As someone involved in many different platform communities, Qualtrics is hands down, by far THE BEST. In addition to staying informed on the recent releases I seek the community for answers, tips, tricks and custom code that the KB doesn’t have. So many times I have been looking for information on one topic but stumbled onto something else that made me go “ohhhh, that’s cool, I can use that”. I am continuously improving, thanks to the XM Community!

bkimup did you ever figure out a good way to set access to the survey so that anyone in your org can retrieve them?

Thanks, Tom_1842, that makes sense! Thoughts on a way to send the survey out multiple times to the same recipient without copying the blocks and using display logic? I have a few recipients that will need to complete the survey 20 times for 20 different vendors. And I have a total of 220 vendors. So I'm either sending 220 individual surveys (yuck) or copying the survey block 220 times and adding display logic leveraging the embedded data in the Contact List.
Grandparents spend the night on Christmas Eve so that they can be there when the grandkids wake us up at 4 am (even at 12 years old, lol), then we all take naps, eat breakfast, maybe another nap, then start getting ready for the afternoon when the house fills up with additional loved ones. We cook, talk, laugh, and take family pictures (attempt to anyway). It is an absolutely awesome and blessed day!
I work with several different products and platforms, and there have been MANY times I wish that they had a community like this one! Not only am I able to search and find answers to many questions, but I usually end up finding some good info to bookmark for later or something that turns on the light bulb because I found a new/better way to do something. There are many excellent resources throughout but TomG always comes through with the cleanest way to implement, and I greatly appreciate that!

Rudi - I know it's been a while but any chance you can explain or share a QSF file? I have a survey where I want to leverage hidden embedded data for an email workflow. Ex: Q1 asks them to select their name. If they select Captain America, embedded data (their username/login) equals cptamr. Then I can set the email workflow to come from the user. We have custom from domains set up so I can then use the login as embedded data with our email domain. I do know who the user is. However, this is the second survey in a Longitudinal survey and I do not want to ask their email and username/login in the first survey. I'm not using the longitudinal survey traditionally. I'm having the 1st survey completed by one person, that triggers a workflow to send the 2nd survey to the email to the address they entered in the survey. The 2nd survey is completed by a different person. Sorry, that was a lot! Just wanted to paint the picture 🙃
This is still happening! One day the advanced reports have data and the next day, nothing.
Love this ♥️ I've donated and signed up for the virtual event. I fight for my mom who fought and won her battle with breast cancer 22 years ago and is now fighting stage 3 lung cancer. She's got a great medical team, and is almost done with chemo and radiation!
I love that Qualtrics can be used in so many ways! Yes, it's a survey platform but if you get creative and think outside the box you can use it A LOT of different ways. Right now the workflow emails are a focus to minimize some of the manual emails that are being sent with consistent information.
Just curious if you ever found something that does what you mentioned above?

TomG - The new auto-advance feature is awesome! However, it's not working for me with all of my question types, specifically star rating and free text. Would the JS you mentioned worked for these type of questions?
I am not following ana_velez_voce. If I create a new field and add a separator then all of the names will show as one with a comma or whatever separator I select. I gave your suggestion a try (the way I understand it), below is a screenshot. Ideally, each DL will have their own view in the dashboard that allows them to filter by Direct Report at the top. Right now I have 50 filters per DL for each Direct Report. After typing that, I think I understand where your suggestion to combine came from. I don't want to actually combine the embedded data but combine the names of the embedded data from 50 unique into 1 unique.
Thanks ana_velez_voce! If I do it in Data and Analysis, I will be manually updating 600 responses. Right? Is there a way to do this without updating them all one by one? I supposed I could use bucketing in the data and analysis to call the fields MgrDR's (SmithDR's, PittDR's, RobertsDR's etc.) but I am still touching each response and that could be problematic down the road. 🤔

@Heith, I have not tried making a Measure Group as suggested. Honestly I have not heard of that! I will see what I can find in KB's and the community but if you have any suggestions on how to begin I'm all ears! Thanks for the suggestion :)
