NPS scale 0 missing in dashboard widget | XM Community

Hi All

Im building a dashboard from a database with 6 surveys. Survey 2 has got 3 NPS question.

For some reason 1st 2 NPS question scale is correct.

The 3rd NPS scale in dashboard widget is not showing 0. Its starting from 1 to 10.

In the data source I can see 0 to 10.

What could be the reason the 0 is missing in the widget.

Please find below the screenshot.

Hi @praveengeorgeix ,

Nice to e-meet you.

As a first troubleshooting step, could you check whether any respondent have answered “0” as an option in said NPS questions?

If you do have the data, do check in the mapping for the question, e.g. if “0” is not excluded from the analysis.

Hope this helps.

Hi @praveengeorgeix, This might be a reason,

Check the visualization settings of the widget to ensure that the scale is correctly configured. Some visualization tools or libraries allow you to customize the axis ticks and labels, so it's possible that the 0 value is hidden or not displayed due to specific settings.Verify the data type and formatting of the NPS values in the data source. Ensure that the 0 value is present in the data and is of a numerical type that the dashboard widget can interpret correctly

HI @praveengeorgeix

You can also check the recode editor in the dashboard setting. It is possible that you have recode 0 as 1 in the dashboard setting.

Curious how this will turn out! You’re absolutely right @SaurabhPujare_Ugam in that NPS is in fact an 11 point scale starting at zero (0 as the strongest detractor) and going to ten (10 as the strongest promotor)

Thanks @SaurabhPujare_Ugam  We got a respnse with 0 today morning and it fixed the issue.

Thats so bad as to develop the dashboard correctly we need to get a 0 score.

Hey @praveengeorgeix,

Glad to know that the issue is now resolved!

Hopefully one day dashboard will start referring to the actual recode values straight away rather when the data is collected :)
