@MattiasM your linked question doesn’t pertain to this original topic. Did you find a recent solution to include an honeypot style question not viewable to participants? No I did not. Could have been me not doing it right though. :)

Workflow Email not coming through

Thanks @Shashi , but we are getting this setup to work on others so it was just for a specific project. However, upon doing some “detail-digging” we founds that the Survey availability had been set somehow, which caused the workflow to break. Probably because there was no “active” survey to link to. Don’t know how this setting occurred, but I know I didn’t do it :)  So once this was altered back to “always open”, the issue went away.  Thanks anyway, and a big shoutout to Joe for finding this issue and ultimately the solution! Have a great rest of your day!-Mattias

Hello and good afternoon from a sunny and cold Sweden! Professionally I want to learn new things and also see if I can shift from my current, somewhat static workplace to something new. Personally I’m picking up a healthier lifestyle. Add an "NA" option to star rating question

Hello and good morning from a snowy Sweden! I dont have a proper solution for you. But we ended up having to get Qualtrics Consulting services to accomplish this (as we are not Java script skilled on our small team). In a nutshell it includes carry forward of your choice questions, along with java code each step of the way along with a MASSIVE java script code in the look and feel. So not at all an easy implementation unfortunately. Since we ended up paying for this, I am unfortunately unable to share the documentation with you.  All the best-Mattias

Syncing question text back to Salesforce?

Hi @MattiasM , The simplest route would be to pass back the single response report link to SF, but if you need a custom SF object containing the questions text, I think you’d have to create fields for both your questions and your answers and then fill them with the appropriate piped in text in your mapping. Question: ${q://QID1/QuestionText}Answer: ${q://QID1/SelectedChoicesRecode}   Thanks for this @vgayraud - I’ll test it out in the coming week and let you know if I get it to work :) Thanks again!-Mattias

Progress bar with verbose text does not work

@MattiasM Turns out to be a problem with the theme after all. When I changed the theme to “Blank” and added our company logo again, it’s working fine now :)  So I guess it has to do with the Theme we had earlier. Woohoo, sounds like I am helping :)

Progress bar with verbose text does not work

@MattiasM  @ArunDubey I think I found what is the problem. Though I don’t have a solution to this yet. This problem is appearing in the “classic” layout which I am using for all my surveys. The only layout the “progress bar with verbose text” or “progress bar with text” works at the moment is the “flat” layout which I am not using in any of my surveys.     Hello againI use Classic as well and that works with the text for me. Which Theme do you have? I used “Blank”. All the best-Mattias

Workflow survey email to several recipients

Thanks for sharing the link. I went through all the links. But the customer says, when he keeps the browser for long time and does no action, he gets the below message:    English translation : Your session has ended and your response, if any, has been recorded. Where can I change this message ? Good morning from a sunny Sweden!You go to your project. Go to “Survey Options”, then go down to “Expired Survey message”, click “Custom” and then you can create a new message under which user you want it to be sored under.  All the best-Mattias

Monthly URLs

Good afternoon from a rainy Sweden!What are you using to analyze the data? Because you should be able to use the “Recorded date” as the date to identify the month. If you need to be certain that an answer is specific to each month, you can always hard code the link to include the month as embedded data for each sending.  All the best-Mattias

Hide the choice and have stars all the way to left

Good afternoon from a rainy Sweden!If you just do a space (underscore), the label will go away. The stars will not be at the very left still, but there is at least no text there.  At least a partial solution :)  All the best-Mattias

Hello and good morning from a snowy Sweden!In Sweden we more or less do a repeat of the holiday foods over Christmas, Easter and Midsummer (don’t trust the movie, it’s not like that….. ...or…?)So Christmas food in general would be things like pickled herring in different flavors, baked ham, egg, boiled potatoes, sausages, beet root salad, “Janssons temptation” (a potato gratin with anchovies), mustard, smoked salmon, brussel sprouts, SNAPS and OF COURSE meatballs!!!!The main thing that is exclusive (to my family at least) is the baked ham. That is only eaten during Christmas. During Easter and Midsummer there is a lot more focus on eggs and the pickled herring.  All the best-Mattias

QR Code for 360 survey

Thanks for your reply @MattiasM  Is it possible to generate QR code in EX survey in the Qualtrics ? Hello again @sahana We don’t have the EX portion of Qualtrics so I wouldn’t be able to tell you exactly. But in the CX part of Qualtrics you open up your project, go to Distributions and on that page select “QR Code” and the unique code for that specific project is generated. Perhaps someone else who is better skilled in EX could jump in and let me know if it’s the same? All the best-Mattias

QR Code for 360 survey

Good morning from a rainy Sweden!Let me start by asking a quick question: Why do you need to know who answered what? Each response will be given a unique Response Id so you can separate them. If you need to know their email address for validation (or any other reason) then you could add an initial block to ask the responders to state their email address before they can begin, but only show this initial question to those that come in to the survey via the QR code and not via email or phone.  All the best-Mattias

Hello and good afternoon from a cloudy Sweden!I don’t know to which extent you need the information to carry through, but you might want to check out the Longitudinal Survey setup and see if that would be a fit (Read about it here: https://www.qualtrics.com/support/survey-platform/common-use-cases-rc/pulling-data-into-a-second-survey-longitudinal-surveys/ ).I have used this to have information flow between two different departments collaborating on something, only to end up in one single, final space at the end.  All the best-Mattias

Best Practices for Testing Surveys and Workflows in Qualtrics

@MatthewM, but when you do that, the Directory/Respondents Funnel will count that testing email to your burner gmal account as an Email Sent. So when you visualize the total of Email Sent / invitations in your dashboard, the count will not be correct. Do you then filter on List ID or Distribution ID? Good afternoon from a dark and chilly Sweden!Coming from someone who has never done the likes of what you’re describing I just wonder: Is there a way to label your test surveys with embedded data or a test-exclusive selection in the survey? That way you could see them in the report and/or have them deleted from the response data after testing is done.  Just brainstorming here :) All the best-Mattias
