probably want several more before making calls about the method long-term. That said, I do try to use Matrix questions only when asking respondents to give relative rankings across a set of statements. I only use these when I want respondents to really think about "Statement A" and how that relates to "Statement B" - the matrix table is really great for comparisons like this. Otherwise, a carousel or individual questions will help anchor the respondent in that metric/statement only.
Simply - no, not out-of-the-box. There is a question randomization feature for blocks that works well. The "advanced randomization function" can help you do a lot of custom things - but it doesn't accept embedded data as an input. So there is no way to tell the block randomizer "Display N questions."
Your order makes sense to me in this view. Where is your breakdown happening, what isn't coming through? The web UserID? I am curious if your first embedded data block there is being pulled in from a panel? If yes, you may be pulling the panel UserID rather than the web. Perhaps try UserID in it's own block first to try and grab from the query string rather than the panel? And make sure it's triggering back to the panel so you get consistency across the databases.
The out-of-the box options I'm familiar with (Ballot Box Stuffing prevention) work off of cookies. I have a hair-brained idea you can try but it may not work. You'll need to at least temporarily save the answers to the last survey somewhere in order to give the system something to compare - otherwise the system won't know to trigger the e-mail. You can use workflows to trigger the survey information into XM directory: https://www.qualtrics.com/support/survey-platform/actions-module/xm-directory-task/. Then set up the e-mail trigger so that "If Survey response for Answer 1 = Dissatisfied, and Past Survey info saved in directory = Dissatisfied." But: Unless there are a small number of questions and answer choices, you're going to have a HUGE amount of logic to build out on your e-mail trigger. If the survey is set up to always overwrite the old responses - I'm not sure it will work. It depends on when the workflow is fired v. the E-mail trigger. The workflow on the new survey would have to fire after the e-mail trigger- or the system would only ever be able to reference the new surve
In order to capture unique SubjectIDs, yes.If you have the participants pre-identified, upload them with SubjectID as a embedded data category. If you're using qualtrics mailer or mail merge to distribute, simply pipe that ID into the URL. That makes it so you're not hand-creating 200 unique IDs.
My organization does! Here's some things we have implemented I'd recommend you keep in mind: Ensure questions are phrased the exact same way to ensure you're measuring the same thing. So if the relationship survey asks for liklihood to recommend the company/product.... the post-interaction survey should say the same thing, not "how likely are you to recommend this call center/team." An NPS for the org and an NPS for a service may be two different ratings in the mind of a customer. Bear in mind you may want to weight responses. A straight aggregation, where every survey and every customer response counts for equal weight might skew towards the survey where a lot of responses are coming through (e.g. if more people take the relationship survey than the interaction survey, the results will skew on the relationship side). My org has multiple relationship survyes, and multiple interaction surveys. Within those groups- the weight is by n-count. But to achieve an org-wide-single-NPS aggregat
I don't work with Inquisit. But I can see that URL doesn't contain a query string to identify the subjectID. In order to capture that info, the URL itself will need to contain the info: mili2nd.co/4n7b?subjectID=123456You'll need to alter the URL being sent so that it contains that identifier for Qualtrics to capture it.
This can only be done manually. You'll need to open up the quotas area and "set count" to the correct count.
If you're set on this format, I would use the Matrix question type and use the validation rules to ensure only one of each category is selected. To get the "Most/Least" important bit above the numbers, simply add to get a line break between the two items on the 1 and 5 label.... But remember to set up validation rules so that there can only be one answer selected for each ranking....
I don't think I totally understand the setup- are completed customer responses, every single one of them, being sent to an entire distribution list of people? Either way- it seems to me the CX team would benefit from taking a slightly more active role in the process to "filter" responses and help make sense of what you're seeing: Use the E-mail Trigger function to only send "perfect scores" and/or "dissatisfied customers" to the e-mail chain. Set yp the e-mail automations according to more stringent requirements. Send "perfect scores" and/or "dissatisfied customers" to Salesforce Chatter or some other communication platform your company uses. Use the driver analysis to periodically (monthly or quarterly) identify trends. Have your researchers/analysts push this out with "next steps" to fix longer term trends. I have it working just fine- not sure where our methods differ, so sharing how I got there: For the Embedded data, I used the recode values. I know that qualrics saves these as numerical values, so I know I'm using a field type that math operations ("greater than") will work on. For the branching logic, the first statement is already recognized as embedded data. But for the second part of the logic statement, you want to make sure that you're pulling in the embedded data field, so make sure you ask it to pipe in that field's results. Just typing in "TRAVELSCORE" is going to be saved as a text field which reads "TRAVELSCORE", so you're kind of asking the system it won't be able to understand or assess. There's likely a few other methods. I suspect that if you used the piping language, you could also just say "Branch if the question recode value from Home is greater than the question recode value from Travel" without needing the embedded data at all. But I haven't tried that!
It seems like an error that these aren't appearing in "in progress" - I would contact Support to notify them and see if it's a bug they can fix. Check your re-code values. I don't know if you use the automatically generated scales or not, but these typically have recode values that do NOT automatically move sequentially (1-5). If your recode values are different than the 1-5, it could be correlating to those.
