Best practice for feedback to the organization

I am interested in understanding some good practices. How do you prepare information to present findings to your organization? Do you show dashboards directly? Do you export widgets? Do you recreate slides with better quality, from raw data? We want to have interactive feedback, meaning that we will create Google slides for divisions. The challenge is that dashboard widget exports are of such poor quality that they are unusable in slides. Screenshots are equally poor.To be honest, I was expecting to export and past widgets into the slides. Now, I see that widget export quality is an old issue:  Unfortunately, Google slides does not support HTML embedding.

Ideas for TextIQ top-down analysis approach

What customers are saying:I have used TextIQ to do bottom-up classification (basically, reading the feedback, building queries and building a topic hierarchy.) Answering our business questions:I am also required to do top-down analysis. We performed an insight needs analysis phase as part of our customer survey, so there are clear themes / questions for which we want customer insights. Has anyone done this type of analysis before? I am keen to learn some concepts and approach.

Dashboard data display help - what is the source of truth?

Hi EveryoneHope you all had a nice weekend. 🤞I have a multiple choice question as per the below.As you can see Mobile App had 17 responses, which was 9% when taking into consideration the other multiple choice options. The results have been stacked and normalised using a horizontal bar widget.But….17 responses of the total responses (46) is approx. 36.9%.So what what is correct?  Or are they both correct?  9% or 36.9%?I just want to ensure the data is presented correctly and not misleading to colleagues.The reason I have highlighted Mobile App is because this is the focus of the survey, and we need this data to help drive a decision but I am unsure how to represent this accurately. Thanks :)

Delay updating Funnel information

Hi! Hope you are doing great! I have configured the Funnel Report into different Dashboard in order to track the response rate from different surveys. I have done a few tests sending me the surveys before sending it officially so the information from the funnel is kind of mixed.I´ve deleted one or two distributions in order to see if  that affected to the total number but I still haven´t seen the change. Is there a delay in the update from the funnel information or once a distribution has been made there is no way of deleting the information from the funnel? Thanks!

Filter groupings by embedded data on CX dashboard

I have an embedded data field mapped as a text set. I’m wanting to have a page filter where several of the text set options are selected but clickable in one click (see pic for reference - so I would want a filter called “yellow,” then when it was clicked it would auto select just for those embedded fields circled in yellow rather than having the end user select each of those individually, same for purple and red). BUT I still want the ability to select just 1 field rather than the whole group of circled specialties. I know I can make an Advanced filter but I’m trying to figure out how to be able to “turn on” the yellow group filter, turn off the purple group filter, etc…

How do I remove/ change an "ID" field designated at setup of an Import Data project?

I recently created a few Import Data projects to be able to upload data for using in Dashboards.  At that time, the tool recommended indicating an “ID” so I designated “Contact_ID” as the field.  I am now realizing that this is putting limitations on the data being brought into the Project from the file being uploaded so I want to remove that ID designation but it’s greyed-out in Field Chooser and can’t find anywhere else to be able to remove/ change the ID.Qualtrics support desk doesn’t know.Any guidance from the pro users out there?

Combining age (Bucketed) and age survey question.

Hi all,I have 2 questions in the survey with age.1st is a Bucketed variable. (Bucked from the age received through URL) 2nd is a a question asked in survey.The 2nd question is asked if only “AGE” is not received through URL.Both are in the below format.18-24 25-34 35-44 45-54 55-64 65+I would like to report this in dashboard combined. How will I combine both together.Thank youPraveen

NPS scale 0 missing in dashboard widget

Hi All Im building a dashboard from a database with 6 surveys. Survey 2 has got 3 NPS question.For some reason 1st 2 NPS question scale is correct.The 3rd NPS scale in dashboard widget is not showing 0. Its starting from 1 to 10.In the data source I can see 0 to 10.What could be the reason the 0 is missing in the widget. Please find below the screenshot.

Multi choice text question not reporting as separate codes by comma.

