EX Idea Boards - Access across managers

@ManfredBMYes, every manager that has the permission to use Ideas are able to create their own board and send a link to their employees No, I spoke with Qualtrics customer support awhile back and they confirmed that this is not possible unless that specific manager tells you they created one and you proxy as them or they send you a link to their ideas board.With Actions Plan however you can view all actions that managers are creating and monitor them within manager assist or an action plans dashboard.

@am-jo Add the following code after what you have currently: write.csv(ema_survey, file = "ema_survey.csv", row.names = FALSE)Then within R Studio environment the following CSV will show up and you will be able to view it within Excel! I hope this helps you out!

@am-jo Just wanted to get some clarification but are you not able to connect the API or you are not able to select a particular project and download the dataset? Based off the code it looks like you successfully connected to the API and was able to see all your survey IDs.Thank you!

Hello everyone!My new year's resolution professionally is to learn and be at an intermediate level using SQL and Employee Journey Analytics within Qualtrics. I feel these can go hand in hand when attempting to join data together, but we’ll first need more employee responses😅 That also is a part of my new years resolution in finding ways to promote responses! Personally, I am TRYING to become a morning person but all 4 years in college I was a night owl and ate pizza at 12 AM studying 😂

SMS Distributions and Metadata

@afrerichs I just launch an onboarding lifecycle project not too long ago and, in my experience, the easiest way to pull metadata is with SSO. When sending the SMS, it is just an open link type survey but if you have all of participant metadata when importing them you will still be able to use their metadata with Dashboards. That is my current situation with Exit Surveys since they participants will no longer have access to our companies SSO.

@jcourtneyZ  All good, I see now that is not the same. The only thing I could find relating to the CX dashboards is you are able to restrict the data that they can view/export? In the fourth bullet point Qualtrics points out the issue you are facing. Here is the link: Step 6: Sharing & Administering CX Dashboards (qualtrics.com) I am not too sure if you have tried this but I have seen this done before.

Limited dashboard export permissions

Hello @jcourtneyZ  Yes, this functionality is possible where you can obviously limit what they can see on their dashboard as well as exporting permission. The export permissions are not within the Dashboard User Role but rather in the dashboard settings itself. Here is a screenshot displaying what it looks like.  As you can see you can toggle off the “Allow dashboard Export” and only allow “Widget Export”. Now with these settings turn on, your dashboard users no longer have the ability to export the entire dashboard and can individually export widgets. Depending on what widget is being used, only certain widgets will allow a CSV file export. According to Qualtrics, the following widgets are limited to a PNG or PDF: Qtip: Only Bubble Charts, Participation widgets, Gauge Charts, and Engagement Summaries cannot be exported to a CSV or TSV.  I hope this helps!

Styling the dashboard sharing email

Hello @JohannesCE  I also tried doing this in the past once and it is not possible to add html in this particular email. Hopefully they add the source code editor feature in the future since I know you have the option to edit the source code on other emails. I mainly use this function for EX emails.

Export Scores by Org Unit

Hello @AgnieszkaB  Not too sure if you had this resolved right now but I will still add instructions in case you need to refer to it and others.  Some of the pre requisites before exporting are listed in Qualtrics work instructions that I followed: Dashboards is on the 2.0 version “Allow Dashboard Export” is turned on in your dashboard settings Dashboards must be on new scales :Lastly, dashboard have a hierarchy filterAfter that, when exporting the particular page based off the org unit you have chosen, the dashboard should display “Export scores by org unit” when clicking on the export dashboard button. Once I downloaded the CSV file I was able to see the favorable, neutral, and unfavorable scores overall based on the widgets you have set up. This should solve your issue of not being able to the question names and headers. I hope this helps!

Action Planning in EX

Unfortunately from my knowledge and Qualtrics support page, you cannot upload a list of action plans from a CSV file but obviously can do the opposite. It would nice to have this feature though but be hard to implement since a lot of fields would need to be configurated to import action plans under a specific person/focus area.

Display EX Ad Hoc individual responses on a dashboard

Hello @gingersauz This is possible depending if you have the metadata set correctly from your participant list. In my case, if we wanted to look at a specific person, we can add a page filter selecting from our associates User IDs and be able to lookup who's response it was. Again, I am not too sure how your organization is setup as far as unique identifiers for your employees but you can always add a new metadata field to your participant list and import it as a new a field. Does this help? Here is a visual of how I have it set up

Which benchmarks to use?

Hello @G_Reed  It really depends on which route you want to go. If you were to select the percent favorable 75th percentile, you would strictly be analyzing and comparing the proportion of positive responses towards a certain issue or topic from your EX-survey. Example would be comparing your Intent to Stay favorability percentage against all other companies in the same industry with the 75th percentile.  If you are going the route of the average, it is just going to compare the score of all values giving you a overall Intent to Stay score based on a raw number. In summary, you can focus on the proportion of positive responses or use the average to compare the general feeling or your associates. It really depends on population size, the availability of data within your industry/country, and what your organization wants to analyze. In our case, we went with percent favorable. Visually you can see it as comparing the average of 3.11 or the percent favorable of 42%. which would be pulling

🌎️ World Environment Day | Badge of the Month | June 2023

Hello everyone, I am from the famous lands of corn here in the state of Indiana. As much as I love the cornfields, I have travelled to the state of Oregon in a town called Koos Bay! I have visited Oregon over 5 times and have ate tons of seafood, hiked, and walked many of the beaches in the area. I will try to add photos here when I get home but it is a beautiful state to visit!  In the future, when I have money saved I would like to get an electric car to commute to and from work! A lot of my friends and coworkers have electric vehicles. In the meantime, my girlfriend and I try to use reusable items such as straws, storage bags, and grocery bags to stray away from using plastic!

Which benchmarks to use?

Hello @G_Reed  Please refer to the 2020-2022 Engagement Benchmark Overview guide on the best practices and differences between the favorability and average percentile link: 2020-2022 Engagement Benchmark Overview (qualtrics.com). In short summary, here is quick summary on what they measure. Percent Favorable - 75th percentile: This refers to the 75th percentile of the percent favorable scores (e.g., % Agree + % Strongly Agree) across surveys Average - 75th percentile: This refers to the 75th percentile of the raw mean scores across surveys“Top Percentiles are the threshold scores required to be in the top percentile. For example, the 75th percentilereflects the survey score at which 75% of survey scores fall at or below. The 90th percentile reflects the score atwhich 90% of survey scores fall at or below. These are sometimes referred to as high performing stretchbenchmarks but they are not recommended for first time engagement surveys” - Qualtrics EX Engagement Benchmark Availability.

Hello @Christi Pilutik Just to clarify, are you trying to map a previous survey org hierarchy to your current one?Thanks! Typically, in the org hierarchy mapping tool, it will display which participants are not mapped to a current org hierarchy.