Hi, Context:I have got 3 surveys.  All 3 have  got an embedded data called “ExpType” All 3 are set as “Multi Text Set” All 3 are combined in the dashboard data source section as 1. The combined variable is also set as “Multi text set”Problem,When reporting I created 3 horizontal bar chart.The data from survey 1 is showing everything correctly and the codes are separated by comma and treated separately.In Survey 2 the comma is not separating the data and its treated as kind of single choice. Please find below screenshot with the highlighted reference.  Thank you,Praveen

Styling the dashboard sharing email

Hi everyone! I'm trying to find a way to style the very plain emails where we share CX Dashboard PDF and links (https://www.qualtrics.com/support/vocalize/sharing-dashboards/exporting-data-from-vocalize/#EmailDashboards). Is that actually possible?I don't see any option for HTML editing:

White space left by Dashboard widgets in PDF download

Hello Community! In my CX Dashboard, my widgets are neatly aligned like this: When I download the PDF, the empty space left by widgets is cut off like this:This seems trivial, but I have many pages and the misalignments add up, making my PDF report messy.I can't make the widget smaller and adjust the one to the left, because then the last metric will be cut off. Any solutions?

How to display change in score - Month vs Month

Good morning all,I’m yet to discover a way to display a month vs month score change and I am hoping someone can help. We can certainly provide the information for stakeholders to work out the difference between, say a score of 47% one month, 50% the next, but we are being challenged to provide this comparison clearly due to having a vast program in place. We’ve been able to make great use of the many fantastic widgets in the CX Dashboards but this is a gap that is blocking us from automating more of our weekly/monthly reporting. Please see attached for an example of what I’m looking to recreate. The Comparisons & Benchmarks features we do use, but are keen to not have to manually update these numbers each month.

Combining words in new Dashboard Word Cloud widget

Hi! I have a text entry question with 3 fields. I'm asking the respondents to write 3 words they associate with something. Right now, it seems that I can't show all these associations in 1 word cloud. The user viewing the dashboard can select one of the three fields, but not all 3. Is that correct? I tried to put all 3 fields in a group, but that didn't work.

Distribution Reporting / XM Directory Respondent Funnel metricx not showing

Hi! I'm having trouble with the Distribution Reporting feature. According to the support page, I can just connect the contacts in the directory to the dashboard data with an XM Directory Respondent Funnel. XM Directory Respondent Funnel (qualtrics.com)I created a Testing directory with 14 contacts. Most of them are fake, a few are not. I then added the directory as a source in the dashboard. This is how it looks:In distribution, I sent the survey to the whole directoryIn the Dashboard, the responses are not showing: Even though I'm just filtering on sent emails:

Adding piped text to CX Dashboard

Hi XM Community! Is there a way to add piped text to a CX Dashboard, for example in the Rich Text Editor?I'd like to add descriptive text with variables, like this:Of course I have linked these variables as embedded data in the Dashbaord Data, but I can't use them as piped text in a widget like that.

CX Dashboard visualizations rescaling bug?

Hi! Widgets in my CX Dashboard rescale for some reasong when I enter and exit Settings.Especially Number Charts and Gauge Charts turn smaller.I have to manually change them back by just clicking on edit and then exiting.Does anyone know why this is happening?See the image: to the left how it should be, to the right the buggy version:

Quarterly Survey > How to create a 'Quarter' date new field based on current 'dates' fields in Data & Analysis tab

Hi Qualtrics colleagues,We have built a survey that is launched quarterly. First wave was launched on last April’23 and next wave will be launched now in July’23. Next wave is expected to be launched on next October’23.We would like to know if there is a way to build trend widgets so let us to compare results in a quarterly based. It means, we’re interesting on comparing results Q3’2023 vs Q2’20203 and so on. Also, not only for the trend graphs but also in the number widgets and rest of themIs there a way to create a new ‘date field’ that lets us to compare results quarter by quarter? For instance creating a new field in ‘Data Analysis’ tab that identifies which quarter each interview belongs to.The main goal is creating also as a new field coded as ‘date format’ or at least that can be coded as ‘date format’ in the dashboard to work with accordingly.Thanks for your support!

Can I weight Data Sources for my CX Dashboard?

I am developing a CX dashboard for my ‘Group’ within the organisation, which is connected to three different data sources, with each source representing a ‘service area’. I want to get a CX score for the group by bringing together the three data sources. The issue I am having is that one source has a much larger number of responses (2,279) than the others (131 & 147), which is effectively skewing the results to be representative of the largest data set. Is it possible to weight the data sources equally, irrespective of the number of responses for that source?

Need XM Directory YoB embedded field to categorise into age group for dashboard

In Xm directory I have an embedded field for Year of birth that is collected through a profiling survey (YoB). I would like to know how to set it in a dashboard so that YoB dynamically updates year on year for Age Group categories ie., Less than 18 18-24, 25-34 etc. Can this be done as a custom metric?

Dashboard - Breakdown Bar (Not Ascending)
